With the Batman fever... thought people might be interested in this.

 

Its information on the Young Bruce Wayne series that WB was going to launch, but eventually didn't cause of the movies and went with Smallville instead...

 

I always thought it was an idiotic idea... but after reading this, I really think it would have beaten the snot out of Smallville.

This sounds stupid. At least with Smallville you've got tons of stories with Clark discovering and controlling new abilities. If I wanna see some brooding character get into wacky adventures, I'll watch Angel.

1) Kryptonite powered bad guy.

 

2) Discovered Kryptonian artifact.

 

3) Clark and Lana almost get together then break-up.

 

4) Clark discovers a new power.

 

5) Clark finds a new reason not to trust Lex.

Exactly! The show really started to annoy the shit out of me, by the third season, when the writers would pull the same crap as stated above - and in almost every episode have it so that Chloe or Lana almost find out about Clark, but faint just in time for them to not see him arrive just in time to use his "abilities" to save the day. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
