  1. I think my first date was when I was in 7th grade. She wrote me a love letter, so I asked her out. I took her to see Scary Movie 3. For some reason, I walked about 5 feet in front of her while we were walking to the theater. We didn't hold hands, and we broke up a week later. Her name was Amy, and she later tried to kill herself several times in high school.
  2. Marv, do us a favor. Don't listen to Beck for 1 month, plagiarize your opinions from some other source (preferably reputable and not one person), and try to post here with at least some amount of dignity.
  3. Justify to who?
  4. Remember when Limbaugh was saying that he destroyed Obama, or something of the like? Boosh
  5. Woah man woah
  6. Because I'm not gonna play ball and say that Stalin was awesome :'(
  7. At the start of 1917 Russia was pretty close to still be a feudal state but managed to become the world's second most powerful nation by 1945. That would be amazing in it of itself, but consider how many of the best minds of the USSR were put to death by Stalin. He lifted up such a backwards nation to amazing heights due to his brutality. I hate hoping on a bandwagon, but Stalin is the best dictator ever. Plus, being of German and Russian decent, the only good thing for humanity anyone of my ethnicities ever did was when my mom's side of the family beat my dad's side in WWII. Which is another reason why he was so impeccably stupid. His army purges eliminated the most experienced members of the army, leaving it full of inexperienced leadership, and scientific progress was horribly slow. His people hated him, and his decisions for the army without a doubt caused tens of thousands of deaths because they were poorly organized and terribly inefficient. Had Hitler actually made intelligent decisions in Russia, instead of an entire fucking dictionary full of moronic directions, it's no doubt in my mind that Germany would've swept through Russia in much less time than they did, and without the defeat at Stalingrad. Like I said before, it's not impressive to take a country with huge amounts of natural resources, federally mandate that everyone go to work and produce, produce, produce, and see some results. Not to mention that part of that industrialization was carried on the backs of Russian slaves. And I don't even agree that it was even that industrialized, as the entire country's economy was extremely inefficient. Wow, there were a lot of retards dictating countries during WWII.
  8. Well, when were they fully industrialized? If you want to say that they were fully industrialized at the beginning of WWII, that's still 12 years, which is not all that amazing.
  9. The thing that makes me think that Stalin is worthless is the fact that he did something totally unremarkable: turned a country with huge amounts of natural resources into one that produced things. Lenin, had he lived longer, probably would've done this. Considering that Russia was totally backwards, as long as they got the Czars out, then it was bound to happen. Furthermore, his agricultural program was a complete failure and caused the country to produce less than it was capable of. Not to mention all the failures of his administration due to his paranoia as a leader. He completely botched the German invasion of Russia. They knew it was going to happen 6 months before the fact, and he was so sure that Hitler wouldn't invade Russia, he let his army go woefully unprepared for the attack. Had Hitler's army treated the invasion of Russia as a liberation effort instead of a conquering, they would've captured Russia in a day.
  10. Less we forget that he killed FDR.
  11. Definitely Kim Jong-il. Dude launched missiles into the sea of Japan just because he could.
  12. And then everything he did was quickly erased, all the Germans hated him, Germany ended up becoming less than what it originally was until the Berlin wall came down some 40 something years later, many of his friends committed suicide or were killed by hanging or firing squad, blamed losing the war on the Germans themselves, and then blew his brains out in a bunker. What a guy. Not to forget that he was an idiot as well.
  13. Not going to respond at all to EHME or Marvin.
  14. This is actually the first time I've been in the position of recording, so I don't have anything yet, but I'm going to have my set up done in the next week or so. I'm writing material right now anyways, so I should have stuff soon. Sorry bro
  15. Yes, you could definitely do that. The sampler function in Live is quite awesome at this, as well as the many effects built right in. You can find it on pretty much any torrent site. Recording a live instrument might be a little more tricky though. Seeing as how you don't have to mic a keyboard like you would a guitar amp, it's probably a little easier, but you still might need to get an interface. Look around and see what you can find, all you need is one with two line ins, nothing else (except a headphones port).
  16. Doesn't stop them from leeching onto it.
  17. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dariusk/3309249949/ Amazing. The programming was all done in Excel too.
  18. bro u rlly got me this time
  19. Bitchin, man, those Microns are pretty killer. Live is applicable to almost anyone, but, just like your Micron, you get out what you put in. It can be as basic or as in depth as you want. What are you looking to do with a DAW? Anything specific, or just record yourself?
  20. Well I hardly have ever worked with fruity loops, but that was a couple of years ago. The most comprehensive DAW I've used is Pro Tools, the industry standard, but Logic and Live will give me pretty much the same results, if not more.
  21. That, coupled with the fact that he'll never get a Pitchfork review, is probably why he's a sad black man.
