And now, in hindsight, it's not as cool since Martha got rid of 2 people this week...

I've already bought Episode III: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! and I'll probably get the Office Space double dip even though I've got the original.

After last night, I can't disagree. Imes may become a lot better in the future, but right now he doesn't deserve to even be "enhancement talent" for Arlovski...

The big twist was probably Veronica not being as stupid as we thought she was...

I hear you. Although, wet Bransen girls is not a bad thing. -
I just figure that T-Bag will have one of his cronies shank and/or rape the guy at a later date...

It's pretty much the same story as 'Lost' last year, where there was that excruciating 6-week break between new episodes. But at least we know it'll be back.

ESPN searches for the next World Series of Poker..
starvenger replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Sports
It depends what you consider fast-paced. I'd call it slow-paced because of all the strategizing. Even though strategizing is part of what makes it interesting to watch. And for the record, I also think baseball is a slow-paced game. I think sweeping could seriously hurt your back given the amount of effort that goes into it. And while I've never played, I'm trying to convince the wife to try it with me. -
Jeff Garcia will come out before he does...

They've been doing that for the last few races. Which actually made it a surprise when the Head Shaving FF leg was an elimination one last season. Fucking great, I'd say. Besides, they need a way to top the whole "Black family" thing... -
ESPN searches for the next World Series of Poker..

Apparently you missed the ESPN tournament where athletes like Terrel Owens and Dave Mirra bowl against each other. That's a real stretch, as you're generally talking about maybe 1 or 2 teams there. I don't see anything particularly wrong with curling, other than the typically slow pace of the game. But then, I'm Canadian. -
It's parity, baby!! Or we all suck. Take your pick...

Thoughts about last night: - T-Bag's "singing like a canary" bit is starting to get old. My wife is hoping he gets shanked soon. - Veronica is still annoying and reminding me of Kim Bauer more and more. Only not as hot. - At this point, LJ's storyline is more interesting than Veronica's - OK, on TV we've now got 2 female presidents and 1 female vice-president. Whassupwitdat? - Also, why haven't those two agents been killed for being generally incompetent?

He Said/He Said... Stephan: Forrest: Hey, next week should be three fights, right?
-
Wait, didn't Bonnar and Griffin already do that? Minus the "freaks" part. You make it sound like the HW fights have been good so far. There have been maybe two highlights from the HW so far - Rob trying to guillotine Brad using his bad arm, and Seth getting hit in the nuts.

Tough call. I don't see any of the four putting up decent fantasy points. So I'll go by "who will get the most touches" and that's probably Rudi Johnson. Oh yeah, I've got one of my own. I need to start two of: Rod Smith Lee Evans Troy Williamson Laverenous Coles Brandon Stokley Thoughts?

The best Internet elitist-darling comedy is
starvenger replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Television & Film
It's 'Family Guy'. You can call it "too mainstream" if you want, but if it weren't for a vocal internet fanbase, it would still be in show purgatory. Personally, I don't care for the show, but I can't deny the amount of online adoration for it. As for Arrested Development, winning Emmys tells me that it's not just an internet darling, so I can't in good consience vote for it. -
I'm thinking that he'd be stupid not to start McCown, but there's something in the Phoenix air that makes the Cardinals do stupid things...
-
When in doubt, bench the guy on the team with the least amount of offence, so I'd sit Jones...

YES!! I can't lose this week!!

I'd actually agree, but different strokes for different folks, you know? The deep south kinda counts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only the rural areas. New Orleans really doesn't count. Les the Gas Guy, however... BTW, is anyone else disappointed that the Bransen girls declined the Linz request for them to show their tits? -

agreed, he was a welcome addition to that show... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Married...With Children seems to be the exception to the Ted McGinley Rule. A "reverse McGinley," if you will. Besides, we all know that Seven was the real problem. Good thing he didn't last long. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think they even try to cut him out of the syndicated episodes... -

I know some of you are sad to see Jailbait Faruiza go, but dad was starting to go all BoloDouche on the family, so it's probably good that they went now.
