Taue should get a match with Ogawa so he can get revenge for losing to Ogawa in Yoshi's first title defense (good match, too.) from a couple years ago.

The Raiders will not pick up TO. Even Al Davis has limits with douchebags who underachieve (no ring TO, no ring...). I'm just going on a gut feeling here though. Randy doesn't like TO and I'd take Moss over TO any day. Whatta cancerous ass. Hugh Douglas is a bitch too if he can't whoop TO.

The Raiders lost another close game. I can take solace in the fact that they haven't gotten blown out this season yet. I'm just hoping for them to be 8-8 or better this season. Plz.

What fighters are you digging right now?
Sass replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Andrei Arlovski, Matt Hughes, Nick Diaz, George St. Pierre, and Shogun. Arlovski - this guy is a mack truck and no one's gotten close to stopping him. I so want to see him run through PRIDE's top heavy's and would shell out $50 with no problem to see a UFC/PRIDE heavy show happen. Hughes - he fights like he's 200 instead of 170. The last fight Hughes had with Trigg made me a Hughes fan. The "heart" and determination this guy has to be the best shows whenever he fights. Hughes is an entertaining guy inside and outside of the ring. He's the king of the mountain and I don't see anyone taking him out. Nick Diaz - this guy is one the toughest guys to fight in the UFC right now. He's *amazing* with his ability to squirm out of bad ground situations and I think getting caught with a submission is just something I don't see happening to this guy. This guy is the one UFC fighter who always manages to impress me. Rush - Canadian's are not pussy's. This guy is spectacular to watch. He's unpredictable and comes to fight every time. Shogun - the king of PRIDE. He fights at a lighter weight but he fights like he's 2 bills, just like Hughes. -
This folder will be a gem to have once the UFC really gets hot. Thank Pete for this hook-up. Nice idea guys.

The Heavyweight fight impressed me the most. Rashad threw better combos and bobbed and weaved better than he did in the previous fights on TUF. Imes was more agreesive and showed "heart" but still has a ways to go before I'd even call him a Poor Man's Tim Sylvia. Both of these guys shocked the hell out of me by putting on an entertaining. It wasn't great but the fight went the distance and both guys came out looking strong IMO. Neither one has anything to be ashamed about. Diego and Diaz was awesome. This is a feud that all of us could be seeing happen on and off for the next 10 + years. I forgot how Diaz was like 22 while Diego is only 23. Diaz is one of the most creative and savy guys I've seen squirm around on a UFC mat in years. For a moment, I thought Diego could have locked on an armbar to Diaz but he squirmed out. I also did a spit take when the knee got dropped in this fight. I thought for sure the fight would be declared over but I was happy to see it continue. These two had a war with one another and I look forward to seeing these two duke it out again. Diaz getting into Diego's face before the fight started and Big John shoving Diaz away like a rag doll was funny. Hell, I thought Diaz might have been nuts enough to do something about that but thankfully he kept his cool. Funny stuff. The Stevenson and Cummo fight was spectacular. Luke, of all people, looked gassed to me in this fight towards the end but he still hung in there. I thought both guys deserved a contract after the fight but Stevenson hung in there well with Luke and wore him down on the ground. I was hoping to see more elbows dropped on the heads when both guys had the other pinned on the mat since Luke looked good doing those in his TUF fights. Again, this fight impressed the hell out of me like the heavy's fight did. I thought Kenny Florian was about to get choke slammed by Cope. Florian's tough though and hung in there with Cope and I hope he keeps improving. He's not a bad fighter. Overall, I thought this Finale was outstanding with no dull fights. That's all I could ask for from the UFC and they delivered that to me last night.

I guess Taue vs. Kawada should be signed shortly now. Still though, it's like 1996 all over again in Japan... Someone new needs to be elevated and I'm not sure if Morishima is the answer to NOAH's future. I liked the student/mentor match Kobashi and Rikio had but Morishima is the Takeshi all the NOAH fans seem to dig more, which is unfortunate since Rikio's the better worker.

I was being sarcastic, MJ. Thanks anyways.

Okay, minus RVD then, the Canadian Mafia in TNA could be a hit.

Some Hart news via Meltzer: I remember reading about Hart's insurance case but never heard the results. Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle, anyone? Whoever doesn't die first, wins the match.
-
Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christian, and Rob Van Dam debuting in TNA by jumping JJ on a show, ala the Outsiders vs. WCW, could be special.

That's still a great fight to watch. Those two guys put on one of the best fights I ever saw in a UFC ring.

It's not worth it man, it's not worth it...

Kobe Bryant's got a rough road ahead of him but I was more than pleased with last night's result of the LA/Denver game. Bryant's so clutch when he needs to be. I thought for sure he was going to put the Nuggets away at the end of the 4th.

No, the exact opposite. And yes, Nash's tooth pick sized legs was disturbing.

Oh man, there's a guy at one of the gym's I go to who lifts up his shirt half way after he does some sit-ups and all he does his rub his goddamn stomach...in front of everyone. He does this for 5 minutes in front of everyone and I just can't help but laugh when I see homeboy doing this. Nice guy...but really fuckin weird.

Pecs, biceps, triceps, and deltoids are like the only parts Carrot Top works out. DO ANY OF YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE HIM??? I nearly puked in my mouth after I saw CT's bodybuilder pics...

I'm thinking the UFC should either let Andrei fight two guys at the same time on UFC shows or hold a heavyweight tourney where Andrei gets to steamroll through 3 guys in 3 rounds. This season's heavyweight "fighters" were a fuckin joke and a half.

Suge is never going to die. The ironic death would be if one of his skeeze's put a bullet in his head instead of Tupac's ghost.

Give me your ear Dama... Do not run on cement or concrete. Do not run on a tread mill machine either. Sidewalks and tread mills will help you feel like the Dynamite Kid when you reach your middle aged years since you have *no* cushion coming off that hard shit. Run on grass, sand or an all-weather track at some local school or whatever has one. Walk on treadmills instead of running like a convict on them. In the long, long run, you'll gain nothing but bad knees that ache all the time. Hell, you could even wind up getting the knee replaced if you're not lucky... I don't drink but, yeah, beer shouldn't set you back on your workouts. You can easily piss and run that shit out of your body the next day. Just lay off doing any keg stands on a regular basis or whatever. It depends on the person, so yes and no. This sort of shit will always vary with folks so the only way you can know for sure is to test this out yourself.

That's why I said run like a prison bitch while lifting for weight, not reps. You'll tone up and become jacked at the same time. You could be benching 3 bills or more in no time if you just keep adding 5 pounds or 10 pounds onto the bench press whenever you lift. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Atkins diet. It seems redundant to me. Growing up, back when I was totally out of shape, I just started to eat more veggies and stocked up on protein shakes. Ignore the candy bars as well. Most of them are made out of goat horns and ears. Yes, I shit you not. PM Brian and bother him into checking out this thread. If you want to know how to really eat healthy, he's your man.

Dama, run bitch, run! Lifting should come 2nd while eating and running should be your primary workout routine shit, Dama. Run on the sand or up a hill made out of sand 3 times a week. For 2 or 3 days, along with the 3 days of running, you should also do bench-press, squats, deadlifts, and a grip of sit-ups/crunches. You need to do all this stuff until you can't stand up straight for a week. If you don't feel sore after doing your workouts, then there's something wrong with how you're doing it all. DA's dumbell routine should also be held by you as if it were the Bible. Listen to that man, Dama. Eat better too. Anything with Vitamin E in it should be made your new best friend too. It helps tighten up any loose skin you might have but that'll only work if you stick to doing crunches and sit-ups on a routine basis. Eat more vegetables instead of fruits. Stock up on bananas as well. Chow on down with that shit like Donkey Kong. Within two months Dama, and working 5 to 6 days a week, with maybe 2 days taken off during the week, you should start to see results. By month 6, I predict you might be looking like the Hulk if you just stick to the core exercises (bench, squat, deadlift) and run, run, run as if you were running from the pigs. Stretch too. Do a stretch and hold it for 2 minutes. Yoga also wouldn't be a bad thing to take up either. Good looking girls love to do yoga and that's always a great spot to meet up with said babes. Good luck Damaramadamu.
