I don't know if I want to laugh or complain about the red phone ringing at the announcer table. I guess Jim Cornette was afraid of the Jarrett Army to make the cliche walk down to the ring to make his rebuttle. The one good thing I can say about the last 10 minutes of the show was that the video recap of the Sting/Jarret feud looked professional. Like I said before Jeff Jarrett should only do his heel promos in video form but if he must do it "live" in the ring then the face must do the cliche beatdown and chase him out of the arena.

If it doesn't include Eric Young saying "I'm gonna get fired!?!?!" then it is wasted time. And referee's should never ever be involved in storylines unless they are going to turn heel and be managers like Bill Alfonso or Teddy Long and making the case even worse is the piss poor acting ability of Slick. The exceptions being Nick Patrick and Lil Naitch Robinson worked in WCW because they rarely talked and kept the performance for the most part in the ring. These guys were henchmen if you will for heels working as part of the emsomble cast NOT acting like fools and overacting as if it was the 1st time on tv. Larry's annoying cadence in his voice with the pauses and such combined with Slick I-drank-one-too-many-redbulls Johnson hyper ass makes the 1 minute Borash backstage interview hard to watch.

I dont think they know what to put on tv week to week other than WWE Films movie commercials and highlights from Raw/Smackdown.

I don't think the short term spike in ratings from the DX appearence is going to help ECW on Sci-Fi in the long run. Dumping unwanted midcard wrestlers on Sci-Fi hasn't exactly helped the ratings much as its like the executives are thinking hey lets have so and so do a few vignettes and debut in a short 5 minute match against Justin Credible....that'll bring in the ratings.

But by having DX on ECW takes away what makes it special. The whole Big Show/Sabu angle will be pushed aside inorder to have HHH & HBK tagging green DX signs around the ring, set, office of Paul Heyman, etc. ECW is for the low-to-mid card wrestlers to showcase their skills and by having the H boys come over to takeover the show pretty much kills whatever momentum ECW had. Its bad enough that the old stars of ECW never get tv time but by having DX do their junivile hijinks on ECW will be seen as desperation attempt to get ratings.

I wonder what the ECW roster will look like in 2007. Like the 2004 Heat/Velocity roster minus the cruiserweights.

It is impossible to make that mile run when there are hurdles, landmines, and you are being chased by family pet.

1 hour of Dana White saying "Do You Want to be a Fighter!?", 50 minutes of Sugar Ray saying "You Wanna to be a Contender" , and 10 minutes of Larry Zybrisco saying "Duh.....chess...."

Its the 5 hours a week of the evil GM storyline that is killing the ratings.
