brokentusk16 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2008 I've heard that the Best of 2007 DVD is great sampling of what TNA has to offer. Would this be a good buy for a TNA newbie?
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2008 If you want the best that TNA has to offer, I would look to purchase some of the X-Division DVDs: The Best of the X-Division Vol. 1 The Best of the X-Division Vol. 2 In addition to that, I would also recommend: Phenomal: The Best of A.J. Styles History of TNA Wrestling: Year 1 If you want to see the best matches, the two X-Division and A.J. Styles DVDs are the best out there. If you want a sample of the all-around entertainment TNA has to offer, History of TNA Wrestling: Year 1 is probably the best choice. Although, TNA in '08 is vastly different compared to what TNA was in '02-'03. These matches are included on the History of TNA Wrestling DVD: A.J. Styles vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Low Ki vs. Psicosis A.J. Styles vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Low Ki (Ladder match) America's Most Wanted vs. The New Church Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven -In TNA's history, all four of those matches are regarded as some of the best the promotion has ever had. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2008 The Joe DVD has to be good just because it covers his badass X division run. The best of 07 DVD does have the Harris vs. Storm match from Sacrifice that I can't say enough good things about. They literally (IMO anyway) rebounded from the worst match of the year in wrestling (the blindfold cage match at Lockdown) to have the best match in TNA that year. It's a hell of a fun match.
