Guest Ram Report post Posted June 28, 2002 You'd probably get him beating up an Osama bin Laden lookalike. Then half the crowd would go find something else to do, leaving everybody else feeling uncomfortable. AH.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 28, 2002 nah. i'd let him come down and kick the crap out of my fellow countrymen storm, christian, and test. TOUGH GUY!!!
Guest BobbyBacklund Report post Posted June 29, 2002 He was involved in one of the best overall matches in the 1980s, including Japan. Great match with Dibiase. I used to think he was shit too, because of what I had seen. But I heard comments, like Dynamite Kid praising the guy, and actually saying that Vince held him back by making him wrestle as a football player. So I decided to see what was being held back, and was pretty shocked to see Meltzer list said match in his top ten, fifteen. I thought it was some sort of typo. Needless to say, the man could GO when given a chance. It's just that we have a distorted view of the whole situation. Poor bastard.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 29, 2002 duggan still carries a good legacy in my opinion. for many years he was one of the most over and beloved wrestlers in the business. his career ended on a bit of a down note. joining team canada and being a janitor weren't exactly the best treatments for hacksaw. Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted June 30, 2002 in one of the andre/duggan matches didnt hacksaw break his 2x4 over andre? I'm not too sure about that, but I do know that Andre whacked Duggan with his 2x4 to win one of the matches by countout.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted July 5, 2002 Isn't that how the feud really got going? I seem to remember Andre choking Hacksaw ( I think I even remember blood from Duggan's mouth) and then Hacksaw reaching for his 2X4 and clobbering Andre with it..knocking him out. Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted July 5, 2002 Yeah, that was from SuperStars during what was supposed to be "Andre the Giant vs. Brian Costello". Duggan came down, because of WM4, and the event you mentioned took place.

Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted July 7, 2002 3 headbutts, BUTT squash in the corner, elbow drop, Almost sound as bad as some of the poor guy's matches from 1989. Clothesline, clothesline, clothesline, pin.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted July 10, 2002 Duggan's website is worth going to just for the music on the home page.Yes it has nothing to do with anything else in the thread but....
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted July 10, 2002 3 headbutts, BUTT squash in the corner, elbow drop, good night, match over, drive home safely. i think you underestimate the abilities of brian costello. PS, andre's matches from about 86 to 89 consisted of 10 or less moves on his part.
