    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Good picks but doesn't alter my plans in any way... yay!

According to WWE.com, the 25 most annoying gimmicks of all time: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/top25mostannoyinggimmicks/ Pretty interesting to see who makes the cut...

A WCW ring at a WCW Pay-Per-View. Which means the WWE owns all footage of that event.

    2008 Stanley Cup Finals

I haven't posted here yet, but I'm a die-hard Wings fan living in the deep south. If Detroit plays like they have the past two games when the series moves to Pittsburgh on Wednesday, they will sweep, and it won't even be close. Here's hoping the next two rounds of Penguin hunting goes smashingly for the Wings! LET'S GO WINGS! Two more to the Cup!

    Top accidental lines

He said that? Interesting, as the biblical horsemen are supposed to be in the future, negating his "since" qualifier. I probably quoted it wrong but if you check out the recent Horsemen dvd, he talks about the promo where that line came about. No, I believe the tense is correct as posted.

    Top accidental lines

Didn't really catch on like the others, but Head Cheese keeps coming to mind.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Rhodes was my highest rated guy at the moment, but I've got a couple of back-ups that should fill the hole nicely. Quick question - Are we even bothering with managers in this? I couldn't find anything about the procedure, but I'm guessing they count as separate picks?

Crud... I was hoping Dusty would go unnoticed.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Rats... I was hoping Pillman would drop to a later round.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Come the start of June, I'm going to have to figure a new way of working my picks. I'll be working at a summer camp, and my internet access will be limited. That being said, the picks will be made when needed, but I apologize in advance if the pace slows down. At worst, you can compile a massive list and send me a PM, as I have been/will be acting as a surrogate for those who cannot be in place. So far it has worked out just fine. I might have to do that. We'll have internet access at camp, and I can always go to the central office 10 minutes down the road so I'll see how things end up one way or the other.

The way this is going... I kind of wish we were doing this draft in like a live chat or something.

I have a feeling one of your backup picks is probably the guy I want in round 3.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Again, I'm approaching my picks with a "Who is going to draw me money approach?" and not who will match up perfectly with my first pick. That being said, however, this individual would match up well with Andre in a program, and it would do monster business. He'd also be able to work with pretty much anyone else I draft, which is key. It was down to him and one other person who also fits the bill, but I have a feeling I might be able to get him later on. My next selection is none other than one of the baddest men to ever step in the ring: The multi-time World Heavyweight Champion... Harley Race

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

I find this to be a strange selection when combined with the first round selection you chose given how similar they are. Also because I don't think Douglas was a hot commodity and you probably would've had him available in the next round at the very least. How do you plan on utilizing your first two selections given their similarites? Douglas, in my opinion, would have been available probably much later than just the next round.

    UFC 84 - Ill Will

Jardine's look actually works for him... he looks like the crazy guy in the bar that will snap on you in a second... well, last night was an exception.

    The Old School questions thread

Yeah. They actually showed the video on Confidential, I think. RVD was bouncing a basketball for money, and DiBiase knocked it out of his hand.

    So, "Ring of Hell"...

The bit about Inoki buying the island from Castro is enough for me to pick this one up.

Same here... I had Edge rated pretty high, but I can make do without him.

I'm pretty sure they can be made public if the prison tapes them. I'm not certain if TMZ is using the Freedom of Information Act or not, but I do know that the Smoking Gun had audio/video recordings of when John Gotti's family would visit him. It was as twisted as these tapes.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

I was thinking the same thing about Warrior and Orton today, but I have a couple of people ranked in front of them so I'm going to keep quiet about that...

    UFC 84 - Ill Will

Just got in from watching this one, and here are some thoughts: -I don't know how Lyoto did it, but he survived what looked to be a sure fire submission hold by Ortiz. The majority of the restaurant I was at was behind Lyoto, but they still gave Ortiz props on being able to send a major league scare with that hold. I agree with an earlier post in that Lyoto was pretty evasive for the most part, though. -I was pulling for Silva (About the only one in the place that was... seemed like everyone was behind Jardine) to win, but I had no idea he'd absolutely drill Jardine the way he did. The last couple of shots he got in were things of beauty. Jardine looked like he had checked out after that one. -I thought the bell was going to save Sherk in the main event, but B.J. going for the kill was very nice. He was turning Sherk's face into hamburger, and by the looks of things, it would have gotten a lot worse if it had gone into the 4th round.

    So, "Ring of Hell"...

This actually came up during a shoot interview with Raven and The Honky Tonk Man. It was a pretty funny story.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

To clarify my pick, I'm talking the late 70's/early 80's Andre the Giant.
