Don't flatter yourself. Everyone got into arguments with Damaramu. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah you ain't special. I argue with anything that moves biatch. Anyways my strategy this year is to stubbornly pick against OU in the UCLA, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, possible Big XII title, and bowl game just to hopefully jinx them in the other direction. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When will you learn? You can't ANNOUNCE a reverse jinx. It becomes a reverse-reverse jinx. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well it's only a national title game jinx and we won't make it their this year so I guess I don't need it.

They gave a huge list of schools with QB controversies on ESPN the other day. It seems to be going around all over the country. I think this may end up being one of the most interesting years in college football in quite some time. For me it'll be weird b/c it'll be the first year in 6 years without my team in the national spotlight.....but I'm glad we're out of it. Now if we screw up everyone won't be talking about it.

Yeah he was suspended last season but wasn't Brian Randall supposed to be better than Vick anyways?
-
Why did Pedro pull out anyways?

Man the ACC is going to have 2 divisions this year aren't they? I wonder what that'll be like? The Coastal and Atlantic division. Isn't FSU in a division with literally nobody else to challenge them really? I saw the Athlon Sports preview today and man it's all fucking screwy. It's Top 5 went like this: 1)USC 2) Tennessee 3) Iowa 4) OU 5) FSU Now I'm a huge OU homer as you all know but I would not put them anywhere above 7. And where's Texas in that top 5? Everything I've seen actually projects them as #2.

Remember Brave Fencer Musashi? That was an awesome game.

A deeper Zelda story wouldn't be a problem but I mean if you tried to turn it into a turn-based game I'd see a huge revolt from the fans. And I'd lead the charge. And don't have Link start talking and blabbering all the time either. I like silent Link. Now back to what I was going to say about cutscenes. I agree that if done right they're awesome. Put them in every now and then to get you into the story and show you something big. But by no means add them for every little thing and have them after every little boss fight or make it to where I can't play the story and I'm told it for longer than 10 minutes. Cutscenes longer than really 5 minutes are absurd.

I think Texas may be taking a more talented team into tOSU. But then again it's tough to play in the horseshoe and we know how Mack coaches. Although I think they game is going to be a close one. It seems that most OU fans I talk to are calling the Texas game a loss already but everyone else is saying "Well Texas needs to beat OU to prove something to me! And I don't think they can do it!" They'll have the talent and experience edge this year but we have the mental edge. Especially if tOSU smacks them around.
-
Where do they play A&M at? And I really think they'll beat OU. I hear a bunch of people say OU will lose to A&M. Please we've lost 1 home game in 6 years and we own A&M in Norman. OU's a horrible road team though. Probably the worst road team of teams at the top. They'll lose to Texas, Texas Tech, and possibly UCLA(though i don't think UCLA can stop the run).
-
Well this year UCLA will enter the Coliseum. I don't think they'll win. Hell I wonder how they'll feel when the team USC pounded comes into their house and beats them? Probably won't feel too good. But anyways how the hell will USC not be in the national title game? I mean I keep hearing it's tough to go into Oregon but still....Oregon's not that good are they? Maybe going into ASU(they do go into ASU right?) will be a challenge but USC seems to play to the level of their competition. When they play good teams they beat the fuck out of them. When they play bad teams they play them close. Cal seems to be the only one to not get pounded when USC plays good teams. I mean maybe Cal has a shot but not after those offensive losses. I don't think they'll be able to handle USC at USC. So really.....who doesn't have USC going to the Rose Bowl? Now I don't think they'll win it but they'll definitely go.......well if they play Texas they'll win it.
-
I honestly think Texas will enter the season ranked #2.

Hell I think Michael Hart is close to the level of Adrian Peterson. I don't think he's as good on a pure RB standpoint but I think he is an AWESOME running back and hell I'd have him on my team any day.

Lloyd Carr is a retard if he can't win something meaningful with Chad Henne and Michael Hart. Those dudes are awesome and they were just freshmen!

Yes a movie when something extremely important happens is great. Like in Final Fantasy 7 or 8 or hell even 9. But Xenosage is just absurd. You walk and there's a movie. If the movie is so long that I have to put the controller down and lay back like I'm watchin a movie then it is absurd. You don't need a movie for every little detail. and that's exactly what Xenosaga had.

Did anyone see Trev Alberts Top 5 whatevers? His Heisman contenders were(in no paticular order): 1) Matt Leinart 2) All of USC's offense(he said they had 5 contenders on offense for heisman) 3) Chad Henne 4) Vince Young 5) Gerald Riggs Jr. His reasoning for not having Peterson on the list was weird. He said without Jason White he won't accumulate the numbers. I know what he's trying to say. Defenses won't be keying on White anymore. But without White wouldn't the offense be more focuses around Peterson allowing him to put up Heisman numbers? And where's Michael Hart on that list? I mean I know he's just a sophomore too but that dude is awesome. His Top 5 Overrated were(once again in no paticular order): 1) OU 2) Tennessee 3) Miami 4) Notre Dame 5)???? didn't hear about it. Now why are OU, Notre Dame, and Miami overrated? First of all OU will lose 2-3 games this year and most people have them placed at 7-10 on the Top whatever list. At the end of last season weren't most 7-10 teams 2-3 loss teams? So how is that overrated? I haven't heard anyone even mention them in relation to a BCS bowl(not even me. i think they'll lose to Texas and Tech) Notre Dame? Who is saying Notre Dame is going to set the world on fire? And Miami....once again who is saying Miami will set the world on fire? I mean Ohio State needs to be on that list if we're listing overrated teams. I hear so many people saying they're going all the way.
-
Well who the hell is going to beat USC anyways? They won't face anyone that has a real shot at knocking them off until the National Title game. Which I'm positive they will be in. It'd take a massive stumble for them to lose. Though I think that game against Arkansas will rule.
-
Yes that's it.......not that I haven't made a bunch of other posts with this sig or anything. And yes! Ok the deal is I hate the dude that wrote this and he's a pompous jackass tOSU homer on the MB over there. And I just wanted to see someone with intelligence rip it to shreds. You think I'm bad? Go visit that board. The homers are out of this world! I almost renounced my homer card I became so frightened of these people. Anyways I'd also like to add that if Tennessee wins the National Title Peyton Manning will celebrate his alma-maters accomplishment and then the next week get stomped by the Pats in the AFC title game. It's just the way the world works....(that was a joke by the way for anyone that took it seriously) Oh and will someone please explain to me why tOSU is rated so high!? I'm seeing them Top 10 on a lot of lists......and I don't remember them being able to score well at all last season.
-
Way to early to talk about it but god dammit....it's never early for football! Here's the Top 10 most anticipated games from cfbmedia.com. Another website I frequent and board I post on(the owner is a sooner fan *wink wink*nudge nudge*) I thought this was a good article: http://cfbmedia.com/news/july7art12005.html tOSU vs. Texas should be interesting because I mean it's two of the most hated programs in the country going at it! I think it'll be fun to watch. Also did he actually say that OU and Texas was a fast growing rivalry? He did and when confronted about it on the message board he tried to say that even though they have been playing since 1900 the games weren't a real rivalry until 96. Yeah whatever. Anyways I'd also like to make a way to early prediction. The Tennesse Volunteers will win the National title by beating the USC Trojans 35-28 in the Rose Bowl.

Every little fucking thing in Xenosaga seemed to require a damn FMV or cutscene. That's why I had to quit the game. The beginning of that game in the ship should've taken about 20-30 minutes from the time you started the game till the time you got to the bridge. It took like 2 hours....maybe longer! I quit around that mark! *character is walking* "I think I want a coke!" *cut to 30 minute scene about the coke machine and it's history and how much the character likes coke* That's what it's like. Just trivial bullshit.

Not me. I'd rather read. I hate having to watch games. At least with reading I can read it faster than they can talk it. I find myself on games with huge movie scenes yawning constantly and wondering what else I could be playing.
-
It's not just all RPG's. It's becoming all games. As a matter of fact college football is the only thing anymore that can really hold my interest hard. And good FPS. I just don't like cartoony stuff and for some reason I viewed Doom III as cartoony. I didn't like it at all. But stuff like Halo, The Medal of Honor Series, and what not I found to be awesome. And Resident Evil 4 held my interest hard.
-
Ok well I just got bored with that one for some reason. I have this fear that I'm growing out of video games b/c I've been getting bored with them easily. Then again I think it's just crappy games with crappy movie scenes that don't end.
-
I started to play MGS3 and got kind of bored and quit playing. Is it worse on the movies than MGS2?

Is this an epidemic that is plaguing games these days? Especially RPGs? I haven't played a good RPG in like forever and when I play one I'm assaulted by FMV and movie sequences that never end. My friend said "Well it's like reading the endless dialogue in old ones!" Yeah well guess what? I can read it and click faster than these morons can speak it. It's driving me crazy. What happened to gameplay? I mean I'm playing a video game to play an actual game. Not to watch a god damn movie. I have no officially joined the Xeno-hate camp. Now don't get me wrong. I loooooooooved Xenogears and always will. But I started to play Xenosaga and after it took me an hour and a half to pass a part that should've taken 20 minutes on a normal game I was frustrated. But then when I couldn't walk 5 feet through the ship at the beginning without some useless FMV sequence starting I had to quit. Fuck that. Is this starting to drive anyone else crazy? Next thing you know I'm going to pop in NCAA 2006 and be assaulted by a gigantic movie sequence that I can't pass through before every game.
