And especially Baltimore Football and even HOckey when we have a team. I am not trying to start trouble!! But this is the NFL WEEK 6 thread and I saw the RAVENS were still involved in this league last I hear. So It's not out of bounds to discuss them. I'd would create a blog but nobody would read it so what's the point?? And the Colts I don't mind I am not angry at the Colts cause BOB IRSAY is dead. Baltimore didn't want to steal the Browns. But we had to cause the NFL didn't want another team here. And that's the only way we would had gotten another one. Cause if we didn't do that? No team would been in Baltimore.

Any Baltimore fan knows the story. Baltimore wanted one of those expansion teams and we were first on that list. We showed him had plans for a stadium. We wanted that team the fans were begging for it. But what did he say? NO! And how are the jags a "poor man's ravens"? Baltimore supports its team. Ravens fans some of the best in the country. Small region? Yes. But not bad support like in Jacksonville. Just cause they don'thave much national following don't make em worthless. Some of you are acting like you have to talk about the Ravens. YOU DONT!!! But why can't I???

But it's NFL and it's a forum that's for people expressing their ideas and opinions. I know nobody cares about the Ravens but there are two others and see here's the thing, you can't just say there are teams in this league that don't matter. Cause all teams do. I don't care about the Saints but if someone talk about them that doesn't bother me. And yes the Ravens are related to the Jaguars. Cause back when NFL expanded to include Jacksonville and Carolina Baltimore was one of those cities wanted those teams. But What did Paul Tagliabue tell us? NO!!! He told us build a museum with our money. So we stole the Browns and told the NFL go fuck itself cause now WE HAVE A TEAM!!! But if NFL would just given the Jaguars to Baltimore it never would happened that way. NFL made a bad choice. And now LA would have a team.

Can someone explain to me the working the Ravens into a post joke? I am new posting here though I registered back in March. Ravens are part of the NFL so if I have something to say about em shouldn't that be ok in this thread??? I am a Baltimore fan, most of my news comes from Baltimore teams. Next week the RAMS a team used to be in LA comes to Baltimore one time for the next eight years. My Ravens might not be too good this year. But if we can beat the RAMS and the BILLS next two weeks we're gonna be 5-2. 5-2 is in good shape and miracle for a team with t his many injuries lost players and poor performances. 5-2=good 4-3=bad 3-4=done That's what we gotta avoid.

Jacksonville Jaguars should had been Baltimore Ravens and then the Browns would never moved from Cleveland. Cause NFL didn't think Baltimore was good area for a team and Jack Kent Cooke fought keep a team out of Baltimore. So if NFL would given a team to Baltimore like they should you'd never see a team leave Cleveland and no team in Jacksonville to move. So the divisions would look like this. AFC West Broncos Chargers Chiefs Raiders AFC North Steelers Bengals Colts Browns AFC South Ravens Titans Texans LA Stars AFC East same And NFC the same. Just no Jaguars cause that's what the Ravens would have gone.

I don't see what I said wrong. I am saying that what ESPN does is make pro players like peyton manning seem like actual GODS. And that getting "a ring", agreeing that's worthless, only good to the player doesn't mean he's actually good. Not that Peyton Manning isn't GOOD, he's just not GOD, like Mick Foley . I don't think this applies to just the NFL... it seems to happen in all the sports where a notable choking player/coach/team wins their ring and suddenly they can't be called chokers any more, even if they pull chokejobs after winning their ring See this is what happened with Brian Billick on the Ravens though somewhat different. His team wins Superbowl 2nd year he gets here and everyone hails him a genius. But now look he can't win big games anymore. Seriously Ravens lose just about every big game postseason game they play these days. But what happens? People still defend him cause of that Superbowl. And then he had a 13-3 season and then his offense laid an egg to the eventual superbowl winners should had won that game, would had the AFC Championship at home. What ESPN does is deify players. They make these players and coaches seem like GODS. Pro sports is all done by hyperbole but they take it to another level. The "ring" is a worthless stat. Cause you know who other quarterbacks have rings? Tony Banks and Chris Redman. Also Priest Holmes got a ring as a starting RB in a superbowl.

McNair has to sit a few weeks till his groin is completely healed so he can plant his foot again and put zip on those passes and more accuracy. Boller must start these next two weeks.

That was Roethlisberger second season and guess what happened in Baltimore who won? It wasn't Pittsburgh again. We almost swept em even nearly beat em in Pittsburgh. So you See these divisional rivalries you never know what's gonna happen. Why do you think Willie Parker never does anything agianst my Ravens and guess what the Steeler record is against Baltimore since Parker took over at running back? That's right it's 1-3 in favor of Baltimore. Cause Willie Parker don't do damage to the Ravens. And then Ben Roethlisberger has to do the work and he can never do it Himself. But how come against Seattle he does ok? That's cause Seattle is out of division west coast NFC team. So they're not built for it or mentally conditioned. But my Ravens are and always get up for the Steeler games. If Willie Parker gets no yards this year against the Ravens we might sweep em again unless Samari Rolle Trevor Pryce still out. See that's what happen in divisional games. Teams get up for em and you don't know what's gonna happen. So even if your team is shitty and plays a good one, it can win. Just like in 2004 Steelers went 15-1 and Ravens went 9-7 but guess who won that game in Baltimore? Not Pittsburgh!!! Cause division matchup is unpredictable most the time.

Well injuries are a big problem you're right. But we also lost Thomas in our pass rush AND our coverage and we will hurt all year from that. Pryce needs come back quick. Suggs has been an extreme disappointment as main pass rusher but good news is it might hurt his value in this contract year. I was thinking same thing about the n ext three games. We gotta win em all but can we do it on the road? And about injuries we do need to get healthy but guess what McNair is old and he's not gonna get better if BILLICK start him EVERY WEEK and he's starting again this week! Boller is NOT that bad!! It can be a legitimate annual event for sure, but they definitely need to change the gimmick a bit. Have a different sort of gimmick for it every year and I'll be fine with it. Some of these guys should surely be in some sort of match, though.
