Well I know this is really late but I just finally saw the movie. I thought it was funny how they said it was based on true events. That usually means that something far away happened that has like one teeny similarity and therefore it is based on true events. Someone got tortured in Asia or something so they made this movie and claimed it was based on true events......probably. I mean didn't the events that TCM is based on happen up North? And wasn't it just one guy killing some kids with a chainsaw? Anyway it wasn't scary. Nothing is really scary. Scary movies these days are just gore and nothing really scary.

Another problem is that the people of New Orleans are still living by this stereotype that Oklahoma is nothing but Cowboys and Indians riding around shooting each other. I don't know how we got this reputation since it hasn't been that way in this state for over 100 years.

Apparently the fans of New Orleans are now claimin that the Hornets are "tainted" and they don't want them anyway. The sports talk radio down there is doing nothing but bash on Oklahoma and talk about how we're thieves and we have no respect for the crisis or the city.

Well OU wins their 5th straight game and now are on a collision course with Kansas for second place in the Big XII. I don't think they have a shot against KU but we'll see.

I never did dumbass. And what does that have to do with this discussion at all? Nothing. So has anyone here been to Phog Allen Fieldhouse? I mean it's historic and a game there is supposed to be an experience....but missing the Super Bowl? Since I'll be on the road at the time of kick-off and when the game ends I plan on taping it and avoiding all results and then watching it as soon as I get home.

Dude OU beat the #5 team and they're on a 4 game winning streak. They deserve some consideration for at least #25.

Wow......OU beat Texas by 10. I was down on the floor and it was so fucking loud. My partner next to me kept trying to talk to me and I couldn't hear anything he was saying. I've also never covered a game with that much hoopla. Dickie V was hanging around and so were the Gameday Guys. It was weird.

Oh and what the fuck is up with trucker hats? And girls wearing snowboots? Two other fashions I hate.

You mean like Brodie Croyle from Alabama has? That hair that is like short in the front and feathers back to long? I guess maybe my hair is half-assed long but right now that's because I'm trying to grow it longer. And it's textured so it doesn't look really like all the same length.

What do you guys think is the worst style that people wear these days? Like what do you see people wearing and go "what the fuck? that's horrible" or a hairstyle that makes you cringe. For me on the clothes and hair would be the kids that try to look as 70's as possible. In the end they don't look like they belong in the 70's. They look like they belong at some retro club. The clothes just scream "overpriced retro knockoffs" and the hair is usually pretty bad too. I also hate the dumb dickhead look which I've gone over before. And flip flops with baggy jeans. Does anyone here do that frequently? Ok well I'll let you guys expound on it b/c I know there's gotta be some clothing style or hairstyle that people are sporting these days that you hate. *PS* We've all gone over pink before so maybe that's better left unsaid.*

Well I'm going to Norman tonight to cover the OU/Texas game. Texas is on a roll and OU can't score so it shouldn't be pretty but they cater good food for the media so that's always a bonus.....and hanging out with all the other media is fun too.

Oh I've heard other writers go on about how bad OKC is being and how mean we are or whatever.
