The problem with Coy is that he doesn't do enough gay shit. You need more twists and flips in your arsenal. Maybe give hims a space flying tiger shooting star phoenix splash fag drop for a finisher. I think the problem that people are finding with him is that his moveset is vanilla and stuck in a time warp. If I ever do come back full time as the Memphis Eel, we need to form a tag team. They fit so well together. If I were you, give Coy an abdominal stretch as his submission finisher.

The death in threes thing is that when one person dies, usually two more will die soon after, within two weeks time usually. And actually, they just found Spalding Gray's body in a river yesterday so I guess that makes two with Herc. I always thought Hayes looked plastered, but you could tell he was trying and he was a good foil for Heenan. I too will always remember him doing the commercials for things like WWF ice creams bars "almost as fun to collect as they are to eat" or something like that.

If I was still doing the HSW that stable would...not even be close to being in it. Mahoney used Big Balls by AC/DC as his theme music and when ERIC BISCHOFF debuted on RAW it was to their Back in Black.

This makes me love Ejiro even more than I did before.

I think Flair vs. Sting vs. Luger is an underrated classic that never gets the props it deserves and probably the best triple threat match I've ever seen. Even when they tagged the other guy in it made sense as to why they did it and each section had its own storyline that all tied together. The overall theme of the show was a lot like Starrcade '89 where they had the singles and tag tourney. I think the execution was better here, but the idea isn't the greatest for what is supposed to be there biggest show of the year that blows off feuds and deliver marquee matchups.

World series of dice was hilarious and I like what he's done with the Leonard Washington character. He has a bit more of a hard "pimp" edge to him than guys like Tron and Tyrone. I would really like to see some more sketches with him. I'm not feeling the keeping it real skits, they remind me too much of the great moments in hookup history from last year. Paul Mooney at the movies was pretty funny and better than the Negrodamus stuff. I loved his last line. "I'm going to make a movie called The Last Nigger on Earth starring Tom Hanks."

If they were to get a t.v. deal I would go for like Wedenesday nights like they have now and Saturday afternoons, which used to be a bastion for wrestling. Instead of attacking Vince, let Vince's ego get out of control and attack you. It makes you look like a major player and like Vince is scared getting your company juice while you purposely don't go against the WWE in order to post good ratings and looking like good sports.

and he went face and aligned with old foe STING. I can't remember if Nikita turned on him later or not, but everyone turns on Sting at some point.

Hey Ced, he didn't mention me either. But that's because I kicked his ass 37 times in a row and he's now slowly using his power as the head of CC top phase Frost out of existence.

I would consider my generation to the be the group of guys I was bumped with or very near too. I consider my peers to be Tom, Z, Ced, Tod, TNT, Danny Williams, etc. I think you after the move to these boards a generation should be considered on who was bumped to the SWF and when. I would even conisder dudes who were around for a cup of coffee, like Vanguard who came in when I did, to even be really of much consideration.

Dick Clark Sued for Age Discrimination
WrestlingDeacon replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
Note how Clark included himself in that dinosaurs line. It might be illegal not to hire the guy based on age, but I don't get the sense that he meant it in a mean or biased way. It's just that he realizes that the industry is being ran by younger people with younger ideas and what Andrews brings to the table they can't use for their current projects. -
I assume you mean Jack Victory who was also one half of the RUSSIAN ASASSINS.

Well, skin is a lot tougher and thicker than your average cheese, so the grater would quickly get gummed up with skin and blood after about the first couple of gratings. There is also the idea that vigorous grating would cause the guy too much pain and he would fight back hard out of instinct or runaway too fast. Also, while the wrestlers truly hate each other, they don't want to kill each other. Cutting a man's forehead right down to the bone could kill him and a guy doesn't want to spend his whole life in jail for cheesegrating someone to death.

I've heard JR once say that wrestling Test was a true test of your wrestling ability. Jake Roberts used to bring Damien into the Rumble to the clear the ring and then the refs would make him get rid of it. My best guess here is that while using a weapon would not get dq'ed in the Rumble, it's not wanted and refs will make you get rid of the weapon before hitting the ring. I've seen Flair hit stuff from up top dozens of times. It's not like he always gets slammed off the top, just like 90% of the time. Let me ask OnlyMe this, what good would a DQ win of a manager hitting his own guy do? How would this get him over or push him higher up the card or in line for a title shot? Usually in a tag match when the heels do the false tag they are in control. When the face makes the tag that the ref doesn't seen, it's usually while he is getting a major ass beatdown. So the referee simply assumes that the heels made the legal tag, because they easily could have while he doesn't believe the face did because he easily could not have. It's reasonable doubt.

Country went through a very poppy period in the mid-eighties too. It kind of broke out of it with guys like Randy Travis, George Strait and Dwight Yokam being able to blend that pop with a traditional sound. Then you had guys in the early ninties like Clint Black and Garth Brooks who took that sound and blended more pop back into it and country exploded. But we are way on the other side of the mountain now and most country producers are missing the forest for the trees. It's like how Vince is saying fuck it to the hardcore wrestling fans and courting that ten percent of the mainstream he had during the last boom thinking it was all about extreme crap and sex appeal and not the true core of the product. Same thing here. Truth is, you always had a certain segment of country that was "tradtional" and a certain segment that was "pop" and they took turns in the limelight. The outlaw era of guys like Waylon, Willie, Kris, the second phase of Johnny Cash's career, etc. was immediately preceeded by the very pop Nashville Sound era with guys like Eddy Arnold and Jim Reeves.
