Also, Saget needs to be more standup Saget instead of Full House Saget.

Ultimate Fighter Season 4 the thread...

I was gonna say he looks a bit like Tait Fletcher, but same difference. -
Cao Boi's gone, and unless they've got some serious physical challenges like Thursday's show, I'm gonna lose interest real quick.

Just wanted to inflate my post count by double posting...

Not that this means a damn thing as far as submission advantage goes but... Hughes has earned 17 out of 40 victories by submission - 42.5% GSP has earned 4 out of 12 victories by submission - 33.3% Regardless, I think GSP wants to keep this thing standing as much as possible.

Definitely wasn't boring, but it wasn't MOTY either. Shonie seemed to be playing defence, so he was reacting to whatever Matt threw at him. There were several nice takedowns, and I kept wondering if Matt tore something with the way he was grunting (Seles + Sharapova - hotness + short New Yorker = Matt's grunts). No real sloooooow points like Thomas/Lytle, Serra and Shonie stayed active. Relative to the rest of the season, this was a very good match. Relative to everything else, it was passable. -
Remember folks, if you want to win, pick the opposite of what I do... Carolina at Cincinnati (3.5) Detroit at N.Y. Jets (3.5) Green Bay at Miami (4.5) (9.5) Jacksonville at Houston (5.5) New England at Buffalo (5.5) Philadelphia at Tampa Bay (2.5) Pittsburgh at Atlanta (5.5) San Diego at Kansas City (5.5) Denver at Cleveland (3.5) Arizona at Oakland Minnesota at Seattle (7.5) Washington at Indianapolis (9.5) N.Y. Giants at Dallas (3.5) Tampa - 17

Kinda sad that I blow chunks yet I'm second in the division...

To be fair, every time the Race goes through India and the teams have to take a train, the women get groped. So I can see how they might be on the defensive there. Actually I was hoping that they'd go there last season. Just because I'd have enjoyed seeing Yolanda kick some ass due to attempted gropage.

Interesting/weird stuff that I noticed... Hiro and Buddy-san gambled in the Montecito - the fictional casino in NBC's "Las Vegas". Lindleman's Asian underling looked a lot like "W" from Good Eats. I'm still trying to find out if it actually was her - probably not, since she - W, that is - is actually a chiropractor. Then again, Nitro Girl Spice was a chiropractor... mmm, Spice... um, where was I? Yeah, anyways, didn't really care for the Very Special Episode feel for the Odessa scenes, but it served it's purpose showing that Claire isn't all goody-goody. We've been trying to figure out Niki's power over at Inside Pulse, and I'm of the opinion that she's basically Typhoid Mary. Another guy posits that she's like Hulk, without the turning 7'7", 1500lbs and green/grey. Any thoughts here? What's the influence behind future Hiro's garb? Haven't been able to place it, but it looks very anime-ish.

Speaking of Jonathan, Victoria gave birth to a daughter earlier this month. Jonathan wasted no time yelling at Victoria to breast feed faster. I made that second part up, btw. I like the "marked for elimination" stip. Penalties at the beginning of the leg mean nothing, but now that they know that they're getting an automatic 30 minute penalty if they don't finish first, it encourages teams to go for it, especially given how they always bunch them up. But what will be interesting will be if the other teams use this as strategy. David and Mary are not a strong team, so it could actually be advantageous for a team to concede first to them (and check in second) to negate the time penalty in the hopes that a strong team finishes last. For the most part, the teams have a pretty good idea of where they are in the standings, so I think it can be done, but it'd be tricky. I loved the fake cellphone bit the Cho brothers pulled, but as I told my wife right after they did it, "it's gonna bite them in the ass". And it kinda did, as Dr. Douche borrowed a phone to secure tickets. Perhaps that little joke also caused them to have diarreha of the mouth later when they told Dr. Douche and the Girls about their flight.

Actually I believe that his first defence will be against the TUF4 winner...

I've dropped out of the league, as I don't think I can stick around for the draft like I want to do. I hate autodrafting.

You could see it coming. It was pretty much a case of knowing each other's strengths TOO well, and trying not to make mistakes instead of just letting it all hang out. -
I'm watching, but really, it's the same old, same old. I do most of my posting on Inside Pulse actually. Hit one of the links in my sig to go there. We've got Big Bob from last season doing columns and the man is a great read...

Gotta pimp Inside Pulse So they bring back Seth, to job him to Hamill? And looks like Josh Haynes did manage to cut some more weight. Don't know if Singer was a true MW though.

Because 6 Football leagues isn't enough... I'm Crazy 88, because I'm unoriginal with my names...

"Normal" rules would be to approximate a regular NFL offence, minus the O-line. So something like 1QB, 2WR, 1RB, 1TE, 2 Flex. Maybe the 2QB set is a Yahoo thing? I dunno. First time I've ever played using those rules though.

Because I'm an idiot, I'm in 6 different leagues, including the KKK Bowl. Legacy League 1: 3-2. Started off strong with 3 wins, but lack of decent WRs on my team is hurting me. However, my Brees/Hasselbeck QB tandem is helping me out, and picking up Robbie Gould on waivers keeps me competitive. Legacy League 2: 2-3. I've gone the opposite way with this team, winning two straight. This league has individual defensive players (IDP) and guys like Cato June and Lance Briggs bring me consistent points. The league also rewards yardage and such, so while Tiki has done sweet fuck all in my first league he's getting me points here. Legacy League 3: 2-3. I joined this league this year, and I started with Trent Green, Antonio Gates, Edge James and not much else. So it's a rebuilding situation. Yahoo League 1: 4-1. My brother's 8-team league, where I picked 5th and ended up with LT. He's got some fucked up rules, where you start 2 QBs, 3WR, 2RB, 2 Flex and 3 IDP. Yahoo League 2: 3-2. My post-draft analysis was that my team was probably good enough to put me sixth in the 14 team league and after 5 weeks I'm sitting... sixth.

I think that's the kind of bickering that comes from years of marriage. They're both fairly open-minded people, really. Peter and Sarah will self-destruct during this Race. Rob and Kimberly, probably not, because they're both unlikeable and deserve each other.

Hey, the blondies hugged. Yet, I wasn't aroused. It just wasn't the same as the twins or Debbie and Bianca for some reason...

How do you watch this show with Yang and Grey and Sheppard and Addison etc. on it then. I can't stand Yang, btw, but that may be an extension of hating Sandra Oh as an actor.

Buffalo at Chicago (7.5) Cleveland at Carolina (8.5) Detroit at Minnesota (6.5) Miami at New England (10.5) (3.5) St. Louis at Green Bay Tampa at New Orleans (6.5) Tennessee at Indianapolis (18.5) Washington at N.Y. Giants (4.5) (3.5) Kansas City at Arizona N.Y. Jets at Jacksonville (7.5) Oakland at San Francisco (3.5) Dallas at Philadelphia (2.5) Pittsburgh at San Diego (3.5) Baltimore at Denver (4.5) Tampa? I thought that was a staple of Memphis booking, actually.
