To be fair, she already throws some good strikes. She's also kneed me in the head more than a few times. Mind you, she's trying to crawl over me instead of trying to fight, but still. All that aside, we're pretty certain that her first word will be "bollocks" or "bloody" (the wife's from England).

I believe that it was something along the lines of not paying people.
-
Yikes. I think I'll pass on that one.

There was a CrossGen stint in between there, but based on the heroes/TPB drafts, it would appear that noone (myself included) gives a shit about Crossgen. But yeah the Harras Avengers was his first big gig. Even now you can see the influence longtime Avengers inker Tom Palmer had on Epting.
-
I'll do the sig bet, but I think you'll understand that I keep pictures of the little one down below instead of GSP.
-
Epting's an underrated penciller. I wouldn't call him spectacular, but he's been solid ever since I can remember.

Shipley's has some good traditional donuts, but their coffee is by far the worst I've ever had at a chain store - I would describe that as hotel-level (by which I mean the crap you get for free in your room) as well.
-
I think you probably could probably do a comparison, as I've gone to some mom and pops that had coffee that I would describe as hotel-level, and others where the coffee was great. But it makes more sense to do that comparison locally rather than the national/regional comparisons we've been mostly doing in this thread.

Hey, he learned from one of the best in Heyman. Anyways, watching this finally, and yeah, it's Sherk's guys in Brock's corner, so no wonder he didn't finish Herring.
-
More fun with Rob - his left arm looks like it's attached to his backpack. Which seems quite big for a guy who can teleport back home and has no need to carry camping supplies with him.

I think that they're working on the border states first. When I went down to Dayton they had 3-5 stores in fairly well placed areas. But I think that they're fighting on two fronts with Starbucks on one side and Dunkin' Donuts (which to be honest, is vile) on the other. Hard to compete when the coffee king in the US is in supermarkets and bookstores everywhere.

Gotta love that Liefeld cover. No feet, a modified Badd Blaster, miniature heads, Cable is twice as large as Deadpool and seemingly ready to sodomize Wade...

It's probably to BJ's advantage that he doesn't have that wrestling pedigree, because he wouldn't think like a wrestler in that situation, and would probably try something outside of what's expected. So in that respect I can sorta see what Mike is trying to say.

Final pick, one of the best things to spin out of Infinite Crisis. At least until Bruce Jones took over: Greg Rucka's Checkmate run (1-24)
-
Or, if you've only watched the movie - 300 Spartans vs Take a Shit Guy's Army. My final pick coming up shortly.
-
Well, he had Sherk's guys in his corner, right?
-
Picking something that's still going on, but it's a good read. Unless you absolutely despise Bendis:
-
I'm not that familiar with O. Henry's work but have you tried google books?
-
I think you have one more pick to makeup, LLGC...

The Forgotten One aka Gilgameh: And because it's so easy to trash, Youngblood. What ISN'T wrong with the costumes?
-
See Lush's comment. Basically, if Bucky can come back from the dead and become Captain America, anything is possible. I think X-Men is still viable - they just need to ditch Halle Berry. Use a core of Iceman, Kitty and Colossus and go from there.

A great series that got seriously derailed once they changed it from a "Max" series.
-
OK, it's back to Stevie now...

I'm back. Many thanks to Cran for filling in with my emergency pick.
