I do know one that I absolutely hated... the Warior-Savage title match at SummerSlam 92. It was terrible.

 

Talk about Vince recycling ideas over and over again. And I'm pretty sure he did it all so that he wouldn't have to put Ric Flair over anyone.

Warrior vs Savage (Mania7)

Warrior vs Savage (Summerslam 92) Not that bad really, by Warrior standards anyway.

Warrior vs Rick Rude (Summerslam 89) More heat than a non Rock WWE title match could manage these days.

 

Savage and Rude were the only wrestlers to get anything really worthwhile out of him match quality wise.

The match lasted 50 seconds.

I never saw a non-clipped version of the Savage match, but it was pretty good.

 

My all time favorite Warrior moment...Vs Issac Yankem in 96...

the match vs. savage from wrestlemania gets my vote easily. it the one of the best matches of all time and that was the only match that gets the warrior on that list.

Warrior vs. Rude at Wrestlemania 5 is far and away my favorite Warrior match.

 

First of all, Warrior and Rude matched up perfectly in their styles. There feud was based on the simple premise of who had the better physique but always managed to be very entertaining.

 

Secondly, Warrior does the job. I saw a website a couple weeks ago that that listed the results of all of Warrior's matches in the WWF. The guy jobbed probably less than 10 times combined during all 3 of his runs so seeing Warrior job was definitely a plus.

 

Finally, the ending where Heenan hooked Warrior's leg while he was suplexing Rude into the ring was one of the classic endings to a WWF match of that era.

 

This is the only match between the two that I've seen so I can't compare it to their other matches but I definitely found it more entertaining than Warrior vs. Hogan or Warrior vs. Savage.

the wrestlemania 5 match would probably get my second vite. i always loved this match much more than their summerslam match, mainly because rude got the title and heenan helped him to cheat. actually come to think of it the warrior usually does all right in wrestlemania's. in 4 he beat hercules in a crap match. 5 was good enough versus rude. he won the title at 6 from hogan in a match that a lot of people call his best but i wouldn't and at 7 he beat savage in the career match. at least wrestlemania could get one good match out of the warrior per year.

Warrior and Ted Dibiase had a good match on SNME once when Warrior was Champ. Dibiase basically controlled most of the match, which is probably the reason it was as good as it was. It wasn't as good as as Warrior v. Savage WM7 but it was good .

1). WrestleMania VII Vs Macho King Randy Savage (Great match overshadowed by teary reunion)

2). WrestleMania VI Vs Hulk Hogan (Hogan jobbing clean was worth it alone but along with the Feeling of freshness and an actual consise flow made it good)

3). WrestleMania V Vs Rick Rude (Although Rude's hair was out of whack, it was still a good contest)

4). SummerSlam 1990 Vs Rick Rude (Cage Match) (Call me crazy but I kinda dug this match)

5). SummerSlam 1992 Vs Randy Savage (Mainly the Flair/Perfect drama made it good)

why the wcw had to make hogan use a fireball in that match is beyond me? seriously when had hulk hogan, or even hollywood hogan used that kind of shit during match? hogan probably had no idea how to light that fireball off and wcw probably didn't care to tell.

 

if i were wcw back then and i had hogan/warrior 2 live on ppv i would have planned that match out to the final second. gone through the fireball lighting with hogan to make sure he gets it right. my point is that wcw should have put forth the effort to at least try to make this match good.
