We've gotten advance word that Sony is preparing a DVD release of NewsRadio - The Complete Series on DVD, collecting all 5 seasons on 12 discs into one big package. The release is tentatively planned for October 28th, at a cost of $59.95 SRP. It will be the exact same content as the previous individual season sets, just compiled into one place. As you see, we've got a small, early look at the cover art to the left. Word is that the packaging will be the same as the type Sony used with their recent releases of Soap and What's Happening!! complete series packages. Stay tuned for updates.

 

As I've already purchased all the previous season releases, I'll pass. Too bad they couldn't dig up any unreleased footage, because I'd probably think about springing for it if they did.

Wait, there's a What's Happening!! complete series package? I'll have to look into this.

 

Anyone who skipped the initial releases, I suggest picking this up. Excellent times ahead.
