You are missing the point. If THESE are the reasons for our goose being cooked a different way of going about getting what we want should be tried. Staying the course has gone flat. -

These are cool stats Sledge. Keep it up. -
Looks like a good buy to me. Is that match with the Midnights the one where they won the NWA Tag Titles? The one that isn't a scaffold match, I mean.

Well if the military isn't up to the task an alternative is needed. If we can't count on them to what is right, then it makes us wrong. I do not want to be wrong. If the point of this is to make us SAFER then lets get to it already. But I hate to point to the scoreboard, but we are lesser 1600+ soldiers. And YES our borders ARE vulnerable! But you don't eliminate a threat by killing or torturing someones father no matter how just the cause. It won't be long before the son is old enough to be the enemy too. What would you suggest we do with him? Kill HIM too? Does that sound like being on the side of RIGHT to you? Maybe my expectations ARE too high. But imperfections and all this IS supposed to be the greatest country in the world. How about we start acting like it? And yes I DO realize that the media is fanning the flames. But I doubt everybody regardless of their poltical views buys in to this everytime. I HAVE been told what it is we are supposed to be doing by being where we are. I have just judged that it isn't worth it going about it in this way. Nor do i forsee it (because of our strategy) getting any better for us in the future. -
Barring injury, he SHOULD go all the way with his slow burn to the top push. Right now he is rounding out the mid-card very nicely by putting on some memorable matches. HBK did wonders for the guy during the tournament as putting him over in the ring "as a threat" to the upper card. His push sort of reminds me of Randy Savage's run with the IC title. In so far as once his run with the IC title is over fans will want to see what he can do at the next level. The promos will come along I believe.

Its fun to think about cuz it could be just about anybody. I vote for Neidhart. Just for fun .

Thus my faith in humanity is restored somewhat. I Dled a bunch of tracks from Cena's CD and I would say it a good for a debut. I hope he keeps plugging away at it. Creative stuff. He likes playing with the words and he didn't cater it to the masses (i.e. little kids). Well done. Good luck overcoming the wrestler tag though.

I guess books can be dangerous in the spread of IDEAS. Depends on what you are threatend by. The comment about the bible is a good one considering it history but the real danger there has always been its readership.

QUOTE I don't see what is so wrong with people wanting to be on the side of right. If the US fucks up and does things that are wrong the US SHOULD be called on their shit. It's a war FOR the United States of America. If we are right then we are right. No we can't be that way ALL the time. But I am not convinced that my country IS on the right side at all times. People can call me all the names they like on a message board, but I will keep my conscience clear. I'm not quite sure what you are saying here. Are you saying it's bad or good for people to say that they believe in their country, or something else completely? huh.gif Justice, What I am saying is I want to be right about this war on terror. Yet all I can think about is how we got here. (for example)The CIAs involvment in Afganistan during the war with the Russians maybe have demoted them from being a superpower for sure. But now we have this instead? THIS is what I voted for? Anytime a news story like Gitmo, or AG Prison, or flushing Korans down the toilet I cringe ay what a huge PR fuck up it is. What happened to winning their hearts and minds? You can't JUST put the blame on the media and cry bias! These people believed it because they don't trust us and these (the above) are among the multiple reasons why. This has been a poorly run operation from the beginning. You can pick all the truths, half truths, and lies wherever you want to find them and twist them to mean whatever you want. But one thing remains undeniable... We will NOT win this war with force. It will NOT help us to torture detainees, criminals, POWs or whatever you want to call them. Sure Saddam is out of power, but Americans are STILL in danger and will remain that way until a compromise is met. Which of course means that ALOT people each side considers to be the real criminals are going to get away scott free. Sad to say, but it is probably the price of peaceful SOLUTION to this problem. To have no more worrys about our borders, or another 9-11 to make the first one looking small. I have no problem understanding why someone would (or want to) believe in their country because I WANT to. It's just going to take a real big shift in policy to get me to stand with them. I hope that clears it up. -
Oh man does Cobra make me laugh though. The killer guy (yanno NOT AHnold) and all his (pig) cheesy (pig) satanic "subtext" has line after line of awesome dialoge. Stallone has his fair share too ("Hey dirtbag, you're a lousey shot. I hate lousey shots"). Oh the laughs. That shit will never be unfunny. You know it wasn't all that long ago that we were all still afraid of heavy metal and the devil. Classic 80's.

Director Oliver Stone busted for drugs and DUI.

As opposed to what, a Stone movie of someone else's? He did write Scarface. Which I saw the other night and was reminded as to how crappy it was. DePalma directed. -
Its a very uninteresting story. A short one but still very uninteresting. Actually, I don't know. I thought it was a made up word.

So the question I think is: Are we willing to give up a moral high ground as a means to an end? I for one wouldn't WANT to be on that team. Maybe, if we consistantly kept that moral high ground then "the Arabs" would be more willing to join that team. Of course its waaaay too late for any of that. The piss poor politics of this Bush Admin. will leave us an enemy of every Arab, Muslim, and religious set. Shouldn't we be convincing them that we actually ARE there to help? Iraq is so fucked when we leave. -

Source? I thought they were SUSPECTS--meaning we don't know if they're actually guilty or not. If they're terrorists, then what acts of terrorism have they committed? If they are terrorists supporters, what have they actually done to support terrorism? Thats a great question RJ. Hopefully its understood my post before was done with eyes rolling the whole way. -

and nothing WILL ever be done about it. alot folks won't even care. Apparently something like this will cause people to donate MONEY to Amnesty International. Which invalidates everything they have ever done or will do. Pfft. Liberals! All they want is ALL the money. -
Ugh, typical. The anti-war crowd will eat this with a spoon. But we outta just get used to it. Its a propaganda nation now. Pravda Uber Alles.

Well HHH had his big "return" this monday and to a sad ratings drop. So I guess that'll be SOMEBODY elses fault. Even IF he was the big surprise of the night so to speak. Even IF his return was suppose to be the water cooler buzz for the rest of the week. Blah. HHH is a pretty good wrestler overall. But nobody can stay at that level forever. Its not like the guy doesn't have options. As in wrestling mostly at house shows for a year or so and THEN making a top run again with a good opponent. Benoit was the guy that should have put Batista over at Mania. Think of how different things could be now with the heat that Batista has AND with good matches under his belt as champ. Sigh.

I think Kurt does just fine as a serious heel. His work during his first title reign was great. Him yelling at the Rock about how "I'm gonna FUCKING BREAK YOUR ANKLE" was gold IMO. In the past his feuds with Benoit, Eddy, and HBK were all gold. Tell me you couldn't take him seriously, C'mon! These are his trademarks. Angle was as goofy as he has ever been in the Mania commercial with Christy, but doing that didn't hurt his match with HBK or make it any more difficult to get "into it". What it did do was add to the opportunities for Angle to do different things while he remains active as a wrestler. So kudos.

Kevin Nash. Guy had shit for talent, but thanks to working with some decent people managed to get himself a title run in the WWF.

Someone calls there mom and they go to bed without dessert. My recruiter was a cool guy. Told me jumping out of an airplane was better than sex. His wife must not have been that hot. Even if it is true.
