Where? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think some US papers gave it positive reviews. I want to say Robert Bianco, but that's only because I think that are times that he seems out of touch with what the public likes.

To be fair, this time Fratboy did apologize for it. And I suppose that if a guy is asking for you to try and armbar him, you might as well try. Still, I figure that Leben remains "popular" because people are waiting for him to get knocked out...

You know what's funny? You probably WOULD have to do that in Chinatown... -
Can't say that I'm watching either show but I hope you keep posting because it keeps me caught up on the show.

And that matters because? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It IS somewhat shabby to be stuck behind a show that isn't very good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Except that show quality doesn't always translate to ratings. 'Commander-in-Chief' may suck (don't know, haven't watched it) but people are funny, and if they've decided that this is a show they want to watch, they'll watch it, no matter what. I know I did that with 'Dark Angel', and the second season was hella-bad. Which brings me to my 'not too shabby' comment, and my need to elaborate a bit. You're number two in the timeslot (going up against the best reality show around (well, maybe not this particular season) and a show that the 'Oprah'/Rodham crowd probably loves), you bring the ratings up about 3 points from 'The Biggest Loser', and you're the highest rated comedy NBC has. To me, that doesn't seem too bad.

Rachel Ray > Burger King Guy

It's actually #2 for it's timeslot, behind Commander-in-Chief and ahead of The Amazing Race, so that's not too shabby.

If you can afford it, all power to ya. I'll stick to the (relatively) poor confines of digital cable...

Well, they did go up north... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They went to Stamford? -
Kind of odd to think of comedies filmed in Widescreen format...

Better dead dad than praying to God for help. -
When was TUF2 taped? I'm just wondering if Hughes was hard on JVF because it was taped at the same time that Horn was training to face Liddell...

Yes, it's better. And Killer Instinct isn't gonna last more than a season anyways, so why not send it to die up against Lost?

Generally, there are a couple of out of shape teams racing, but I think that the need for "families" have created a larger percentage of unfit people. I still think that TAR6 was the worst one yet, but we're only 2 legs in here, so there's still time to hit rock bottom. The Good: - The rest periods. If they've eliminated the 12 hour rule and just set it up so that teams leave in the morning and reduces the bottlenecking, then I'm all for it. The Bad: - Did they forget about the "around the world" part of the show? - The show might suffer if the Bransen, Paolo and Aiello dads die of heart attacks. - They haven't mentioned a Roadblock limit yet. -
The thought of Prison Break at 8 and 24 at 9 on Monday nights makes me all giddy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, yes, but that would mean that Arrested Development gets axed, and we can't have that either.

Not really, but Natasha Lyonne does... -
"not Joss Whedon fans" as in they just aren't familiar with his work, or as in they don't like his work? If it's the latter, then probably not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As a "not Joss Whedon fan" (although his 'Astonishing X-Men' run has been decent) I'll just say that I wouldn't know whether I'll like it or not because I have no plans to see it. And no, you're not going to convince me to, either. However (and this is why I'm posting in the thread) I have to say that I'm impressed by the amount of promotion the movie has gotten over the past month. I still don't know if Universal really has faith in thet movie, but good on them for not half-assing the promotion.
