TAG TEAM MATCH Thoth & Frost vs. Mercury & Ced Ordonez - Two veterans pairing up with two rookies. It’s good vs. evil tag style this Sunday! Send to: Suicide King POLE MATCH FOR THE LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Xero - Magnifico has been missing from action lately, but there’s no way someone just walks off still holding an SWF title! After having a nice conversation with Stubby’s pack of lawyers, Magnifico’s decided to come back for Snake Eyes and defend the title against Xero! Match Description – Regular DQ and count-out rules are not in effect. A pole (which will extend about 8 – 10 feet beyond the top rope) will be connected to one of the turnbuckles. The winner is the first man to remove the title from the pole and touch both feet to the canvas with it still in his possession. Send to: BA_Baracus 4-WAY MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE US TITLE Danny Williams vs. Tod DeKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Z - Four of the best and brightest from the JL will square off for a shot at the SWF US title. There is quite a bit of history between these 4 men, so this should be an spirited contest… Match Description – DQ and count-out rules are in effect. Send to: HVilleThugg TRIPLE THREAT US TITLE MATCH Chris Raynor © vs. Durandal vs. Jay Dawg - After being cheated out of a US title shot by Jay Dawg, Chris Raynor returned and defeated then champion, Durandal to win the strap. Send to: HVilleThugg QUADRUPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE ICTV TITLE Sacred © vs. Fallout vs. Erek Taylor vs. Longdogger Pete - Sacred and Fallout were involved in a heated feud last month and traded the ICTV title back and forth between them a couple times (most recently Sacred managed to defeat Fallout in 3/5 falls match to win the title). Erek Taylor (who has had recent run-ins with Fallout and Sacred) has not been on the best of terms with Longdogger Pete since they both returned about a week ago. This Sunday all 4 combine in what should be a barn burning, rocket busting, slobberknocking good match. Match Description – DQ and count-out rules are in effect. The first wrestler to score a pinfall, submission or knockout is the winner. Send to: Suicide King SWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Edwin MacPhisto © vs. Chris Wilson - Wilson has had his sights set on the heavyweight title since returning to the SWF and has been trying to wear the current champion, Edwin MacPhisto, down with his patented mind-games all month. Will Wilson emerge a 2-time champ this Tuesday or will Edwin hold onto his gold? Send to: BA_Baracus ------------------------------------------------------- Mothernature says, what?"
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Oh man, It's in Pittsburgh. Coooool. New guys already going for titles...the belt elevated above the ring, as always, in the LHW title match.... Go LDP and Taylor...you're ICTV level goodness gets worked in by a couple of DECENT writers... No stip?! I'm not sure to be happy or sad. Either way, I'm psyched. Tiiiiime for the PPV...
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 7 matches? 3 of them involving four people? Big roster = awesome! Stubby, can we have a 9 or 10 match Storm sometime soon, just for old times' sake? Onto the card itself: all titles except for tag are defended, and it looks good. The opening tag is a bit thrown together, and it isn't really a good v. evil tag seeing as Thoth is more tweener-face at this point, but when Wilson won on Smarkdown, I guess it kinda poofed a confrontation between the two. Of course, "thrown together" means that you have two great JLers fighting alongside two recently returned vets, so it's not so bad. It all looks pretty good--pretty low on stipulations, so the focus of this PPV is gonna be the wrestling and the angles we can pull out of it. The most surprising match to me is the ICTV four-way, and it's wicked cool to see Pete and Erek getting a shot at the belt. That's my pick for sleeper match of the night, though I don't think we can really call it a sleeper with those four involved. Good stuff. Time to start brainstorming...
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Ahem. So this means you're NOT feeding me to Edwin (since Thugg is retired) right away? w00t! w00t! w00t! I mean, I'll still lose, but in a more triumphant fashion.
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 And damn you TNT for taking my longest reign record TV Title wise. DAMN YOU TO HELL! welcome to all the bumpees, damn, the WF has instantly swelled! I gotta start on my promo series.... -Annie p.s. I mark for Erek Taylor!!!!
Guest ErekT2k Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I will Xero. I mark for Xero! *looks at card and realizes he's against ELM* Nevermind. I like ELM more. WHOOO! GO ESPANOLA LUCHADORES!! I also mark for Annie when she comes back. Just a note.
Guest midnight_burn Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Me like card lots, sure to be great matches from top to bottom. A Hardcore Title defence against Ash for the second PPV in a row, should be fun.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Argh... Not cool, Stubbster, not cool... Looks like a great card otherwise.
Guest redbaron51 Posted June 28, 2002 Report Posted June 28, 2002 Stubbs get props since he's using MOTORHEAD as a theme song!
Guest midnight_burn Posted June 29, 2002 Report Posted June 29, 2002 Hmmm, should i perhaps start writing my match sometime soon? Nah.
