  1. I think we may have to give Mik a TSM No-Prize, as Imes has been contacted by the UFC:

Your list of 185 pound title contenders

Silva-Leben II, for the comedic value of seeing Chris get beaten to a pulp again.
  3. It does smack of that, yet the truth is that negotiations have probably been ongoing for a while. But as they say, timing is everything, and the Brock signing does seem like a desperation move in light of what's transpired since the last PPV

Rashad Evans versus Michael Bisping to headline UFC 78

I think Rashad/Tito II would've been a bigger draw, but I suppose it's hard to train when you're selling crap on the street for Trump...
  5. This is all true, but let's face it - the Korean guy may be a high-level Judo guy, but he was a can there to make Lesnar look good (in a non-worked way).
  6. I just hope he doesn't try any shooting star presses as a celebration dance...
  7. Hardonk is probably the logical choice, although there's gotta be some JTTS on the roster for Lesnar to pound on. Maybe Sinosic can move up to heavyweight.

    The Writer's Strike

I believe that reality television has something to do with it. Probably shows that are filmed outside of the US and use non-US writers too.

    The Baconator

Vanilla Frosties are the devil's brew. That is all. Wait... is that a good thing or a bad thing?

    The Baconator

A Frosty Float? Damn, they need that up here in Canada.

    The Beer Thread.

Perhaps overly hyped is a better way of putting it then, because it's easy to appreciate Guinness at a pub. Corona though... I'd call it overrated. But I'm not big on any beer that seems to require the addition of a lime to... what does the lime do, anyway? Distract you from the fact that it's shitty beer?

    kkk Bowl: Week 6

Man, if the season ended today... someone (like, say, KKKTMBA) would have a huge headache sorting out the playoff tiebreakers.

Does knowing a simillar plot line...

If knowing similar plot lines ruined movies for people, then noone would watch martial arts or sports films, because the plots are pretty much the same (by that I mean stuff like Mortal Kombat redoing Enter the Dragon and all Disney sports movies being the same, not The Replacements being similar to The Big Boss).

    House: Season 4

In short, it's not important save for the fact that Fox threw a shitload of money at MLB to air the LCS and World Series. ... OK, I guess it's important to baseball fans too.

    Tales of Restaurant Misbehavior

I had to run the old Big Mac jingle (and once again, this just shows how old I am) through my head to realize that, indeed, there's no ketchup on a Big Mac. I find it strange that they refuse to add ketchup on your Big Mac. But look on the bright side - at least they didn't say that they'd have to charge you for adding it.

    Heroes

I think it came from the fact that in the beginning he had no name so the captions called him HRG (short for Horn Rimmed Glasses, of course). Then it was revealed that he was Mr. Bennet and the running joke was that noone knew his first name, until it was revealed in the V1 finale.

    Heroes

I think Claire reacted in a way most people would, it is one thing to do shit to adults it is a whole new ballgame if you are fucking around with kids or young teenagers. True, but in V1 he did say that if they found out about her powers they'd take her away. Now I'm not saying that her reaction would be any different, but he pretty much laid it out there that they'd do shit to anyone.

This is true, yet it seemed that this was a bit more blatant than most... I dunno, I think it's just me.

    The UFC Lightweight Division

Well, the only one that's close in the UFC is best depicted by the two guys in your sig Matt "Supervisor, Hughes Intensive Training" Hughes GSP Karo Parisyan Jon Fitch Matt Serra Diego Sanchez Josh Kozzzzzchek Thiago Alves Marcus Davis Mike Swick That's not too bad. Hazelett can swing between divisions although I believe all of his fights have been at 170 so far. Tony DeSouza hasn't had a UFC fight in a while, but you know he can bring it. There's plenty of undercard talent as well, although the chances of them going any higher are doubtful in my mind. I'm talking about the Cummos, Burkmans and Clementis of the UFC. Lightweights have the edge in the upside department, I think.

Yeah, that was sweet. Hey, West's flying scene with Claire... wasn't that right out of Superman?

    Heel of the Franchise

Toronto Raptors: Isiah Thomas or Vince Carter? Tough call there, but given that Thomas has left more than one franchise in shambles, I'll give it to Vince. Toronto Maple Leafs: Gary Bettman. Sure, he's not an actual employee of the team or anything, but Bettman should be the #1 heel for any NHL fan, period. For actual Leafs, he's not on most people's lists, but Tie Dummy should be your top heel. Waste of a roster spot, he was.

    new movie

Dude, I think we're too old to be hit on by Cougars...
  25. The new rules are that Imports are being paid in $US, instead of the mighty Loonie. In all seriousness, the CFL now has a rule where you can't sign a player who has been suspended from another professional football league. This is also known as the Ricky Williams rule.
