I would also like to draw attention to the fact that ESPN finds one star or good story and hops on it like no other. Like Danica Patrick. I saw the Nekromantix the other night and they were just plain awesome. I really really enjoyed the concert and the genre of music in general. Who else has ever heard them?

Yeah well I just DL'd the Dropkick Murphys "The Warriors Code" CD and everytime I tried to burn it it'd get to about the 12th song and then say an error has occured and shut the program down. What's up with that? Is it just a bad download?

I hear you on the Emo stuff. The punk rock bands(i still use the word punk rock loosely since i've become jaded to that whole scene) kept bitching on stage about the Emo bands.

I did try out I just didn't make it. I did play Rugby for OU though. And honestly this is the smallest I've been in years. Those other pictures just hid it well.

Who here uses Soulseek? It was just recommended to me by a friend and I was considering DL'n it. He said for just pure music it's much better than Kazaa and you don't get the annoying fuck ups on song titles and half songs or looped songs that kazaa often produces.

Yeah 2003 was the first year I went and god damn I loved AWK.

I figured as much. No wonder all the teeny bopper girls were there. Hey Youth n Asia do you ever have a problem with those dickheads that don't really listen to the music but just go b/c there is a concert and then they get into the mosh pit and start fights?

So for the 3rd year in a row I made a trip to Dallas and went to the Warped Tour. It was better than last year where I saw The Casualties, Flogging Molly and Bad Religion but it rained the whole day but not better than the first year where I saw the Suicide Machines, Less than Jake, Dropkick Murphys, AFI, and Rancid. I go to the show in Dallas every year and it was hot as fuck and 4 bucks for water and 8 for beer. The main bands I saw were Tsunami Bomb, The Unseen, Dropkick Murphys(my fav), and The Transplants. I left though before The Offspring went on. This year the show was really dominated by My Chemical Romance(never ever heard them. what kind of music do they play?) and everyone seemed to be there to see them. However DKM gets better everytime I see them and they were dragging guys out of the audience to sing Barroom Hero. Overall it was a great show and I recommend it. Unfortunately b/c it's this huge festival it's full of dickheads that want to start trouble and fights in the mosh pit. When I go to shows at my local venue there's never fights. But this year there were all kinds of dickheads starting trouble. I met Tsunami Bomb too but didn't get to meet DKM even though that'd be the 4th time I met them. I got an awesome DKM shirt that on the front has a skull with a knife in it's mouth and a Red Sox hat on with 2 bats crossed behind it like swords and on the back it's go a pic of Varitek jacking A-Rod in the face and it says "No Glove, No Love"

See that's the problem with society. I mean I drink and stuff but I don't get piss drunk every weekend. And for some reason(especially in college) if you don't do that you're viewed as uncool and outcast. It's screwed up and MTV does nothing but further perpetuate that.

Can't we get a show that isn't full of drunken party animals with a frat-boy mentality? They need to get a couple of straight edge cast members on some show and see how that turns out. `

The little series that wasn't competitive suddenly is. God damn that game was awesome. Hopefully the Pistons force an ultra-competitive game 7.

No Cabbage. I know it's a new start. But in the comic books Batman created the Joker. So I mean......how is the Joker in the movie without Batman creating him?

Couple of things: -With the Joker scene in this one.......Batman created the Joker. But he acts like he doesn't know anything about the guy when he sees the card. Did they ditch that part of the story? -Wasn't Ras arab in the comic? -I have a friend that refuses to see this b/c he's all like: Tim Burton is the best ever! Nobody can be better than Michael Keaton as Batman! And then he said something that just kind of annoyed me: "You know what they should do! The last scene of this movie should be Batman dropping in on the criminals like in the 1st one! That way they tie together!" And then I said "This is a new story" "Yeah but it's Batman Begins! It's the beginning. It's a prequel!" "No it's not. It's a new series." This argument went on for a while. Then there was this girl I know that told me she liked Batman Begins and thought it was a prequel. When I explained to her that it was not connected to the other films she said "oh well that sucks. I hate it now." Seriously people need to get the Burton movies and what not out of their heads and just watch this as a whole new Batman series.

Both these teams play to the tempo of their opponents. That's why they were more fast paced against Phoenix and Miami. Now they're playing another defensive team so they're playing to one another's tempo. That simple. And no people can complain about the game being boring. But you shouldn't fucking complain as if you want Vince McMahon to come in and book you the most exciting finals possible. I'm sorry but that's just not how it works in real sports. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whoa, what series were you watching? Only thing "fast-paced" about the Detroit-Miami series was Dwayne Wade. And Dama, just because YOU don't think it's boring doesn't mean that other people don't have the right to feel a different way. I personally don't see what's so entertaining about games that have ended with double-digit wins every single team, but I have to expect that these last two-three games are going to be a lot closer. Game 1 wasn't too bad in the second-third quarters, until Manu and the Spurs just completely annihilated them in the 4th. I think the best series of these playoffs thus far was Phoenix-Dallas. It was frustrating to not see either play defense, but that was the last memory I have of the Suns executing their game to perfection, and that was fun stuff. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not saying that it can't be boring to you but don't bitch about it like it was booked wrong. That's driving me crazy saying stuff like "Well the Pistons/Spurs are playing the ratings will be down. Not a good match" as if they fucking booked the wrong title match.
