Angle got the rub tonight but the ME looks booked till at least September. Where does he go from here?

RR was awesome with a great title match, good RR, good Flair-Vince match and Regal winning the IC title!!!!!!!

Wrestlemania I really enjoyed for some reason. All my star ratings seem to way differ then everyone elses. Flair-Taker ****.

Backlash sucked. All the heels went over which was depressing. Austin-Taker was sooooo slow.

Judgement Day was better with the awesome Edge-Angle, HIAC, Austin v. nWo and RVD-Eddy matches.

KOTR was also a good show.

How'd I forget Booker?!

Easily. The WWE forgot him.

A feud with Test or Mark Henry. Although I fear Jericho will be put in a worse position.....

"We have yet to see what the WWE way is. I like your idea and would prefer that happen while RVD is main eventing SS. But I'm willing to give it a chance and pray to god that it works out with Brock. "

In all fairness.

How many angles/feuds/payoffs/anything...

Has the WWE done well since Mania 17?

I've laid out why Taker vs. RVD has a payoff and makes sense.

Brock having a payoff of any kind that is good...will take a lot of buildup.

RVD/Taker already has it.

I just thought of something. As good as the Jericho vs RVD match was, you would normally expect a rematch to happen at the next PPV. RVD vs Jericho for the IC Title would be a good match, especially a if it were maybe a LADDER match. That would appease a lot of people who are mad that RVD didn't win the KOTR. But that will never happen because of the split.

The Year in Pay Per Views So Far:

Royal Rumble: ***1/2

No Way Out: **

Wrestlemania: ***

Backlash: ***

Judgment Day: **3/4

King of the Ring: **

That's based on actual quality averaged with how much I enjoyed it.

Rumble: Rock-Jericho rocked bells (****1/4, imo) and the Rumble main was really good (***1/2), but everything else sucked, and, in the case of Flair-Vince, sucked HARD.

Wrestlemania: Only one really awful match (the tag title match was both a trainwreck AND a clusterfuck), though everything else ranged from watchable-to-good, but it was all kinda forgettable.

Backlash: Angle-Edge kicked mucho ass, of course. In fact, I was all prepared to give a positive rating to this show, but Austin-Taker and HHH-Hogan had to flush it all down the toilet. Feh.

How come KoTR's are usually crappy? 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000...

You didn't think that Angle vs. Edge from Backlash blew the JD one out of the water?

At least lets see where its going on RAW. They will either give us something good that will get us excited for Brock vs. Taker or give us shit. I'm at least going into it optimistic. You can never enjoy anything if you go into it being pessimistic. Of course some people here LOVE to do it that way.

Now, I am pissed Brock won, and I hate him with a passion, but it is WAY too early to start being angry that Brock will win the title or to say he will "probably" win it.

I think he'll win it. Especially if they are building up the KOTR to SS like they build the Royal Rumble to 'Mania. Usually the Rumble winner gets the title at 'Mania I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same thing with the KOTr winner.

Wow... that blew.

Started strong but went to hell.

Jericho/RVD ***1/2

Brock/Test **

Hurricane/Knoble **

Eddie/Flair *1/2

Molly/Trish *1/2

Hogan/Angle **

RVD/Lesnar DUD

HHH/Undertaker DUD

No bps- I liked the Judgement Day for some reason. I know I'm in the minority.

I'll have to watch the matches again for a second opinion.

Flair v. Vince was a "fun" match. Not technically great but very enjoyable to watch and it was good to see Flair go over.

"At least lets see where its going on RAW. They will either give us something good that will get us excited for Brock vs. Taker "

They are not going with Brock vs. Taker. No way. No how.

Rock wins the title at Vengeance.

Brock beats Rock at SummerSlam.

Probably puts him out too...since he has to go make a movie.

So instead of getting the 2 month build up that the SS title match would have...it has one month.

And a predictable ending since the Rock has to leave.

They could put Brock in there somehow to build up with the Rock or even put Brock's Shot on the line against RVD. I just am going to be optimistic and wait until after RAW to decide how things are going to go.

Brock can't even play a monster heel right.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

Lets look at it:

Taker vs. Brock is heel vs. heel. Strike 1.

They ended the ppv teasing a Rock vs. Taker feud.

Rock puts people over...so he would put Brock over easier than say...HHH or Taker (who hates new people).

Brock sucks in the ring. What happend to those reports telling me he was a great wrestler?

I've been wondering the same thing for ages. I saw him in a dark match last year twice, and both times I turned to the people I was with and we all thought along the lines of "That was it? Just a generic power wrestler?"

I think people just got caught up in the hype that he was so great and had so miuch potential so people come home from the house show or whatever and must tell everyone how they saw Brock and how great he is. I never believe or care about this hype for the dark match guys or when young new talent come. Anyone ever noticed whenever a young guy comes in, no matter what they do, there's like a million people ranting and raving about how much potential they have? I can not remember EVER seeing a young star come in and people saying "eh, that was ok" or "I guess it wasn't bad" it's always people marking out for how great they are. I remember the comment that "Bull Buchanan will be main eventing in 6 months" back in 2000. Classic.

Brock sucks.

I think the guy is playing "I Look Like A Giant Penis" (thanks Amy) part down, though.

so from jericho to hhh to hogan to taker prolly to rock to a rookie hoss?! WWE has lost it.

I jumped on the Brock Love Train when he first debuted, but he just sucks. He's too green.

Now that HHH is out of the Main Event, Jericho's got a role though! HHH's bitch to the rescue!

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

I will say this:

The WWE could easily get back on track with Taker going over Rock at Vengeance....and Rock costing Brock the #1 contendership to RVD at the same show.

ok the good from this ppv-

rvd-jericho

rock-booker-goldust interview

angle beating hogan (not the actual match)

the ok

molly-trish

the insulting to whoever paid money for this pile of horseshit-

everything else

WOL is saying that he wont be gone long. And if things go well with his elbow surgery he could main event Vengeance with a 3 way with Rock and Taker.

(Hence the three way finisher brawl after the main event)

Well... that wouldn't be bad.

But, would it be better if RVD/UT had a 1 month build (the guy wins at Vengeance) or a 2 month build (the guy wins on Raw w/ the same plan you bought up)?

I think the blowoff match would be pretty good with either one.

I will say though, the brightest part of the PPV was Hogan tapping out to Angle. That made my night. I don't think I've ever seen Hogan tap, correct me if I'm wrong....
