I will be at the Nebraska game on Saturday. It should probably be the coldest game of the year. And god dammit it's the first game I haven't had to wake up early to get to. Thank god. I didn't go to the Houston game so I have yet to experience a night game in Norman. Now I get to.....I can't wait. And hopefully we drop half a hundred on these corn fed bastards.

I dunno. As long as Pete Caroll is coaching. Then again USC hasn't been all that impressive this year. Oh funny stat. The year that OU won the national title they barely escaped OSU and A&M. Yeah apparently every team I like is hated. Well then people are going to have to start getting tired of USC b/c I have a feeling they'll be good just as long as OU. Hey maybe people will have to sit through USC/OU every year and get tired of that.

They have 7 National Titles. The record is something like 13 by ND. If Stoops coaches at OU for the next 20 years they will surpass ND.

Well I have news for everyone that is tired of OU. As long as Bob Stoops is the coach they will always win 10 games and probably be in a BCS bowl.

Yes but people take their frustrations out on OU because we have been the victim of circumstance. But still. We come from behind or we play a close game and we're just not as good. USC does it and it's courageous. I dunno if I should be flattered b/c people expect more out of us apparently. They seem to expect us to beat everyone by 50. Or else I should be offended b/c people just want to find excuses to bash us and have an extreme double standard.

Yes but people hate on OU as if it is their fault. Just like last year. It was out of our hands and we were just playing the cards dealt to us. Why should we be hated? The system should be hated.

Well let me put it to you like this. Since Bob Stoops has come to OU: 1999: 7-5 lost Independence Bowl 2000: 13-0 and won the National Title by beating up media darling FSU 2001: 11-2 and beat Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl 2002: 12-2 went to the Rose Bowl when many said that they didn't belong there b/c of the conference they were in then went on to show everyone up by beating the hell out of Pac-10 darling WSU 34-14 2003: went 12-0 in the regular season. Everyone was saying they were the greatest team of all time and could beat some NFL teams then they experienced a complete meltdown against KSU and LSU including having there QB playing with a broken hand and foot. So you figure out why we're so hated. We're good. And we're good every year.

I just rented it and have played it for the first time. I remember how daunting the cities in the other ones looked at first. Same deal here.

See that's another problem. For some reason OU is lambasted for having to come from behind against A&M and playing OSU(an intense rivalry game on the road btw)close when USC is praised as having a courageous come from behind win at Stanford and Oregon State and praised for playing a close game with Cal. It makes no sense.

I think that the score matters in every game to the twits voting. Well seriously I guess I should give them some leeway b/c they can't watch every game. But it just seems that they don't bother to find anything out about the games. They just look at the scores.

That was before Stoops realized that he needs to win by big margins to impress the human voters. If he does that then they all go "Ooooh look! OU beat this team by 60!" instead of saying "OU only beat this team by 30!?" when all they're looking at is the score and not realizing that OU controlled the pace of the entire game. That's the problem here. The human voters only look at scores and don't realize how some games actually are.

I played at my friends house today. After I got done whipping his ass in multiplayer I moved onto the single player campaign and had a blast. I was good....I mean GOOD at Halo. One time it was me, 2 girls that had never played, and a sucky girl against 4 good players in team deathmatch. Final Tally: My team(except me): 4 Me: 38 The other team won b/c I can't do it alone. Me and my friend Chris are good. We once did us against everyone and whipped everyone's ass. So I hope my skill transfers into Halo 2.

Well apparenlty in the 2 big Heisman Polls: ESPN and the other one(can't remember it's name) OU reigns supreme. In the ESPN one AD is still on top. In the other one Jason White is on top. I agree with White being above Leinhart just b/c he's done more than Leinhart this season. He's been more valuable to his team IMO. B/c when AD is shut down like lately without White OU would be fucked. Not to mention White's awesome. 25 TD's and 4 INTs. That's about a 5 to 1 TD/INT ratio. And I'm guessing he's going to get about 10 more this season. And I doubt that Nebraska or Baylor can intercept him. So we're looking at White ending with 35 TD's and 4 INT's. That's better than what he had last season. He had an 8 to 1 TD/INT ratio last season(40 TD's and 5 INT's).

Rumors are flying around on the local radio station that OU is going to drop 70 on Nebraska. Actually there's people saying that it's going to be worse than the Texas A&M game in Norman last year and that Stoops is going to be an ass about it. Hmmm.......change of attitude suddenly by Stoops. What's the deal?

OU picked up about .02 on Auburn. Uh-oh everyone stand back! This race just got out of reach for Auburn!

Ok anyways. I'm reading that OU put more ground between themselves and Auburn but then I'm looking at it and it looks like Auburn gained on them. Hmmm........

So the undefeateds didn't deserve to be champ the years they won it? Tennessee, FSU, OU, Miami, and Ohio State didn't deserve their titles?

Texas in a BCS bowl? They'll screw it up somehow.....they always do. Or OU will screw it up for them like last year by losing and stealing the at-large bid Texas was going to get. Hehe.

Oh and does anyone think the Chiefs have a shot a the playoffs? Even as a wild card? After last year I said "They need a defense to get good." so they fired the Defensive Coordinator and he goes to Texas(snicker) and I'm thinking "Alright!" but no way.....same crappy defense.
