    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

I've almost taken him with about 5 straight picks but I kept passing on him, don't know why. He was my favorite as a kid... why, I have no idea but he was. I was planning on taking him eventually considering I figured he'd be passed up by several people.
  2. The one that comes to mind for me is when Mick Foley was speaking at my college, and it then came time for questions. I asked him about all the recent drug related deaths (It was shortly after Hawk and Crash Holly died), and apparently, I was the one who broke the news to him that Crash Holly had died. Needless to say, I felt kind of bad.

You're not the only one. No women's division for me. Same here... And Crand, that's the second straight pick that has caused me to scream.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

I think I might have an idea on who you are talking about here. They're popping up on my radar, but I can't seem to find a good match to put against them at the present moment.

I understand the ending to '97 now, but no ending of a match has ever made me madder than that one.

Crand is officially on my shit list now. You had 20 rounds to pick him, so nyah :-P Yeah, but he was going to be picked in round 21.

The heels having the advantage also allows the face team to send in their last man at the end, usually to a very big reaction since he's fresh and comes in cleaning house. I went back and watched 1992 again the other day... Damn... that was just non-stop, hard hitting action. Not a dead spot in the match, and the crowd was jacked pretty much throughout the entire thing.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

With the next selection in the draft, I'm going to take someone to work against Kabuki. He was a popular face in the South, especially in Texas. He should best be remembered as someone who directly influenced the interview style of The Rock as he made one of this man's key catchphrases. It shouldn't come as a shock since he teamed with Rocky Johnson at one point, and that will let me form a pseudo-stable of Johnson, Atlas, Dog, and this individual. Ladies and Gentlemen, "ICEMAN" KING PARSONS

    UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin

Personally, I didn't see it as a decisive Griffin win, although I could have bought it as a split decision. Anyways, if Jackson admitted Griffin beat his ass, well, I'm not going to argue. Still, I just know I'm going to have visions of Lytle earning his spot on the Muta scale when I go to bed tonight.

Same here, and I imagine we're probably going to have a similar approach to things.

As the show mentioned, The Undertaker himself could have possibly came out of the egg.

    News You Can (barely) Use

Agreed. I have always wished they would have done something more with Murdoch because he definitely has one of the more "unique" looks in wrestling. If they weren't a comedy act, he could have made a nice addition with Jesse and Festus.

Good Lord... I just watched '92 for the first time in a while, and I forgot how much blood was in that match. Windham, Rhodes, and Austin were gushing it.

So it's the one from the Orange Bowl?

    Monday Night Wars

The 8-18 Nitro holds a special place in my heart as it was the first and only Nitro I ever attended. I remember the crowd in Birmingham being pretty jacked throughout the evening.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

With the next selection in the draft, I'm going to go international. Since I can't get The Great Muta or Tajiri, I'm going to draft the man who inspired a lot of their style. He was the original mist blowing mysterious Japanese heel, and I can pair him up against a number of faces still on the board. Ladies and Gentlemen, From the Land of the Rising Sun... THE GREAT KABUKI

Why watch '93 when you've got '92, '91, and '87 available as well?

He had some great one liners during this feud. My favorite being "Baby Doll shops in the Jr. Moose department."

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

For the next selection in the draft, I'm going to go way back and take someone to work against Ivan Koloff. He's as American as they come, and he's considered one of the toughest individuals ever to step in the ring. If MMA was around in his day, his boxing and wrestling skills would have made him a top caliber fighter. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you.... DANNY HODGE My vision of the feud is having Ivan do most of the talking, and Hodge being the silent bad-ass that gets fed up and decides to beat the hell out of Koloff.
  22. Fair enough, but I'll leave you with the line Dusty Rhodes gave about the polka dots during the most recent 24/7 Roundtable: Someone asked him how he was able to do the polka dots at that point in his career, and he responded... "$500,000 a year is how I did it baby."
  23. Someone explain to me how Hornswaggle has hurt Finlay's career? Yeah, it might be cartoonish... but Finlay got a ton of screen time out of it. Comparing it with the crap he did with "The Dog" doesn't make a lot of sense.

Another funny bit about the newest episode is when the James Gang is doing an interview, someone in the crowd yells loudly "Take the masks off you criminals!".

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Another "about freaking time" pick right there. I have debated taking Blassie for the past couple rounds, but I decided to take Austin Idol instead to work against Jesse, although Jesse vs. Freddie would be gold as well. Maybe a lot of people just remember Blassie as a manager, but man... he was one of the first real big stars once the modern television era hit. In my opinion, this is one of the biggest steals of the draft.
