Masked Heel 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 With his Legacy leader once again holding the WWE Championship, Ted DiBiase turns his attention to another titleholder in Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Carlito. The "Priceless" Superstar battles The San Juan Southpaw on "WWE Superstars." Evan Bourne meets Paul Burchill in the squared circle once again after Tiffany put the rematch in place on ECW this past Tuesday. Gail Kim & Maria take on Michelle McCool & Alicia Fox in an all-SmackDown Divas Tag Team Match. Find out what happens when they meet on "WWE Superstars" at 8/5 PT on WGN America. What will happen as WWE continues its Thursday night show? Will this be the start of the epic Priceless v Colon Bros fued? Will Burchill continue to put up tough fights then lose while his sister stands outside not doing much?(girl should watch some Sherri Martell tapes) Speaking of great female wrestlers theres that tag match eh nevermind we'll move on. Will anybody at TSM care or post? Find out tonight or within the next couple of days!!
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 So they're continuing with the theme of having one match from each brand and resisting the temptation to make Superstars a any brand/any match show. Shame, as the temptation for Khali vs Beth Phoenix was high for me.
Masked Heel 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 They sure arn't giving us any name stars this week. Two of the three matches has potential to be good but still, maybe we'll get a Cena interview from a remote location or Randy Orton hyping up the match with Shane for next Monday
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Maybe the honeymoon period is over? You'd have thought they'd use ALL the big guys at least one time each just to stretch the star power out.. Like have one main guy wrestle every week. Orton one week, Batista the next, Michaels the week after that and then Chris Jericho the week after that. You could easily fill out three or four months without using the same guy more than two times.
Masked Heel 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Ya but that would require planning and setting things up for 3-4 months in advance and in the WWE we just don't do that
jericho4life 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 I like the format - giving some different guys extended match time. I mean, this Bourne/Burchill match has *gasp* psychology.

TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Rather bland Superstars this week. Even the Bourne match wasn't enthralling. Would have been nice if they made this event that little more special by putting the tag-titles on the line, unless this result is leading us to have Colons/Priceless on PPV. RedJed 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Yeah, its already week three and this show has completely gone dull on me. I still have hope it will just turn into the workrate hour and have really excellent matches for guys begging to get airtime on TV more than anything. Starpower isn't going to ever drive this show, as the network probably isn't cleared in enough homes for them to justify putting their big stars on here and not keep them focused on their main brands show every week.
