Scott Keith thinks Hardy may win the title Monday

Somebody earlier suggested that Taker will survive the ladder match but tap to Angle on Thursday cos he is injured.

This would make the most sense as Angle would look amazing, making Hogan and Taker tap out.

Taker would be jobbing to the future of the WWE and he can go into a final run as Face.

Jeff Hardy winning the title just does not sit well with me.

It would be like a Bret thing, but Bret was far more beliveable in the ring against other main eventers and Bret had lengthy IC title reigns.

Jeff has done nothing outside of the Tag Division.

The thing is, Jeff needs to win once. UT has beat him every time, and they have made Jeff look like the underdog. Somehow, Jeff has to win, whether it be actually winning the belt, or getting the belt but getting screwed out of it.

Ya know, I wouldn't have such a problem with a Jeff Hardy hotshot win on Raw were it not for the fact there have been so many goddamn title changes this year. If the champs were still champs for months at a time, I would not object to a title change in this fashion, as long as it didn't happen more than once a year.

Am I the only one that hates, F'N HATES when they do a phantom title win? I find that to be nothing more than a cheap, raise of emotion from the fans, and if you ask me, it pisses people off more than actually making people want to watch more. I'd rather Jeff just WIN the damn title instead of them PRETENDING that he wins it.

How the Hell doesn't Angle deserve it? Angle has the best matches almost every time on the cards. Hell, even in the marks eyes, Angle just beat Hulk Hogan CLEAN. That right there should mean he deserves it.

I agree 100% that if anyone at all in WWE deserves the Undisputed World Title, it is none other than Kurt Angle. He is the total package, he has it all, he is a pot-o-gold that WWE is lucky as hell to have ever came across. Kurt Angle, not Brock Lesnar, RVD, etc... is the future of Pro. Wrestling. Anyhow...

 

...I asked that about Bret, because for the past while every time I've seen Kurt Angle, I see the beginings of the next Bret Hart. He has the smirk, can be damn intense on the mic, and is an all around damn good wrestler and continuously puts out the best matches on WWE TV. Call me crazy, but I think Kurt has plenty in commen with The Hitman. Kurt Angle is the future, and it's a damn shame he's planning on leaving at the end of the year.

Theres no freaking way that Vince gives away 2 WWE Undisputed Title changes away on Free TV in the course of one week, even if he is trying to pop ratings. The way I see it, Taker barely beats Jeff Hardy and then loses to Angle cause its the 4th of July and Vince is worried about getting ZERO ratings (4th of July Specials, People going out to see fireworks, picnics..etc..) Vince would be smarter to air it on Wednesday..

The reason fopr the Hardy/Taker match, I feel, is to get Matt Hardy to turn on Jeff, thankx to Raven's flock scheme coming into play, and as a thankx, Taker gets Vince to bring back Raven to Raw, where the flock can run at full speed soon afterwards.

Jeff Hardy CANNOT win that belt...I was there in Philly when Hardy beat HHH for the IC belt. People popped because HHH was a total dick heel who everyone knew would KILL Hardy, then Hardy got his tainted win and the people were friggin shocked. Not happy, just shocked. Sure the 13 year old girls in front of me were happy. I personally just couldn't believe my eyes.

 

It seems many people think it is a good idea in this thread for Hardy to win...but I suspect you'll be the same people bitching in the RAW Thread Monday night, if Hardy actually does win.

To clarify my earlier statement, I do NOT think Jeff Hardy winning the belt on Monday is a good idea. I can accept a meaningless title change if it only happens once in a dog's age--it gives the impression that a belt can change hands at anytime, which is a good thing, as long as it isn't overdone. It's been overdone this year, obviously, therefore I am 100% against a Hardy win on Raw. The next person to hold the belt should have it for a very long time, and that person ain't Jeff.

Hrmm.... I just had an idea popped in mind that, on Raw, Jeff will get up the ladder, grab the belt, fall down... and all the long the referee was destracted somehow. Thus giving Taker the opportunity to run over to Jeff, grab the belt out of his hands, and then the ref turns around, sees the belt in Taker's hands and awards him the match. Bingo, a way not to kill all of Jeff's heat in this feud and make him look like a total job-boy.

How about this: Jeff grabs the belt & jumps off, but UT catches him & yanks the belt out of his hands. Since his feet won't touch the ground, he technically doesn't win. Crowd pops because they think Jeff won, but UT keeps the title & doesn't have to worry about climbing the ladder.

Plus it would be a nice little spot.
