Yeah, there's no question about that. The issue is that there's no way that they squeeze in a Guida fight (even one with a stoppage) into a 2 hour show with what's already on the main card. And that of course is with the assumption that Alexander/Irvin doesn't last 5 minutes.

MDIBTYD looks like a cross between Fear Factor and Double Dare, so I wouldn't have had a problem with it if it were on Nickelodeon. Speaking of enough, enough with the Lipstick Jungle ads already. I remember something about the old show where the Gladiators still had to compete for their spots, which was part of the reasons for Zap and Nitro missing a season and Lace coming back as an alternate/extra. So if you win, I suppose that's the chance you get.

You're not thinking long term here. It's probably worth it. I mean, I paid $250 to practically sit in the upper deck at a Wrestlemania once and that was when I was a poor college student (aka $250 = months worth of beer) but it was worth every penny. How often are you going to get the chance to see UFC live? Half the PPVs are in Vegas and they are increasingly moving to more and more locations meaning that if they come to your neck of the woods it's what? Once a year or less? I don't know what your financial situation is but even though it might seem like a lot at first, it's worth thinking about. Like Mik, I don't know how you're set up financially but if you've got a rewards credit card you may want to see if you've got the points for a free room (I'm probably using my SPG points for a family trip to Vegas. Hmm, taking a 4 month old to Sin City... pretty sure that's never a good idea...). If you don't have one, I highly recommend getting one (the cards compared are all no fee Canadian credit cards)

I'm pretty sure pulling guard in Conquer would get the Gladiator DQ'ed immediately. Yeah, it kinda sucks, but I think that she might have panicked and still not qualified had there been a clock showing her time live.

Actually, I think Hit and Run is a good "Crunch Time" event. It allows you to rack up some points if you play well. That being said, it's not one of my favourite (UK) Gladiators events. I actually thought that Pole-Axe would be a natural given the use of water instead of crash mats now. Shows you what I know. As for Hogan and Ali, having them do interviews is fine, but it's kind of wasted to have both of them because they also have PBP Guy. Better yet, just axe them and get someone else (like maybe Shauna Hiatt, unless she's burned bridges with NBC) to do it. Now that they've got the renewal, I hope that they add in more events, and toss in some time penalties on the Eliminator. It's got to take no time to set up stuff like Breakthrough and Conquer or Whiplash.
