Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 Awesome. Love seeing horror movies (that don't suck) take #1. Nice to see Taken still doing well. Got sick of seeing the damn Shopaholic commercials, I imagine this was an underwhelming number for the movie. And the International just looks too generic. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 The problem with The International is that the trailer makes it clear this is an Evil Bank that is killing people. With all the trouble going on with the economy who wants to see a movie with a premise like that? Wow, Taken is doing tremendous business. A 6% drop off is a great number for a movie that has been out 3 weeks now.
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 So Batman 3 can beat Titanic if Ra's al Guhl returns and asks Batman to help him track down his daughter, Talia, who has been kidnapped by sex traffickers.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 Paul Blart went UP 7.5%? I guess we know what the movie of choice was for pedophiles and their girlfriends on Valentines Day.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 Suprised to see "Friday the 13th" did that well, though the theatre I saw it in was incredibly packed. Wish "Coraline" was doing better.
