Yeah it looks like Lee half assed the cover. He is still one of the best out there. I don't think that Lee's ever drawn real faces that well. However, I think the colourist is to blame here. And fuck y'all - Jiminez has the best art there, with Sale getting runnerup honours.

Co fucking sign, glad to see I'm not the only person who's notice that. I use to love Papa John's for it's sauce alone, now it's bullshit. My stomach could never handle the Papa John's sauce. It was always a case of enjoy now (if I was at someone else's place and they ordered), pay later. Anyway, my wife will only eat Pizza Hut. Attempting to convert her to a local joint (where I'm at it'd be Abruzzo even though it's about a 20 min drive away) has met with emphatic resistance...

The PC Chicago style pizza isn't too bad. Not as good as the real thing, obviously, but definitely filling. Strangest frozen thing I like - M&M's cabbage rolls.

Yes he was, but it don't matter now. Karma is, indeed a bitch Ari. I like the brother and sister team so far. Hopefully they won't pull a Cho in this Race.

New Joss Whedon Show Starring Eliza Dusku
starvenger replied to BlackFlagg's topic in Television & Film
Well, I never got into the the Buffyverse and I'm into X-Men, so you can see where my Whedon likes might be contrary to the norm... -
I didn't realize this until after the episode was done, but Joss Whedon directed this one. Perhaps coincidentally, he directed the "Business School" ep which I also didn't care for...

New Joss Whedon Show Starring Eliza Dusku
starvenger replied to BlackFlagg's topic in Television & Film
A peak rating of 118th (2000-01), and a 5.4 million viewers for season three. But since it's on a weblet... it's all relative I don't really care much for Whedon outside of Astonishing X-Men, but I do think the guy always talks a good game, so getting another show doesn't surprise me that much. -
There are a few places in the GTA that I generally recommend to people looking for Asian food: Thai - Salad King at Yonge and Gould (by the former Sam the Record Man). All dishes under $10 and will fill you up. I can't say I've tried every dish, but everything I've had has been tasty. Japanese - Mochizuki at Bay and Elm. A wee bit more pricey than Salad King, I'd recommend this place for some real Japanese food. The chef/owner trained in Japan, and will give you some interesting stuff if you ask for the chef's tasting menu. It will cost you (I'd say at least $50) but I haven't had better stuff anywhere else. There's also a rotating sushi bar if you just want a la carte. Malaysian - Restoran Malaysia in Richmond Hill. This is probably a good place to go if you're not into the spiciness of Thai food. Nothing here will kill you, but the curry and roti are a great combination. The one drawback I have for you is that the restaurant is halal, so no booze, but their fresh fruit drinks are nice. Kings Noodle and Swatow in (the main) Chinatown - Good, cheap, tasty. Shanghaiese - Asian Legend (various). There's five restaurants in the chain now. The wife and I love the juicy pork dumplings and the chunky beef noodle soup. Any places you guys like here?

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

And the co-main? Gonzaga vs Werdum. Not sure that Werdum has the name recognition to be second from the top. BTW, congrats to EHME/Carlo. Take it from this new dad - the first month is very trying, so relish the amount of sleep you get now... -

Funny what a little extra green will do, eh? -
Hey now, the world NEEDS a rematch between Joey Chestnut and Kobayashi, no?
-
I'm impressed that both of them are still around. Do they still sell those ginormous slices?

Rashad Evans versus Michael Bisping to headline UFC 78
starvenger replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
That's what made the round 9-9. I would've perfered to see a Ortiz/Evans rematch over this fight, but Ortiz perfers to go on reality shows with Donald Trump than fight. Yeah, I still don't really understand why a Celebrity Apprentice other than to stroke Trump's ego. Does Trump even know who Tito Ortiz is? '"Punishment Athletics"? Sounds like a bad name - it'll never work...' -

I met Edge at a comicon in Toronto, right after his WWE debut. He was there to help hand out flyers for his buddy's indy comic. I think this was the same comicon where I figured out that Marc Silvestri is an ass, but that's neither here nor there. Not weird, but I saw Torrie Wilson at IAH the day after the infamous GGW PPV.

Remember to send your thank you cards to the producers of Viva Laughlin for creating such an "outstanding" show. Apparently, no non-elimination legs this season, so I'm expecting a superleg or two...

Instead, the first TUFer to get a title shot... Nate Quarry! -
Was that the one fight where he actually looked non-flabby (i.e. back when he was on the juice)?

They explained that she was from the Ukraine. If your point was that it was rather arbitrary... well, I got nothin for ya.

I will defer to those who know more than I do about gravies on this.
-
I dunno, it just feels like a Lucas-type retcon (you know, where she'd ALWAYS intended for things to be this way but never bothered to mention it until now) to me, and a way for her to get some headlines. But I'm cynical that way.
-
Oh c'mon, that never gets boring...

Deep fry it in lard and it probably WILL be instant death. I'm not big on the chicken gravy, but I'm thinking that that's what will make this item sell.
