But Not A Ladies "What was that?"

WCW Smackdown is FULL Of Suprises...

Christian and Orlando Jordan vs. Booker T (w/Sharmell) and Chris Benoit

** stars. Orlando should not have the title.

Animal and Heidenreich (Dumb GAB booking decision #2) vs. Chris Hammrick & Chuck Sealy

I rember Hammrick from XPW and CZW... But squash and dud.

Melina (w/Jillian) vs. Torrie Wilson (w/Candace Michelle)

**RANT**UPN are full of gay people. No, I agrreed with them about Arab issue with Hassan, but seriously, Viacom outside of Spike TV and Nick are GAY, GAY, GAY. Please come out of the closet Mr Moonves, the asian girl trick aint working. You mean to tell me you can censor stumak turing shit like that thing on the Transexual Jillans face, but here comes the Censors on Melina's CR..ACK-OH! (Big Joe refrence) but then have a ad promoting summerslam with the diva's SANS Melina. A-FUCKING MAZING. No person in there right minds would PUT Veronica Mars OVER on CBS, over Enterprise. But you know what, Viacom SUCKS- And Spike TV along with Nick has so far excaped there suckyness. So keep blurring out nice, femine asses for all us breeders, ok faggots? ***RANT OVER***

William Regal vs. Scotty 2 Hotty

NO Match. Mexicools are too cool to have one (but they did pretty damn well against Mistero)

JBL (w/Orlando Jordan) vs. The Undertaker (#1 Contender’s match)

I have to give this a * star. I am sorry, here comes my second rant of the day

**RANT** you would THINK that a champion would have to PIN SOMEBODY! NOBODY has PINNED JBL outside of The Blue Meanie in the last year and a half. That is BULLSHIT on the highest order. You mean the Blue Meanie is better than Booker T, John Cena (he made him quit in the best match of there careers tho), Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Bastisa etc? At least a Heel Top Lion would PIN for a win without interferrance. He still is falling on the wedge of the arm for his Lariats, which with his hips damaged, makes it even MUCH more weaker than before. EVEN TORRIE WILSON can get the Lariat CORRECTLY! And that utter bullshit because she doesnt even have a great moveset. I dont understand why the WWE still puts over JBL as some Stan Hanson- where Stan was motherfucking powerhouse. When he fased off Misawa back in 1993, Stan could NOT take the Tiger Drivers, but Misawa knew he was SO DANGEROUS. Stan could KNOCK the EYE SOCKET of one of the TOUGHEST Compedters in the game Vader. JBL will NEVER be in the League of that type of warrior so stop booking him as such. **RANT OVER**

Well Raw won this week. It had better storylines. As soon as TNA gets on Spike TV, I will reviewing that as well... Smackdowns long time review Peter Koaska is leaving for RAW starting august.

Here is some Brand News...

Y2J not going anywhere

July 28, 2005

Chris Jericho wants to set the record straight.

With various outside sources reporting that Jericho has yet to sign a contract extension with WWE, the former undisputed champion made sure to contact WWE.com and denounce those reports.

“I signed an extension on Monday in Cleveland at Gund Arena,” Jericho said. “I’ve been working with WWE for six years and I’m not going anywhere.”

Jericho, who didn’t want to disclose specifics regarding the contract, signed a short-term extension this week and said a longer extension is likely still in the works. Jericho still has big plans for his band Fozzy, but doesn’t expect his musical career to interfere with his job as a wrestler.

“Fozzy isn’t a factor at all,” Jericho said. “Things with the band are going great and WWE has been really positive with Fozzy. We have some great opportunities overseas with the band, but none of that is going to hinder my time with WWE.”

“I’m still an employee of WWE,” Jericho said. “My contract had expired but I’m back and looking toward the future.”

Numerous sources have confirmed that both Jamie Knoble and Spanky are heading back to World Wrestling Entertainment. Knoble (who has been working as James Gibson on the independent scene) was at WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT yesterday. Neither have been given a start date with the company and it is expected they will be given the opportunity to finish out their independent commitments.

Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan are two of the most famous names in WWE history. Up until now, their paths have never really crossed. Hulkamania was born in 1984 and was running wild in WWE through the early 1990s. Once Hogan left for WCW, HBK began his rise to dominance in the singles ranks, accumulating one of the most impressive resumes in WWE history.

Former WWE Champion Kevin Nash (aka Diesel) has been linked to both The Icon and The Legend throughout his career. As a result, there’s probably no other wrestler alive today that can compare the two Superstars better than Nash. WWE.com was able to catch up with Nash recently to talk about the upcoming battle.

WWE.com: You have been closely linked to both Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan during your career. How would you compare the two experiences?

Kevin Nash: Working with both were real highlights of my career. Coming in with Shawn was basically the origin of my WWE career. And Hulk was actually there when I came in for a short time, and then of course the nWo was a huge highlight of my career. Hulk played a big part of that. Both of those guys were very instrumental in the success of my career. It was kind of like your first kiss with Shawn. And then Hulk was later on in my career after I had success, so it was a completely different experience entirely. Shawn and I traveled every day for three years night in and night out, 365 days a year. I learned the business from Shawn and Scott (Hall). I took what I learned from them and was able to help create what we did in Atlanta (WCW).

WWE.com: Did Shawn ever talk to you about Hogan holding him back in the late 1980s – early 1990s?

Nash: No, not really. When we got in there it was pretty much a big man territory. I think that’s one of the reasons Shawn brought me in. He brought in the biggest heel he could to get heat on, so at least they’d (the bigger wrestlers) work with me.

WWE.com: This week on RAW, Shawn said that the old HBK was back. Do you believe that Shawn is capable of truly bringing the old HBK back?

Nash: To me, he’s always been able to shift gears. He’s always been able to buzzsaw somebody. I just don’t think he’s going to compromise his beliefs that he presently has for the betterment of a SummerSlam match. I think this match is much like The Rock vs. Hogan at WrestleMania (X8). You won’t hate either of them more than the other. I know that I’ll watch it because it’s a match I haven’t seen. They’re saying it’s the Icon vs. the Legend, and that’s what it is. It’s something we haven’t seen before. The psychology of who’s heel and who’s babyface doesn’t’ really matter. It’s just two great performers – one has had 25, 30 years and one has had 21, 22 great years, and it’s a match that’s never happened. It’s the old Pro Wrestling Illustrated Dream Match – the computer match – but we actually get to see it.

WWE.com: You touched on it already, but can you elaborate on whether or not you think Shawn’s beliefs would hinder the old HBK from coming back?

Nash: I just don’t think, in talking to him the last couple of weeks, that he feels he needs that. I think that the really successful people in our business have been able to pull something out that’s a real personality trait. And that’s not a real personality trait he has anymore. He won’t be raunchy, but I’m sure he can create violence. I watch the shows occasionally, still, and there’s not a whole lot of guys that create violence. And plus Shawn’s great anyways. Shawn’s not going to not have a great performance.

WWE.com: What do you think we can expect from this match?

Nash: I just pray the young guys sit around the monitors and keep their mouths shut and watch how it’s done. If they want to see how to work and not do high spots and Chinese Firedrill and just want to see how it’s done – sit down and watch Shakespeare.

WWE.com: Is there anything in particular that you are looking most forward to in this match?

Nash: I’m looking forward to the finish. With the two huge egos going into this, I want to see how things pan out. That to me will be incredibly interesting.

Is it me? Or even tho the Brand is like shit, the website sings like a golden harp? Its amazing...and a bit troublesome...

The troublesome part is this:

Three new writers (that know not a thing about wrestling) have been hired to the WWE creative team recently. One of them, as female brought in from the Nickelodeon channel, asked JBL recently how they made the ‘fake blood’ continue to look like it was flowing out of his head.

UGH... can we put some of the internet guys on the writing team...please?

New Japan held a press conference with KDDI director Takenouchi to announce a "new contents business" strategy. In essence, New Japan is trying to do what WWE is doing now and capitalize on all of their video footage to make money from it. NJ executive director Hideaki Yamanaka told the press that New Japan wanted to use the content the company produced to generate revenue in the best possible fashion and to provide content through diversified media to fans. One part of the strategy is to set up HD (high-definition TV cameras) at major shows and introduce new video angles. In addition, the company is trying to focus on ways to distribute content besides normal television and satellite (mainly, phones and portable devices). A new web site is suppose to be opened at 9 AM on 7/28 with KDDI's assistance to deliver video of New Japan house shows. The hope is that the promotion can expand their audience by reaching 20 million new fans. The idea is that the sites will charge 315 yen/month for access and that you can download ring tones/theme songs of all the New Japan wrestlers, games, etc. New Japan is also going to try to follow All Japan's lead of running a "ticketless" operation in which fans can buy tickets to shows over their phone and not have to go through ticket distributors. Yukes announced a new wrestling video game for the XBox360 called "Wrestle Kingdom."

If you think The WWE Is Bad...New Japan is WORSE...

New Japan replaced Josh Barnett with Toshiaki Kawada in their G-1 tournament. I think we'll have some interesting angles to this story on the web site tomorrow...

The next day:

Josh Barnett had been told to prepare for the G-1 tournament in advance. He trained for the tournament. He suffered a staph infection and recovered. His training went well for the most part. He was excited to appear for the tournament. His shoulder injury healed up very well and therapy sessions produced good results.

Josh Barnett, since being under contract to New Japan, has had a history of not being called or told directly by management about decisions regarding his career. Last year, I broke the story about a news conference last August in which PRIDE boss Nobuyuki Sakakibara floated Barnett's name for fighting in PRIDE in October 2004. Nobody called Josh Barnett to tell him that he was going to work in PRIDE. He found that out from this web page.

On Thursday, news came of Josh Barnett being cancelled by New Japan in the G-1 tournament and replaced by Toshiaki Kawada. The reason given for Barnett's cancellation was his shoulder injury.

The truth is that Josh Barnett's shoulder injury is healed up. The truth is that Josh Barnett was scheduled to go to Japan and was told be be ready to go to Japan. He was supposed to get travel itinerary, the proper paperwork, and a plane ticket. He didn't receive anything from New Japan management this week.

Josh Barnett found out about Toshiaki Kawada taking his place from Japanese fighter Akira Shoji. Shoji thought that Kawada being in Block A would mean that Barnett would be able to face him. Josh realized what was going on. He later listened to a voicemail message that I had left him, telling him of New Japan's cancellation and Kawada replacing him.

To this moment, Josh Barnett has not received one word from New Japan management regarding the G-1 cancellation or his future status with the company. He found out about the news like everyone else does reading the Internet.

An official statement from Barnett is expected to be released in the next day or two. Barnett will make his future intentions very clear and is considering immediate plans for his future.

Whoa...

Tarzan Yamamoto ripped New Japan today for inserting Toshiaki Kawada in for Josh Barnett in Block A of the G-1 tournament. Yamamoto says that New Japan's last-minute changes in matchmaking have completely destroyed the confidence that fans have in the product. Yamamoto also debunked New Japan's excuse of Barnett having an injury, stating that if he was injured, the promotion would have known about it sooner than they claim and would have not promoted him.

Holy Cow. Its bad...Bad Bad Bad...

Here is some fire pro news: But its in Japanese...
