They Wouldn't Dare...

Please reassure me that they aren't even THINKING of putting the world title on Jeff Hardy? I just have this horrible feeling that Jeff will finally get his revenge on Taker, and I can't see how Undertaker is going to haul his fat ass up a ladder. Please, please, please tell me that WWE champion Jeff Hardy is out of the question.

I pray they don't give it to Jeff, but I also don't see Taker getting up that ladder, maybe about 5 years ago, but definitely not now.

If Jeff Hardy gets the Undisputed Title before RVD does I'm going to fly down to wherever RAW is next week and personally stick my foot up Vince McMahon's ass.

If Jeff Hardy wins the Undisputed title AT ALL, I will fly down to wherever the hell they are and stick my foot up Vince's ass. I would do it to Hardy too, but he might like that.

I'm thinking someone is going to cost Hardy the match which will lead to a feud of MTV's Heat caliber (Matt Hardy perhaps??)

At least I can only HOPE that happens

That still doesn't answer the "How the hell will Taker climb up the ladder" question? I'm thinking they just kind of have the belt fall and let Taker pick it up.

Maybe whoever raised the briefcase will lower the belt.

I dont see Jeff Hardy winning the Title. I just don't. Im sorry. Not in a million years...

Lower it to where? Taker's knees?

You're being stupid. There's no way he could bend over and pick it up.

Perhaps Raven will get involved.

Undertaker could rehash his old character and cause the belt to come down on its own using his magical telekenetic powers. Or the other way around, as he could magically float up to the belt and grab it instead of using the ladder.

I thought Only Kane could move things. Taker shot lightning.

Even though this match will likely be the Worst Ladder Match of All Time, it should be entertaining--in the most counterproductive way possible--to see Taker's feeble, arthritic bones haul himself up that ladder.

Either that, or a giant black hole will open up in the arena, mercy killing everyone that will be involved with this abortion.

I think the paranoia is getting to you, my friend. Don't get ahead of yourself. Jeff isn't going to touch the belt (well maybe in the match a couple of times). I know, you felt a sudden shudder when the match was announced (so did I), but I'm sure that Vince hasn't completely gone off the deep end..............did he??

*After Raven DDTS Jeff on a chair*

Raven: C'mon, get up the ladder!

UT: I don't wanna!

Raven: Here, I'll hold the ladder, now go!

*Raven holds the ladder tightly with his hands, as Taker goes up the ladder, making sure to have both feet on a step before moving one higher. He stops halfway up.*

Raven: What's your problem?!

UT: There's this writing above the top step of the ladder that says, "Not a Step." I'm scared.

Raven: Do I have to bring a Friggin' Sharpee up there to black out the warning?! Get up there or I'll take you out, then climb the ladder and declare myself the champion!!

*UT screams to the thought of elevating new talent and scurries up the ladder. He leaps off and grabs the belt, before hitting the mat oddly and shattering his leg in 10 pieces.*

I dont think this is gonna be a good match, but since its for the title, I think they should at least give it the main event and the extra 8 or 9 minutes. Ladder matches are usually at least a bit exciting, and Jeff Hardy should supply at least 2 or 3 ladder spots to help the match out. Lets just hope that they get a decent ladder this time.

I wish somebody had told Goldberg and Scott Hall that.

And I personally HATED that RVD/Hardy ladder match (Preference, I guess) so this REALLY isn't looking good.

I agree with AustinHHH4life. There is no way in hell Jeff Hardy will become the WWE champion. This is purely paranoia. Hell, he shouldn't even get the I-C title back or any other singles title as far as I'm concerned.

I think Hardy will grab the belt, but he won't win.

I see the ref taking a bump, Hardy grabs the belt but the ref is down. Taker hits the Last Ride, ref wakes up, sees UT with the belt and gives him the win.

I think they'll use the finish to the Nash/Sid Powerbomb match from Starrcade '99.

This will be the first time in WWF history that when someone is taking forever to climb up a ladder you will know that he isn't stalling and it is actually taking that long for the Undertaker to climb up the ladder.

I got the finish!

Ref Bump and Taker is down!

Jeff Hardy climbs the ladder and gets the belt, thinks hes won and so he starts to celebrate. Crowd doesn't cause they've seen this before..

Taker gets up, looks around, looks pissed, grabs Jeffy, gives him the Last Ride, and takes the belt just as the Ref miraculously wakes up..

Your winner and still Undisputed Champion, bah GAWD, The Undertaker!

Thats how its gonna happen...I almost guarantee it..

I didn't see Tony's take on this before I originally posted this, so I guess it was kinda obvious..

I disagree. They should not even TEASE Hardy winning ANY singles title, much less the World title.

That has to be it. Either that, or the belt is so low that taker has to kind of hop to get it.

I predict the closest Jeff will get is he'll swing from the belt while it's hanging, like at inVasion.

Raw is live, right? It's a sick thought, but what if Jeff, while swinging from the belt, accidentally unhooks it? I'd love to see them try to get out of that mess.

Hey, if Big Boss Man can be in a ladder match and win, so can UT.

well, if he accidentally were to unhook it, I bet he'd drop it so that Taker could pick it up before he gets up after the fall. They'd probably let that go, probably by lawler saying something like "possession is 9/10 of the law" and this would only give Jeffy another excuse to want another match with Taker.

Just have him drop it and have UT knock him out and pick it up.
