I am sure that is not the full roster. -
Well Mike Cameron makes over 9 million more for next year. Sounds like a salary dump.

I know people are going to be pissed that Haku is a waste of a roster spot. I am glad that they Put in Joey Marella as the ref. For those who dont know, Joey was Gorilla Monsoons son and a WWF ref in the late 80's/early 90's. He died in a car accident in 1994. I hope that Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler aren't apart of the main 40 roster of wrestlers. -
Wfan is reporting that nydailynews is reporting that the Yankees traded Melky Cabrera to the Brewers for Mike Cameron.
-
I think it's pretty sad that the team you root for just won the World Series and you are far more concerned about the Yankees.
-
When you beat the main quest can you still play the game and do all of the side stuff or does the game end?

Jeter, Cano and Swisher are all way below average defensively. I'm not sure what numbers you're looking at to make that determination. Lowe's had one below average season in his major league career. That 2004 season is an outlier. Lowe has also improved tremendously as a pitcher the past couple of seasons; the improvement just happens to coincide with his NL West move. It's more correlation than causation. He's a smart, durable pitcher with insane GB/FB ratios. He's good. Cano and Swisher aren't way below average defensively. Two years ago Cano was really good, and last year he was about average. Swisher is good at the corners, and a decent first baseman. Derek Jeter actually improved last year. Lowe is 36 now. No thanks. Have you seen his home/road splits the last 3 years? He has an ERA over 4 on the road. That's like an 8 in the AL East! Who do you want? Pettitte? Did you see the the stats I posted for him from last year. He sucked in the second half and he got beat up by all of the good teams. Andy's numbers are even more horrible if you take out his starts against the Orioles and A's. I have no problems with Pettitte coming back but he has to get off his high horse of him not having to take a pay cut.

The Red Sox and Angels have laid out parameters with Boras that would put them in the same ballpark as the Nationals' offer. Don't count out the Yankees either. I thought Theo doesn't give that long and or big of contracts. Also, maybe he is basing Cano's defense on actually watching him play compared to #'s.

One more rumor is that Hank Steinbrenner wants Manny. Can you imagine a one two punch of Arod with Manny 3 and 4?
-
New rumor is that CC is going to get an opt out clause after year 3. CC Sabathia for 2011 AL Cy Young. Bet on it!
-
Couple of things, Lowe has pitched 180 innings plus every year since 2002, has been above average plus in era, whip, k's and has been durable. Pettitte is coming off of the steroid scandal which the Yankees stood behind him the whole way and he had a horrible second half. The Yankees want him to take a pay cut and offered him a one year 10 million dollar deal. He feels that he should still be paid 16 million a year. Pettite went 4-7 in the second half of the season with an era of 5.35. In his last 11 starts, the Yankees lost 9 times. Look at his splits last year, he beat up on the bad teams 5-0 against the Orioles and Oakland with an era around 1.5. Against the Red Sox, Angels, Blue Jays, White Sox and Devil Rays he was 4-9 in 14 starts with an era of around 6. The batting average against was well above .300

7 years 160 which is cheaper per year than what Santana got I believe. The rumor off of wfan is that they are going after Lowe next and might get a third pitcher.
-
WFan is reporting that the Yankees are closing in on a 4 year 66 million dollar deal with Derek Lowe.
-
I forgot about that. Yeah, Vince can totally go fuck himself for that one. Sorry double post.
-
I forgot about that. Yeah, Vince can totally go fuck himself for that one. What exactly happened in that situation?

WFan is reporting that Joel Sherman is reporting that the Yankees have come to an agreement with CC Sabathia. Only took him a month. It's funny because Mike Francessa pretty much spent his whole show yesterday on CC and ripping him for taking so long and dragging his feet. http://www.nypost.com/seven/12102008/sport...deal_143481.htm

Why do the Phillies want to help the Cubs get a former Cy Young winner who is still a pretty good pitcher.
-
Lets not forget that Francisco Cordero at the age of 33 received a 4 year 46 million dollar contract last year as well.
-
Rotoworld reports that he signed a 4 year 47 million dollar contract. WFan was talking about how KRod was offered more money by Anaheim earlier this year or last year and turned it down because he wanted to go to free agency. Sucks for him that it happened at the worst time ever.

Do you ever see her there? How does she look in person?

Mine has to be Suikoden 1 for the PS1. Pretty much every song fit the setting, theme, mood, personality of the game, the characters and the settings.

I just found a great post on ignboards about create a wrestler. The topic creator was asking about being able to get a code after making a caw and being able to share it with others so that people dont have to spend alot of time making one. I still cant believe that Yukes took something like sharing a caw with others online.

Joey Styles JKO's JBL overseas
YourKock'sReallyGreat replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
You can tell that Joey Styles looks buff though even though he is wearing a suit all of the time. I am sure working for ECW for all of those years and being in the business toughened him up a bit. -
If so, that is the first real evidence that this bad economy is going to have an effect on free agent signings. That's a significant discount over every other significant closer signing in the past two of three years. Rumor out of the Winter Meetings is that there isn't much of a market for Manny either. Some think that he may even accept arbitration and play on a one-year deal. Well look at CC, he is waiting for a California team to offer him at least 100 million and it hasn't happened yet. He is pratically begging the Dodgers, Giants or Angels to sign him. He doesn't want to return to the Brewers and going to the Yankees is his worst nightmare. Manny is a glorified dh who shouldn't be playing in the National League. He is in his mid 30's and looking for a 4 year contract. I cant picture any National League team wanting that. How many teams in the American League can afford him and have a spot for him? He already burned his bridges in Boston, LAA hasn't shown any interest and has a jam of of/dh on their roster. I dont picture the Yankees signing him and how he forced his way out of Boston must scare alot of teams from giving him big money. One player that I am suprised that isn't receiving more interest is Jon Garland. He can be anywhere from a #4 to a #2 pitcher who is durable, has never been injured and pitches 190 innings plus every year since 2002. He is probably going to get half the money and half the Years that Burnett is going to get.
