So in the Puro News:

The 9/18 Budokan match between Mitsuharu Misawa & Takeshi Rikio aired in Japan on N-TV (G+, N-TV's cable channel, aired the show live). So far, the reviews have been negative both from Japanese and foreign fans. One Japanese fan I talked with today said that the match was bad because Misawa looked weak and tired. Misawa is getting criticism for this performance. The Kobashi/Taue vs. Tenryu/Akiyama match, however, is getting very positive reviews.

Today comes word of another money problem for New Japan, this in the form of a lawsuit. Inoki is not one who likes legal challenges. Multiple Romantic reports that former New Japan President Masakazu Kusama has filed a civil lawsuit against New Japan & Antonio Inoki on 9/2 for 11,650,000 yen (a little over $100,000 USD). The lawsuit is a result (according to Kusama) of not being paid any money for a settlement that was reached between to the two parties on May 20th. That settlement was a result of Kusama resigning/being forced out as President of the company. The original settlement called for New Japan to pay Kusama 10,500,000 yen to leave. Kusama did a shoot interview in Gendai Weekly on 6/18, a month later, and talked about how he had to use his own personal money for loans to save New Japan (which included borrowing money against his own house). New Japan's legal team, according to Kusama, approached him and told him that he violated a secrecy clause in the settlement buyout. Kusama stated that what he told the magazine was nothing that wasn't already published in the pro-wrestling publications. The NJ legal team told Kusama that he violated the settlement deal, and Kusama replied stating that he would take a 10% reduction in the settlement as long as he was paid and the matter was closed. According to Kusama, New Japan has not paid him at all since his departure from the company.

Oh oh...

Satoshi Kojima vs. Giant Bernard for the Triple Crown was announced for the promotion's show on 10/18 at Niigata City Gym.

So that it for now...
