JN News Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Ok, so I just got done visiting the Mid-Atlantic Gateway website, and I looked at the photos of some of the people who have been NWA President. People like Jim Crockett, Eddie Graham, Bob Giegel, & Sam Mushnick who had been some of the most well-known promoters in the NWA. My question is, how did all these men get to become NWA President? What did they have to do to get there?
CanadianChris Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Unless I misunderstand the history of the NWA, pretty much whoever had the biggest star in the country wrestling for them at a given time was NWA president. That's how Sam Mushnick (Lou Thesz), Fred Kohler (Buddy Rogers) and Jim Crockett (Harley Race and Ric Flair) got to be president.
