http://www.khou.com/video/news-index.html?...92988&shu=1 I thought this was pretty cool and felt the need to share Was Someone Inside Imploded Hotel? 7 hours ago HOUSTON (AP) — Police searched the rubble of a demolished hotel in Houston Friday for any sign that someone may have been in the building when it was imploded. An amateur video appeared to show a figure inside the 13-story Crowne Plaza Hotel seconds before the implosion southwest of downtown Houston, police said. "It seems to show movement just prior to the implosion," spokesman Sgt. Nate McDuell said Thursday. "But that hasn't been confirmed to be human." Workers in the adjacent Texas Medical Center also reported seeing someone enter the building just before the detonation. Investigators asked the demolition company to stop work and began searching the site Tuesday after receiving the video. Officials with Cherry Demolition, who said all their workers were accounted for, told police they searched the building twice before the implosion. The Harris County medical examiner, homicide detectives, crime scene investigators and crews with cadaver dogs searched the wreckage Wednesday and Thursday. Houston police spokesman Victor Senties said the search resumed Friday morning. The hotel was imploded as part of a planned demolition project.

This one was totally sunk by bad booking. At one point, they had Austin beat Big Show clean on RAW, like 3 or 4 weeks after Big Shows' debut (right before WM15). WON or somebody said in recent months, that Austin insisted on going over Big Show because he was paranoid that Wight was going to be the new top man, so to calm Austin down they booked him clean over the Giant

Are you gay? If you have seriously considered this and you aren't, that is terrible. Answer one: If this girl really loves you, she will take the time, try different things, and find what you need to get it up. Answer two: Name bran Viagra. If it fails, sue. Not gay...mentally whipped Viagra it is!

My Girlfriend has big big tits, she lets me suckle, grope and molest them at will. She gets super moist. My dick doesn't move. Why do I have such stage fright? Why must I have ED? Why is my generic viagra failing me? Why can't i calm down and focus on what needs to be done!!??? AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Long story short, It was Summer 2003, I was 60-70 lbs fatter then, I was burning garbage and using gasoline as an amusing means to create a bigger fire, an ember ignited the gas can, I panic, kick the can, spreading the flames and i run through the gas and fire to get some flamable things away , I fall into the fire and this is my reward I had my ass carved up by a nurse with no pain killers soon after (She told me I was a tough guy...I maintain I'm a moron)

Weren't Boo Bradley, Tank Abbott, Frank Nabbit, and Duke the Dog all the same guy? And then some "drinks lots of Milky" guy? Yes, but Tank Abbot was the most extreme incarnation, posting vile pictures which resulted in his banning. I thought Duke the Dog was pretty funny though. The old StephanHawkings.com incident

Rat brained robot thinks like the real thing 17:08 04 July 2007 NewScientist.com news service Duncan Graham-Rowe Enlarge image When placed in a maze, the robot behaved in a similar way to real rats (Image: Alfredo Weitzenfeld)AdvertisementA robot controlled by a simulated rat brain has proved itself to be a remarkable mimic of rodent behaviour in series of classic animal experiments. The robot's biologically-inspired control software uses a functional model of "place cells". These are neurons in an area of the brain called the hippocampus that help real rats to map their environment. They fire when an animal is in a familiar location. Alfredo Weitzenfeld, a roboticist at the ITAM technical institute in Mexico City, carried out the work by reprogramming an AIBO robot dog, made by Japanese firm Sony, with the rat-inspired control software. When placed inside a maze, the robot learnt to navigate towards a "reward" in a remarkably similar way to real rodents, using landmarks to explore. Rat in a maze Weitzenfeld found that the robot could recognise places it had already visited, distinguish between locations that looked alike, and figure out roughly where it was when placed in an unfamiliar part of a maze, after just a single training session. "Our work is unique in that we are trying to reproduce with robots actual experiments carried out on rats," Weitzenfeld told New Scientist. The robot's tasks were set up to replicate Richard Morris' classic water maze experiments from the 1980s. These were designed to shed light on how spatial problems are solved neurologically. Weitzenfeld is also working closely with neuroscientists who are experimenting with real rats. "Our goal is to extend our current models by testing new hypotheses in robots," he says, "and by performing corresponding new experiments with real rats that may lead to further understandings in rat spatial memory and learning." New approaches One of the challenges in robot navigation is to enable machines to create maps of their surrounding environment, while working out their location at the same time – a challenge known as simultaneous localisation and mapping or SLAM (see Uncharted territory). "We believe this work will also inspire, in due time, new robotic approaches to SLAM and learning in robots," Weitzenfeld adds. Chris Melhuish, director of the Bristol Robotics Laboratory says that, while other researchers have performed similar experiments in simulation, these are the first tests to be carried in real environments. This could make a big difference when it comes to making more robust control software for robots, he says (see Guessing robots navigate faster. Weitzenfeld agrees. "This increases the complexity, but gives us a better understanding of the true complexity found in real and artificial systems," ------------ This does not end well
