Well only two matches are missing and in that's good enough for moi, so I went ahead and posted the show. Booking thread to be up in a bit, and I'll have feedback later also.

Big show opening as you’d expect for an event like AM. I haven’t seen the Star Trek trailer, but when I read the hot rod part Zack immediately popped into mind.

 

Blonde vs. Cortez: Fun opener. But I think KC saw the AM predictions thread and changed the finish to swerve everybody!

$50,000 AM Payday Tag Gauntlet: KC did an excellent job with his half. Los Diablos were great, and the camel clutch comment was gold.

 

Celebrity sighting at AM, but more importantly a special appearance from MISTER Warrior! And I’d get a PS3 for a LOAM game.

 

Morgan vs. Jade: Talk about an upset. I gave Morgan 0 chance of winning, this being her first major match and all. And what a match it was. My early MOTN.

 

We get our ESPN moment next with Peyton Manning knocking out TK. Smart of him to hit with his non-throwing hand.

 

Vinny Valentine is getting some major face time. The whole segment with him, the Burroughs Boys, cousin Tony and COD was beyond awesome. It had me LMAO.

 

On a related note, Glock Lesnar should become Alix’s alter ego.

 

Mr. Dick vs. Krista: Patty really put over MD strong. Krista took an ass-kicking at the end there. Her Andre the Giant-esque undefeated streak no more. But at least she got a happy ending (not that kind).

 

Alf vs. Reject: Alf made a trip home defeating the man who led the coup to oust him as DA leader.

 

MOTN: Morgan vs. Jade Rodez-Duncan and MD vs. Krista (it’s AM, I can pick two!)

-CORTEZ VS BLONDE-

 

Lately James Blonde has been the most entertaining he's been since the one show I made him a futuristic cowboy from outer space. His obsessive stanning of Landon is too hilarious for words. Good match here, I thought for sure Maddix would swerve on Blonde or Cortez at some point, but he called it right down the middle. Interesting to see the man who always has a plan get played by his two henchmen.

 

-TAG GUANTLET-

 

Tony and KC came correct on this piece. The first "match" between CAE/and THR was really exciting, I always like it when these dudes hook up. CAE are probably THR's greatest rivals outside of Ned and Simon. LOL, poor O'Hara, the SpongeBob World Order does not approve of this epic fail. Good to see D*LUX back tagging, the Paula Abdul chant was worthy. I can't tell if it was meant to rally the former American idol winners or piss off Synth! The white castle bit with Esther and the gang was pretty funny to. I could go through every fall here, but I'll just sum it up real nice and short and say this match was a joy to read! I should also note Tony and KC have really done a lot of The last kings of scotland lately, they're becoming a nice little lower midcard heel team. Always helpful to have strong challengers. But I gotta apologize to tony for spoiling the OCC appearance with the match graphic, I messed up because I thought they were known entrants.

-MORGAN VS JADE-

AHAHAHAAHHAHA fooled you all! Made you look, now you a slave to a page in my rhyme book. THEY SHOOOOOOOOTIN! I've been trying to work Morgan in since Maggie debuted actually. But Molly, Melissa, and Malaysia all fit better. Good things come to those who wait!

 

I felt bad ThunderKid didn't get on the card and Mister Dick and Reject did, so this was my way of making up for that.

-TAG TITLE MATCH-

 

My nigga Tony did it again! He called this one of the best matches he's ever written and I'm inclined to agree. From start to finish this one hell of a match. It really had an "Anglemania" feel. Lots of cool spots in this bout. Too many to even list for lazy people like me. But between this and the tag gauntlet, Tony is one of the 3 stars of Anglemania VIII! Both teams came off looking excellent, and hopefully we'll have some more rematches between them in the future. And Tony even worked in my gif, yay! LOL at Cole demanding 2 referees for tag matches. SMH, niggas can't even manage two extra people these days.

 

-Krista Vs MD-

FOOLED YOU PEOPLE ONCE AGAIN! I KNOW EVERYTHING, AND YOU KNOW NOTHING! AHAHAHAHAAHAH!

 

-ALF Vs REJECT-

Hopefully the first of many more matches to come between these two rivals. A good co-mainevent and a nice start to what's sure to be longer battle between them. I liked that ending quite a bit, and I definitely didn't expect Reject to tap out. Hell, I didn't even think he'd lose. I thought for sure Alf was gonna tap out to that R-LOCK, but damn it I got tricked and shit. Nice stuff

 

As a bonus here's Mario Logan's predictions of Anglemania futures from the year 2003

 

AM III- The Epic showdown. Anglesault vs. the Largest creature in the OAOAST

Anglesault vs. Agnes' Losing streak

 

AM IV- Some tournament, I think efDDT wins the title, he and Sault become best friends.

 

AM V- The Angle powers explode.

 

AM VI- The Ultimate Challenge:

Aglesault vs. Anges. Agnes wins, Sault cries, everyone comes out to console him. Mario has John Tenta sit on Sault, leading to a long feud. Meanwhile, Agnes squashes everyone.

 

AM VII- The United states goes to war with Canada, and the OAOAST capitalizes on it. CWM vows to take over the OAOAST on behalf of Canada, but Sault squashes him.

 

AM VIII- Double Main event.

1. Mario claims to have had an afffair with efDDT's wife, and they fued. Despite constant Dungeon interference, efDDT finaly beats Me.

2. Sault retires for the first time, he fights Jingus, and the Dungeon runs in, Agnes sends everyone out.

 

AM IX- Zack vs. Some fat guy. Zack loses, Sault comes out and steals the title.

 

All of the established guys leave to the rival company. Mario reforms the Dungeon, Sault reforms the aWo. Backstage, Mario feuds with Vince Russo.

 

AM XI- BPP jobs to Lawrence Taylor.

 

The rival company goes out of bussiness and everyone returns, but are mocked by smartmarks for being old.

 

AM XVII- Some battle royale featuring Dungeon of Doom members. Other participants include BigMcLargeHuge, Greenmist, Luigi, Bowser, Tony, and other former OAOAST guys.

 

AM XIX- Who made the OAOAST? Anglesault vs. CWM.

0-8 on the predictions. Obv.Zack needs to fight Jumbo next year to turn this thing around.

Alf needs to repackage Jumbo in some kind of Akeem inspired gimmick. A jive talking genie who comes out to "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera to put a OAOAST spin on it!

 

In all seriousness, I wouldn't mind a Zack-Deuce Deuce Bigelow AM match. Put the Franchise in there with a big guy who can go. Mario's AM VII idea could've been fun IMO.

 

Looking back I'm surprised we never did AS vs. AP at AM. Then again, 'Sault was pretty much gone after a year IIRC.
