The Things That Anger You Thread.
Kristianna replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
How many shoes do I need? I need a pair for every outfit, of course. And besides, some shoes match more than one set of clothes, so its not like I have nearly as many shoes as I do tops, blouses, dresses and t-shirts. I did a count though, and I do have 52 pairs of shoes. From $9.00 bargain bin shoes from Payless, to a pair of Gucci heels that cost me way more than I want to admit. -
that was a pretty good little stab at McMahon from CM Punk there.

WWE General Discussion for August 2007

I just wonder if he's related to this "Ceener" that Tazzwell was talking about last night. -

As a girl, I'll field this one for you. This is not a lack of confidence, typically. Most of the time when girls ask this (and yes, I've been guilty in the past), they're just fishing for compliments. As Chris Rock once said, and I quote, "Women need food, water and compliments. And shoes." He's right on the money. We're creatures of appearance, and extroversion... and we constantly want to know that all the time and money that we're spending on makeup, clothes and dieting is paying off. Really, its a competition. Women just like to try and out-do each other. I have no doubt that if I wore a t-shirt and jeans everyday, and didn't put on makeup... my boyfriend would love me just the same. He could care less what I'm wearing as long as it ends up thrown on his bedroom floor at night. I'm just trying to look better than every other woman I know. -

hasn't Snitsky lost by DQ a few times already? -

I'm imagining... yes... I can see it. Cena wins by DQ against the "uncontrollable monster" Snitsky. Orton comes out to help beat Cena down, and Umaga makes the save. -
CKY - Infiltrate. Destroy. Rebuild. I think I'll listen to this in the car on the way to work today. Probably the most solid hard-rock album I've heard in years.

Just because I spent the last 4 hours at a bar discussing it...

Metallica... around 1988-89, would be pretty awesome I'd imagine. My boyfriend has a concert of their's on tape from 1989, and its pretty amazing to watch just how bad-ass they were in those days. -

Vince McMahon likes for the fans to sit in silence. What...like at a Japanese show? Except instead of respect, WWE fans sit in silence because they honestly have no idea what's happening. ah, so more like a TNA show, then.

Tuesday Night Delight? for the love of Christ...

Tommy Dreamer would have made a better choice for GM. But I guess ECW still needs a face or two.
-
What gets me is that they're wasting time with that segment when the show is only an hour long.
-
I really don't, honestly. I'd like to see it though. Its funny though, both guys are on the ECW roster, but I can't really say I see either one of them as being "extreme". Especially in the classical ECW sense of using weapons and tables and the like.

breakfast: coffee and cigarettes lunch: caesar salad, an orange, and a diet coke dinner: rib-eye steak w/ another caesar salad and two pints of heineken

OaO Monday Night Raw Thread - 08/13/07

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm really tired of this King Booker shtick. I'd like to see Lawler attack King Booker, like he did when Booker tried to make him kiss his ring. Umaga and Cena teaming up will be a disaster, as neither one of them is a good tag wrestler. Maybe Randy Orton will do his stupid running shin attack on Umaga and "KILL HIS LEGEND!". And correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't Cena have a match against Umaga and Khali a month or so back... and didn't he win? I mean, why is Orton considered a legitimate challenge after that!?!?! AAAAARGH!! -
I typically just grip the top part. Don't want to ruin my manicure, ya know? I think the next time I go bowling, I'm gonna see if they'll let me use the bumpers. A 25 year old woman with no children asking for bumpers should be funny enough on its own.

I'm pretty sure Hyperstone Heist and Turtles in Time were made at the exact same time for different systems. I really don't know why they decided to make two different games, but they did. Oh, and also, Streets of Rage 2 kicks ass! I was playing that just the other day, along with Streets of Rage 3. If you like those games, you should try to find Final Fight 3 for SNES. It's pretty rare, but if you can get it, its awesome.

Helmet - Aftertaste Probably one my favorite albums of the 90's. I usually listen to this album when I'm trapped in gridlock on the way to work, and it typically keeps me from road-raging.

I don't put anything past WWE creative at this point. Especially after the Lita miscarriage angle from a few years back, and the way they turned Eddie's corpse face down in the mud and raped its ass for a year. -
how true. I've been playing this series for a long time now, and I really look forward to the next one. I just hope CM Punk makes the roster, so my boyfriend will stop worrying.

Since I went bowling last night, I figure I'll just go ahead and cop to the fact that I'm a terrible bowler, and the best score I've ever gotten is barely over 100. Having a few too many Budweisers didn't help. Yes, I know Budweiser sucks, but it was cheap, and it being a bowling alley, they didn't have much of a selection. Also, bowling in a corset top and mini-skirt is definitely a good way to attract more attention from sweaty old rednecks than I ever wanted. But seriously, if anyone takes me on at the air hockey or pool table, they get schooled.
