Hmm...well, I don't buy Scott's theory simply because all signs point to Rock winning the title off Taker at Vengeance, and then defending the title against Brock at SummerSlam.

 

Do I agree with hot-shotting the title onto Jeff? Hell no. I think that he is one of the most overrated performers in the history of the business. Take away the tables and ladders and chairs and suicidal leaps, and he is horribly exposed. His brother Matt, IMO, has 10x more talent than he ever will. Plus, Jeff is only over with the female contingent. There is a reason that they never put the NWA title on Ricky Morton.

im sorry but whats the point of putting it on angle? it'd be just another undisputed title change, bringing even less credibility to the belt thats changed hands way too many times already. i can understand the reasoning of having angle in all the main events if he had the belt, but he doesn't need to be the focal point of the company at this point, unless it leads to him putting over booker or RVD before he leaves. hell, if they put it on him and keep it on him til he leaves, i'd be happy just to see it around someones waist for a long time believably. but if angle gets the belt, pending no loss of the #1 contendership we have brock vs. angle, and i think its too early to do that. wait til angle goes to the olympics and comes back, during wich brock will have time to develop into something the fans care about, and angle can come back and either gloat about winning another medal or lesnar can say angle embarassed the country or something. they have to play up their amature backgrounds against each other, and with brock wrestling his current power style its just not the proper time. hell, are we all forgeting about the rock? vinny knows that he=ratings and he has beef with taker. plus its about the only way anyone would care about a feud with brock. plus, angle and brock are both heels. and the proposed angle tweener thing wouldnt get over, people love chanting you suck at him.

I would put it on Angle before I would the Rock. They cannot just put the title on the Rock after him being gone for months. If he's not going to be in the WWE full time, he shouldn't touch the title. Angle might not leave for the Olympics if he gets a decent push, whereas Rock will make movies regardless.

I think Jeff deserves a short title reign for all the hard work, and the wear and tear he's put on his body for the company.

 

I think there's a chance of this happening with russo hired now, since he liked to change champions every show too

I don't think that someone should get the title as a reward for hard work. They should get it because they are right for the title at the time. Having Jeff winning the title would make the title seem easy to get, IMO.

I think Hogan has already made the title seem easy to get, it doesn't look like he can hurt anyone. If Jeff takes some insane bumps in that match, and wins the title, I don't think many will complain
