What...what...you mean that he has to give up Eddies son?...snore...

Here are the results:

MNMJ vs. Booker T & Chris Benoit w/Sharmell

The Match was better than it had to be: ***

Rey Mysterio vs. Christian

*** stars...again better than it had to be.

Its a tossup this week. It depends on who you think had the better 5 matches.

Some WWE news of note and nobody likes when movesets are downgraded.

Vince McMahon has sent word down through WWE that he wants cruiserweights to tone down several risky high flying moves, unofficially banning maneuvers such as the 450 splash and the shooting star press.

Apparently the number of injuries has caused McMahon to decide that high flying risky maneuvers are simply not worth it. The unofficial ban actually went into effect around two weeks ago and when Paul London used the shooting star press against Nunzio on a recent edition of Velocity, he was told by company officials not to use it again and to come up with a different finisher.

London along with other WWE cruiserweights are upset about having to tone down their style. Many in the industry are comparing this unofficial ban to the ban of the tombstone piledriver where WWE officials only let the Undertaker and Kane use it in dramatic situations.

from PWInsider

Bret Hart will be at WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT, for a meeting today regarding participation in a DVD project.

The WWE creative team has apparently decided on CM Punk's gimmick for his WWE debut. Punk will be 'the first ever deaf wrestler'. He is, of course, not deaf in reality, but will be in kayfabe. The creative team has already planned a number of 'humorous' backstage skits that center around Punk's 'handicap'. This appears to be yet another tasteless attempt at cheap heat by WWE creative.

...In short, the premise of the AV (porn) film is this - whoever loses the wrestling match ends up making their AV debut in a lumber jack porn match. The ring is surrounded by a bunch of guys who are waiting to screw the girl that loses.

The "match" involves Drake Morimatsu vs. Emi Tohjo, who has done a few porn movies in the past. Tohjo "loses" the match and immediately is forced into AV action against the lumberjacks...
