Gimmick Matches in the WWF

I don't think he'll ever see an Iron Man match again in the WWF. Only a few guys could work one right now, I think, and do it well. Angle and Benoit could do it, I think....then again, that won't happen.

 

Four Corner Strap Matches...no reason to believe they'll be back.

Haven't seen a good strap match in WWE for a while. Also one of the gimmick matches WCW had which I think would work in WWE is where wrestlers are picked out of a hat and forced to tag team against another team with the winners from each match facing off in a battle royal. Think it was called Battle Bowl but not sure and I remember seeing one where Muta won it all.

 

Havent seen midget wrestling in WWE for a while, unless you count Crash v Tazz!!!

Don't ever forget the Casket Matches...

 

I still remember being traumatized as a child when that FUCKIN UNDERTAKER put my favorite ULTIMATE WARRIOR~! in the casket. I almost freakin cried reading that Raw Magazine. At such a tender, tender age.

 

And to this day Undertaker still buries my favorite wrestler, NO MATTER WHICH ONE IT WAS AT THE TIME. First warrior, then Michaels, and now Jericho. Fat bastard.

I'd say we'd never see Cage of Death in the E, but a steel cage with a scaffold on top, with weapons inside, really isn't that far fetched of an idea for the E to do.

I am sure we will see another Iron Man match. I think that there are plenty of guys capable of having one. Angle, HHH, Jericho, Edge...

 

I'd like to see RVD in an Iron Man match, just to see what he would do in that kind of environment (60 minutes instead of 10-15), and whether or not he could pull it off.

I don't think we'll ever see a triple cage match, which kinda sucks. I'm sure the triple cage was included in the purchase of WCW. They might as well use it.

 

We probably won't see a barb wire match, Stairway to Hell, or one of those Japanese multiple-adjective deathmatches.

Hey, Hardy/Taker could easily become that. I mean, Ladder match is Jeff's match, and HIAC is Taker's match.

 

It would make sense, but it won't happen.

Yeah, Taker would take a dump in his pants also trying to climb the ladder way up there!
