Wrestlers Upset With Rvd!

This either is a work or the politics are getting out of hand in the weewee, as everybody has notice RVD has changed his style compared to the way he used to wrestle in ECW. He has improved his wrestling skills and he hasn't busted anyone open since last year, all those jealous jobbers and paranoid main eventers should just get the f*** out because if they keep on using their power backstage to hold RVD back, pretty soon the company will closed down and they'll be back working in the indies or japan were they'll stiff you whether they like it or not.

I refuse to even get into this Hurricane/RVD debate. Some things are too retarded to respond to.

Now, who exactly are these guys RVD has injured? Last year he busted some people open. He didn't break arms, or legs, or a neck.

Hurricane has one of the best movesets in the WWF, but the problem he isn't very good at pacing, psychology, or building a good dramatic story. But than again, is ANYBODY in the WWF?

I'd have to say..Eddy..but that's me.

If not him, then Booker T.......

He's black, therefore JR will veto a push, which is sorta sad because

-Austin likes/liked him

-Nash likes him

X-Pac likes him

Eddie and Benoit are the only two people in the WWE who seem to be able to get something outside of the WWE style. Maybe Mysterio will change that.

This is just so infuriating for me, everything!!!! I've honestly not heard any good WWE news for a loooong time, and im beginning to lose hope.

Helms is one of the best wrestlers in the WWF period...its just hard to have pacing and such in a 3-5 minute match. (of course he does get a whole 8 minutes everyonce and a while). And I don't just mean he is good in moveset wise, he can sell like a mo-fo, he has great timing, he can really get the crowd eating out of his hand with little stuff like knowing how to kick out at 2.9999999999(a lost art today if you ask me). The guy can make almost anyone look good.

I've never noticed anything racist about JR either. where the frick did that come from.

I've never seen a great Helms match. Could someone offer me some examples? Bare in mind my only exposure to Helms is from the WWE, not WCW or his Indy work

Well, that would make some semblace of sence if JR was (or ever was) a writer for the show. JR hires'em, the writing team screws them up. That article, while eventually it did get off the subject completely and accidentally fell into some good points, was total crap.

you guys are right on, certain "unnamed parties" (and by "unnamed" I mean you can already guess thier names without even hearing them)

If that isn't the Smarks' Motto, I don't know what is

Yup, I mean honestly, if the internet sheets can actually connect something in the slightest to Triple H or Nash, they do it without pause. They don't do this unnamed sources stuff for them. Anyway, how can Triple H or Nash complain about RVD being stiff when he hasn't worked with either of them?

Jesus, since the story came out just now, you would think you'd want to look at the guys he's faced recently for the first time like Brock or Eddie instead of guys not wrestling or not on the same show.

I've said it before:

RVD is the biggest threat to EVERYONE in the WWE.

Not a threat to injure mind you...but a threat to become the next true superstar in the company.

No one...NO ONE on the roster has a better chance of taking Austin's spot with the fans.

NO ONE.

He's always involved in the Match of the night.

I've never heard him complain about anything other than wanting longer matches.

He has been one of the most over people in the company for a full year.

Can anyone else say that?

Austin? Don't see him anywhere...

Rock? Gone for a large part of the year...

Angle? NO! A failed face push and a short struggle to regain his heel heat.

Booker T? just now getting over again after his near immediate burial last year.

HHH? HA! even if we just count the time he was healthy (you know...those 4 months that only felt like an entire year) the answer is a resounding NO.

Taker? Isn't he a heel? wouldn't know it.

Jericho has been pretty over for the whole year as a face and heel...but the pre mania buildup killed his heat at that time.

Even the damn Hardys who are always over lost all their heat during their stupid feud last December.

With so much tv time and 12 ppvs a year...injuries and pushes/depushes...bad angles/no angles...and so on... I think the fact that RVD has remained over for the entire year is a big enough sign that he is a threat.

Therefore, he'll be jobbing to Lesnar until he has no heat and is no longer a threat. Bah.

Yes and no.

Yes he will be used to put Brock over.

But as you'll notice...when the chips are down...RVD main events RAW.

Alliance angle bombs? RVD beats all the top stars.

Need something to do until HHH returns? RVD programs with Jericho over the belt.

Ratings bombing? RVD vs. Eddy ladder match.

Austin walks out? RVD (now the top face on the show) and Brock in the Main.

See...on tv they love him...and put him where he can best help.

But something is standing in the way of him getting back into the final match of the ppv.

I don't buy the injury excuse AT ALL.

He main evented No Mercy and Survivor Series...BACK WHEN HE ACTUALLY WAS HURTING PEOPLE!!!!!!

Haven't heard one report of him hurting anyone since...but now hes "too dangerous" to main event?

Sounds like he's too over for some people to me.

The future I see for RVD is similar to HBK's.

RVD will eventually ascend to the top, perhaps at WM19.

He'll have a good run of matches where he will look like the star he is.

And no one will be watching cause the product will be FUBAR.

Just like HBK in '96.

That is the future I see for RVD, unfortunately.

I think I agree with Dangerous A...except RVDs title reign will come in mid to late 2003 IMO.

Guest cabbageboy

Hell, if they wait that long to give him the title he might not actually have any heat.

For joshico, any pairing of Helms, Moore, and one of the Hardys in Omega was awesome. I'm very reluctant to give out four stars as I haven't done so in the last two or three years for the WWE, but they had (I think) two different tag matches that come in around ****1/2-1/4 range. That's why, despite alot of degradation, I pimp the Hardys, especially Matt. They also had a great run, the Hardys, in the Super 8 1997.
