Anyway, the point was that it was crap, but Paula's right - Archuleta could sing anything and he'll get votes. On the other hand, Ramiele was brutal, she had some sort of ugly skort and she still has cement shoes. Chikeze bores the shit out of me, and I'm tired of Jason Castro's schtick. My guess is that people are still mixing her up with Brooke. Doesn't matter though, since she (Kristy that is) will be gone in due time. Archuleta's victory was all but sealed once they announced that the songwriting contest was back, because fans will choose the most sappy, stupid, Idol-ish song there is - which suits David perfectly. Amanda probably could've stayed longer if she had either frowned or smiled more consistently. That fake smile did her no favours. No big loss though. I think I was confused by this week's theme, since I'd assumed it was Lennon/McCartney II but "Here Come the Sun" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" are clearly George Harrison songs?

It took me a bit to figure it out, but she was feigning sleep while Randy was reminiscing about Journey. Since it's Paula, it looked more like she was snuggling with Simon. Ramile didn't do Against All Odds very well, but it's a stretch to say that she's gone based on that performance. If you were to say that she's gone because she's Asian and doesn't have all of Hawaii voting for her, then I'd concede that possibility.

At first I thought that intro was kinda odd but it's probably because Sharon Lois and Bram are/were known commodities in Canada so there probably wasn't some drugged out kid saying "Sharon", "Lois" and "Bram" in the intro. Archuleta's performance was one of those that were pretty good in spite of absolutely destroying everything that people love about a song. I really didn't think that there was a true blow away performance last night. I think two of Robbie, Jason and Luke are going to be eliminated. My blind prediction on the women will be that Amanda and one of the blondes go home.
