Cornette was at his pinnacle of insults when it came to the Baby Doll feud. He absolutely ravaged her on the mic.

The Matt Hardy shoot is very entertaining. You get a lot on the whole Matt/Lita/Edge situation. The Rock and Roll Express did a pretty funny shoot as well. I don't think Ricky said a sentence without two to three cuss words in it the whole time. A person who would be awesome to do a shoot interview, but we will probably never get one, unless he gets fired, is Michael Hayes. Sure, he'd be full of shit on most of it, but he can tell a mean story at times.

I think my favorite part of the Cornette/Paul Bearer shoot is when Bearer starts to describe how he was the world's best paid babysitter when he was first assigned to the Undertaker.
-
I cannot wait! I don't buy shoot interviews, but this one... I'll make an exception.

Another source of good stories is the Raven/Honky Tonk Man shoot where they go over a list of famous wrestling rumors/urban legends and tell whether or not if they are true. The one about the Rock and Roll Express, Jimmy Valiant, a hooker, and said hooker doing something on a glass table is equally disturbing and hilarious.

WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion
Diamonddust replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in WWE Multimedia
Forgot to check the update this morning, but damn, that looks like a great way to start of what should be a wicked month of programming. As for October, I ditto the reactions to being able to see The Showdown at Shea. Pretty historic card right there. -
Yeah... the Heenan series is hilarious as is the one he did with Paul Bearer. I have the .mp3 of the 4 hour shoot and the three Heenan shoots along with part two of the series he did with Bill Watts, but I can't find audio for the Paul Bearer one (Which has a lot of great Texas and WWF stories). Didn't he also release one that was basically a primer on running OVW?

I believe at least one of those wrestlers was Jackie Fargo. Can't remember the other off the top of my head. And yeah, the story of how Cornette filmed a SMW bit at the Powerplant and Bischoff showing up is priceless. It was childish as all get out, but I laugh every time I hear Cornette tell what he did to Bischoff's sports car. And hate is too kind of a word to describe how Cornette feels about both of them in that interview.

Jim Cornette has some hilarious stories about his days in Louisiana and dealing with the riot-happy crowds at those shows. It's also pretty interesting to hear him justify things to himself about jumping off the scaffold at Starcade '86.

At one point, it looked as if the WWE was going to bring back Halloween Havoc.

Randy Couture signs new 3 fight contract with UFC
Diamonddust replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
The storylines/build for this fight will be ridiculous... The Legend vs. The Next Big Thing... It's sheer power and strength vs. experience and strategy. This fight will do an insane amount of business. Personally, I'll be cheering for Lesnar in this one. He'll definitely be getting the heel heat in this one, and I can guarantee he'll play it up even more than he did against Herring. The hatred Brock will generate from this fight will be legendary, and honestly, it's always good to have that one fight people love to hate. The ideal situation for UFC is for Brock to win and for Mir to win in December so they can do Lesnar/Mir II later down the line. Granted, I know they want Randy vs. Fedor but until that's a definite... it's still a pipe dream. -
All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft
Diamonddust replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in Draft Faggotry
I said it when he got drafted, and I'll say it again... I had Dick Murdoch valued extremely high based on the fact he was a top notch worker and could easily pull off being a face or a heel. He'd be a very valuable piece to anyone's roster. -

Anyone going to do a list of talent that wasn't drafted? I can think of a couple of decent names that didn't get selected. -

I've got my 3 day supercard booked and ready to go. I do need some time to work out the set-up shows using my other venues. -
All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft
Diamonddust replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in Draft Faggotry
Well, I finally figured out what to do with all my talent and how to get them involved in my supercard: A 3 Day mega-show at the Superdome: Day 1: Headlined by Jesse Ventura vs. Jerry Lawler - Hair vs. Hair Day 2: Headlined by Ernie Ladd vs. Andre the Giant - Battle Royale Rules Apply Day 3: Headlined by Harley Race vs. The Junkyard Dog - Best 2 out of 3 Falls in a Cage 5 other big matches will occur each day... More info to come... -
No, but I'll have a smile on my face if he gets destroyed by the next big thing in under 10 seconds at a PPV.

Good to know that we'll be getting that MSG Raw from '97 on 24/7 this month. A very historic episode.

Honky-Donky man... This could be fun...
-
That was freaking awesome on Orton's part...
-
LOL... Haas had them going there for a minute.
-
It would have been nice if Orton could have decked Punk after the motorcycle comment...
-
Orton's making the most out of this promo....

All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft
Diamonddust replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in Draft Faggotry
My plan is to build to a giant supercard at the Superdome while using Memphis, Dallas, and Nashville as spots for big shows along the way. -
Good to see Orton back. I'm already a sucker for the "HonkMeter".

I've always been partial to the Horsemen rubbing Ricky Morton's face in concrete.
