    Storm comments

Right, finally time to get one with the comments. Open promo that ends up being a special on the website. Read it there people. Read it. And them comment on it to show you actually read it. Opening match: The traditional hype the rest of the show to start things off with. Just incase any of the fans missed all those adverts we put out for the shows. Vlad goes in swinging but isn't a match for the young powerhouse. Edwards is finally carry on some of that stuff he showed against Janus in the handicap match as he swats Vlad down. Very nice putting him over as a big power threat as Vlad's quick counter just gets turned against him and results im him getting slammed again. Now here early close falls make sense, as it's a short match and Edward is strong enough to inflict enough damage. Vlad is still moving a littke quick for someone getting nailed so hard though. Still, as Vlad fights back he uses his speed to take the big man down, rather than his power alone. And Vlad goes after the neck, following on from his own offence so far. Goes for the Front Facelock Choke, gounding the big man and taking him out without outstriking or out powering him. But Edwards is strong enough to just drag Vlad up to fight out of the hold, allowing him to get back on the offensive. But Eddy J goes back to the Powerbomb again and it gets countered. He tries to deadlift out of the Choke again but that gets countered as well, back into the Choke for the win. Well written little opener with a decent story to it. Again making the most of a small word limit to fit a match into. Promo time that actually makes it onto the show: And again wrestlers are using their manages to complain about the booking. What happend to just beating up the boss to complain? Still, it's a helpful insight into the Birdman character and what his motives are and such and such. And a random man in a bird suit just became an interesting character...good job. And now that same man in a bird suit takes on the newest old person on the block: I see Birdman's move away from his first script style. Though I wouldn't write it off as a file experiement. Maybe something to try again after more writing experience. Still, it does make things smoother to read. Good job with hyping Andrea's return and giving her a big ovation. Very nice and makes it look like she's slipping straight back into the groove. Very smoonthly written opening wrestling trade off. It's a standard indy spot fest opening, but it's good to show how closely matches these two are in speed, and it's all basic, carry on that rookie vibe Birdman said he was aiming for. No problem showing off either one's speed here while keeping things simple and easy to read. A little quick on the transistion, and a missed move would have worked better with two fast flyers really. Nice run of chest targeting dives though, which sets up Birdman's finiser nicely and showing how flying finishers can be set up with other flying moves. Basic psych with avoiding the second stinger splash as the race of close falls is on. Birdman fights back and again goes after the chest with the spots to the ring post. Andrea fights back again, misses the dive this time and Birdman his his dive for the win. Definatly a set up from his first match, working in some pysch and all. Main problems are with the selling as it's not really mentioned at all and doesnt really affect either personals style. That and the transistions which are very fist, simple one move afairds. But for someone new it's something that can be worked on without to much of a promblem. And now onto our Hardcore Frat Match. Little stuff to get the stage set for this one, a needing thing in matches held outside the arena. Cool touch having Dustin pull up in his care with his own theme music playing in it. I give props for that idea. I sort of get the Rodney King refence, but I know enough about it know it helps set the scene of Dustin just getting mugged by the frat lot here. Not keen on the sudden face come back thing, but at least he takes out the two none wrestlers without a problem. I think having lots of frat jokes on hand to spice up the commentry helps Hunt to strenghten it up rather than have it being too dry. Hunt slightly got him self into a corner where it goes seem like Dustin can actually win this match, but at least he has Dustin getting in a few house related spots and still trying to sell his knee as he does them. Still, he does get Hunt over as a really cocky and dick heel just screwing over the face in this situation. I'm amazed that Dustin is still moving with the bumps his taking. That commerical break was just random, but at least it was funny. Ahhh, a run in by a rival frat...not things look slightly less unfair for Dustin. DDT through the table (lots of table bumps here I notice) And to the outside of the house and Dustin looks like he could have this thing won if it werent for the crooked ref and all. A lot of the comes backwards are just simpe striking stuff, but it's the best that can be done in an odd hardcore match like this one. Dustin still wants to go flying even with a bad leg but gets caught again, another last second kick out. Then it's finally only. Ok gimmicked hardcore match. But the balance is way to far against Dustin and it leans to a lot of his comebacks having you wonder when the hell is he gonna go down as he doesnt even look like winning due to the ref before far to bent. Promo time again. Pespi Max with Lemon? Oh dear god. And the ICTV Title will be on the line in a No Gravity Match...w00t and all that. And a nice little breaking the forth wall joke about Tom's one. Maddix's ego runs wild on us all again. Mwahaha. And now for our 4way clusterfuck of the night: More Flesher love than you could shake a stick at. Which I'm sure Riley would very much love to do anyway. Usual multi-man intros just to get everyone down into the ring to start off this madness. Odd little counter point to start with, as King and Manson go head to head while Munich and Ced have time for a little handshake of respect. I do like to see all four guys actually wrestling at once in a match like this. Ok it's a 4-way and they're hardly the easist things to write and make great wrestling from, but the effort is always good. King goes straight after Manson's knee but that remembers there are two other guys that could win the match without him so he has to try and keep tabs on them as well. A usal clusterfuck of spot after spot with everyone getting thie offence in turn. Still, the slightly innventive ones back up for the bad situation, like with Ced ducking a pair of clotheslines as he works Manson over, only for Munich's one to take King out. Suicide Dive for a teasing on a set of count outs. Back inside and they pair off again, trading off more spots and another close fall that gets broken up at the last second. Manson's knee gets worked over again as Ced goes up top but gets crotched. A cool Superplex/Powerbomb 3 man stop, nothing new but good to see in mulitman matches. Manson takes advantage and tries to sneak in a cover but it gets broken up again. Ced takes Munich to the outside and dives after him, finisher reversal between Manson and King, Manson gets the cover and the win. Soild mid card multi man, definatly one of the better one's spot wise in a while. And showing that Manson can write a decent match when he tries and this was a 4 way. Nothing majoryly great, but well written, following, described well enough and decent shifts in action. And now for a nice one on one match folks: More Flesher loving jokes for the opening. And Clark's problem of having taken a Demonstar on the show before his highlighted as well. Heh @ the parralell about the Whipwreck/Cactus street fight match to this one. Slow, paced start to help build up some tension for this one. Clark gets draw into a striking dual with JD and promotly looses, so he has to fall back on his speed, even with his bad neck, to hold his ground. Rana, clothesline in the corner for Clark. But then JD catches him with a Judo Throw and just Headbutts the shit out of him, showing he can win a striking dual in any way he wants to before just tossing Clark through the air. All the bumps are being discribed as Clark taking back bumps to protect his neck, saving the issue of his completely wrecked neck just for now. Alan's had a bit of a personality transplant as he becomes more agressive in this one. Alan goes after the back to try and set up the cloverleaf, but JD fights out like the tough bastard he is. Lovely moment as JD just kicks Clark right in the nuts, it's almost out of a movie. JD DDT and this one could be over, but Drazon has other plans. And lovely payback as Clark just uppercuts JD in the nuts for payback. Alan goes straight back to attacking the back, again looking for that submission. Clark just jams the chair into JD's back to try and get a submission from it here. JD fights out of a Boston Crab just to take another chairshot to the back. JD counters out with an Iron Claw and a great little controling spot where he counters Alan's strike to make openings for kicks to leg, setting up the Crucifix Legbar. But he pauses rather than going after the neck again and Clark grabs contol back. Finally Clark locks on the Cloverleaf and it looked to be all over. But he battles out with the piece of cable that was choking him out in the first place. I have no idea what JD feeling all guilty about the neck are, but it happens again as he has Clark set up for a Dragon Suplex. Kick to the nuts get caught, Dragon Screw, JD's Avenger, it's over. Interesting submissions match, odd way of handling Clark's neck, but it shows how you can work around serious problems like that and make over body parts the focus of a match. And shows that JD does know what he's doing when he shows and he's really intune with his style, wrestling and writing wise. And another much. The least fun of all to review, the one where you lost. (Y) @ Ace's intro interrupting Comet's little welcome back speach just to piss him off. Few lines about the big difference in style beteween these two and the simple ways in which Ace could even it out, unfairly of course. Ace gets written as a complete cwoard and it works really well. He just slaps Dace to start with and inreturn gets nailed with a few chops. Ace tries to take things to the mat but even with his speed advantage, he just gets outpaced and out powered by Dace. Ace tries a fast attack, scores a close fall from a sneaky school then goes back to trying to out Dace again, but as he goes for a Hiptoss, he just gets blasted in the jaw. Ace slips out of a Suplex and gets another fall, clearly showing now that he's got enough of a speed advantage to keep himself in this one and be able to actually do some damange to Dace. Ace gets cocky with his mocking as he dives in for a Crossbody just to get caught at slamed. Close fall so soon makes Dace look strong but even I think it might be over doing it a tad. Series of elbow smashes, Ace sneaks out again but this time Dace just comes straight back to flatten him. And that old thumb to the eye comes into play to help Ace out. Ducks a wild Lariat to hook on a Cross Face Chickenwing, I do like the ACE-HOLE chants as well. Dace finally fights out and nails a Dangerous German for another close fall. Steve the Cameraman makes the perfect heel invervention and allows Ace to nail the Ace Crusher but Dace still kicks out. Ace tries it again but Dace just drills him with a few more Elbows and then Defenestrates him, but Steve invervens again and places Ace's foot across the ropes. Sean Davis runs in, get revenage with a Kendo Sitck shot, allowed Ace to lock on a Deathlock STF for the win. And again Muzz shows he's getting back in the flow and that he's a damn good writer. Can't feel bad about that. Mainly as I was with my gf rather than writing. COUGH *hide's the scratch marks* Tag Team Action now people. Yo and shit. Rev-0 making their first outing as a tag team and the 'new' tag champs make their first outing as well. Much a do about nothing as both teams make their way down to the ring with pyro and all that flasht stuff. Rev-0 just jump the stand in tag champs, trying to start a mugging, but Davis gets dumped over the ropes and Todd saves his stand in partner. 42 Street having a little game of rock paper scissors to see who starts the match before this thing really gets underway. Spike slaps Todd around and tags in Davis. Todd scrambles for the tag but TMM doesn't want any part of Davis, so he gets forced into the ring by the ref. TMM tries to get rapid fire against Davis bust just isn't strong enough and gets planted for his troubles. (Right after being on the phone to my gf for 2.5hours and it now being after midnight, everything is going into rush mode. Live with it.) I mark for TMM breaking out the pant pulling down spot again. And then for TMM trying to hump Davis to force him back into a roll up. TMM and Todd are jelling really well as a team and still keeping the important balance of comedy and serious actions in a match, not making anyone look too stupid. The crowd slowly warming to Mask's actions against Rev-0 works nicely as well, and 42nd Street get the win to show they're real tag champs. No Gravity Match: Johnny scores the first point with a counter to a corner whip. Landon evens the score by skinning the cat and scoring a dropkick. All looks like it's working it so far, cockiness getting the best of both guys to start with. Nice thing with Landon just going straight back up and scoring a second point in a row. Johnny ducks a third Lariat as Maddix goes for it one time to many, neckbreaker, quick fistdrop to even the score. Johnny makes the mistake of chasing Megan as she interferes and gets flattend by Card at ringside. Rolls Johnny back in and Landon scores with and Elbow Drop. Maddix scores with the elbow againas Johnny actually sells the first elbow drop. Landon doesn't go for it again, shoots Johhny into the corner but just gets kicked in the face. MI slam, Maddix's counters with an Armdrag, something different. Johnny fights back and scores a top rope bulldog. Low Blow from Maddix and he goes up again, Johnny catches him, Avalanche German for another point. Johhny goes straight back up just like Maddix did before, Frog Splash but the ref is distracted. Card takes Johnny out with a DDT and wakes Maddix up. Maddix struggles up for another dive but takes to long and Johnny moves. Johnny grabs the chair, takes out Card, then splatters Maddix and scores an SSP for the win. And now finally, at 1Am, the main event: Toxxic's won and all that stuff. Go him. Opeing and stuff. Janus promises mushc death as he would, talk of their past, etc, etc. Toxxic stars off outpacing Flesher again, gets cocky and gets caught with a German Suplex as Tom is smart enough to do a none release version. Bwahahaha @ the SUMA reference! Toxxic tries to take on Flesher at his own game and it costs him. Roll up spots of doom. Toxxic goes back to outpacing Flesher to take him down agian. Tom fights back, dumps Toxxic again, scores an Exploder 98 and goes back to choking out Toxxic. Flesher goes for the Caffeine Bomb again, Toxxic reverse and goes for the Superior Stretch Beta. Toxxic Shock Sydrome for a close fall. Second Rope CB finally gets the win. Janus runs in and takes Toxxic out to end things. MOTN: Jamie Drazon vs Alan Clark - Submissiosn Match. Right, it's almost 1:20 AM and I'm going to bed.
  4. Epic, rambling, mad and a set up. Good work man. Toxxic seems to be getting more and more strange and into himself. Good introduction to the stable and what you plan to be doing and etc.

    PROMO: Business Planning

Well, it's certainly a way to to get some interesting going in the character. Should make for some good midcard shit and probably a fued. Let's just hope Kelly's got the Billions of dollars the fed is worth. But who are the booking staff to blame if the TnA girls go in bra and panties matches, while the talented ladies becoming Hardcore, US and even ICTV champions.

    7/13 SWF Smarkdown HOLT Report

Nope, just didn't know if he knew that it was Toxxic's.

    7/13 SWF Smarkdown HOLT Report

That wasn't WC. Toxxic put it in his match. Just to show his group wasn't gonna be called that.
  8. A "Reverse 450" has been done. Face out, leap backwards and flip forwads. But a "Reverse SSP" would be the same thing. Face out, leap backwards and flip into the SSP. Pretty hard to do without just being a Moonsault. Can do it as a Swanton though.

And it's comment time again and picking the second now regular Match of the Night (Note, every single MOTN choice I make is up for change if enough of you post to disagree and put forwards a better match on the show). Opening promo: My usual crappy promo where I try to crowbar myself into the ME (it'd be nice to have a face in there after all) Opening match. Ohhh... Spike's being pimped out and for the first time it's not as a prision bitch. Anyway, things start of, dramatic spacing but I think it's too early for that, especially in a fast moving cruiserweight title match as well. It also means later on there will either need even more dramatic spacing or it will look less dramatic as a result. But it's good to see the fans crapped on both guys in a heel/heel match rather than having a de-facto face. Makes for a much better atmosphere really. But then it moves into a decent cruiser match, Sly out pacing Spike at start with some simple by flashy counters. Nice to see the he's had one match joke banded around as well. And the 'fucking' joke as well...only in Philli. Sly goes after Spike's knee and an old injury, looking like a good champ that knows what he's pulling off. Spike's actually cracking out some fairly good jokes in the commentry here without killing any flow. Again Sly's cockiness costs him like it almost did against Dustin as Spike has time to recover and nail and enzuigiri. Spike ends up looking on a submission with his legs, which isn't smart for it's for an easy transistion move by Sly. And Sly goes after the knee again and the crowd just dont care...brilliant. I do like the roll up from the Deathlock as it would work as well. This is certain one of Spike's best written matches (barring the over kill on spacing to soon) All very good to read, follows and flows well and seems to have a plan to it. Spike with a come back and going after Sly's neck to set up his finisher. But why is Spike climbing the ropes when he doesnt need to fly to win and has show he can hold is own against Sly on the mat and when brawling. It's a slightly contrived transistion and does break from what Spike was doing. Tease the sudden roll up of doom for some cheap heat as well. Nice to see Spike selling the block to the Sky Surfer as well, a much needed touch. Not sure about the end, with Spike's leg giving out in the bridge but him still albe to pin Austin normally. A little holey in places but far from horrible. Definatly shows what Spike can do when he does try and that he won't have a huge mountain to climb to get better. Promo time: Andrea has the weirdist ringtone ever...really, really strange. Oh, and she's headed to the arena. Back to back Promos: I do mark for the Star Wars joke being a geek. and the jokes about Spike's sexual antics. The certainly seems to be a lot of sex talk in the fed at the moment. Strange people that we are. It's an interesting dynaimc forming between Rev-0 and it's making for a good promo. Nice to see me getting put over, even with my completely whorish character. My Match: I do my thing, I beat the guy...go me with my crap. Hardcore Match goodness now: Few opening jokes that are standard but that I always love. And the fact it's the two wimpist guys in the fed just makes it even more fun. When Muzz is feeling it, he really does remind you that he's a former world champion and that he's got the writing skills to carry pretty much anything off and make it good to read. Sweet Zombie Jesus it's a kick to the nuts. And then an Iron Claw to the match, it's Groin Psych and Muzz is having fun with it. Easily turning in into a fun and well written heel/heel hardcore match that plays off previous matches the two have been in as well. Even Steven the Cameraman gets invloved in this madness before a Kendo Stick comes into play as well. Back and forth hi-jinks with intereferance against both men. Ace Crusher, blocked, Chain Assisted Fist Drop scores....nothing uberly hardcore, but it's built up well around these two guys not being very tough. And in the end, Ace chokes out Gilbert with a nice Kendo stick assisted Inverted Surfboard. Fun little hardcore match that's built around it's situations. Two guys in bird suits fight now match: First time I've seen script style used with action notes on the speaking style as in a real script. Makes a chance, though it seems a little awarkd at times as it's noth something you're used to seeing. Little to much spacing here and there between the lines which draws things out to much, but that's just a minor formatting thing. Not the easiest character to have your first match against, but Birdman does manage, even if it starts off feeling a little rookie-ish due to being a new character. Not much of a match plan, but the wrestling writing is soild and as good as any other new writer. Using things of pacing and description need to be added and worked on. But it's a soild base and a character what will work against more serious opponents. Andother good first match that promeses imporvement and good things in the future. Promo again: And Andrea has more wacky fun on here way to Zenon's office. And now for a Straight Edger against a Drug Nutter: More Pepsi Max jokes. Just wait till they sue us guys, just wait! Usual fun signs jokes and banter to kick with one into gear. Toxxic continues his run of avoiding the best weapons of the strikers, be that a good thing or a bad thing. And Toxxic has to go on the speed offensive against the Hardcore Maniac to have a chance. Toxxic gets shot down in mid air and JD goes straight to the knee, to ground Toxxic and set up the Avenger. Blocks the Figure Four and flies off the ropes but has it cost him, as Toxxic strikes a balance between the damange he'll take flying and the fact he needs the big guns to take JD down. Ok, Toxxic flipping out of the Release German is becoming like Kidman's Powerbomb Counter. JD breaks out a Release German when a none release would have worked. It's a bit of a logic and transistion flaw that needs to be worked on, but it's not a total cliche yet as it's not seen in every match, however mention is made of the landing on the leg, and shows it's hurt but not to any real amount yet. Strike dodging, as Toxxic speed loses out to JD's striking skill and expereince for the knee to get taken out again. I DO really like the botched Kip-Up spot, as I was about to cringe when I saw it up it turned out to be something very good. TSS gets a close fall for Toxxic. But then pays for getting cocky agaisnt someone like JD and just gets low-blowed. Toxxic franticly escaping the Avenger as he likes to walk with his own legs and all that stuff. Not to sure about JD going up top when he plants Toxxic. He's been going for the Cross Legbar then just stops to take a risk he doesnt need. Still, nice Canadian joke in there. The knee buckles completey as Toxxic goes for the Role Reversal, Toxxic counters and is suddenly able to run up the buckles to hit the finish. But oh well, still a good match. Again promo madness: Some mention of oldschool names for a few pops as the journy goes onwards. Tag Team action is up next folks. So enjoy: Nice to see a random team paring coming out as a team. It's a little touch, that with the heels here just makes Landon look THAT much more smug and helps bring Hunt up to everyone else's level by riding the coattails. Ahh, some caption obvious jokes, always good for a pop. Johnny pretty much nosells the Big Country Knee Drop but gets batted to the outside for his troubles anyway. Some good oldschool heel double teaming goin on to the poor face. Dustin makes the save as Maddix breaks out some of his flashy offence. But this just allows Hunt to come in and lay Johnny out again. Hunt comes in and they're going after Johnny's face...dodgy fued coming up I see. Maddix continues to go after Johnny's face, just pounding on it. Dustin makes the save and takes Hunt out as he goes up to. A very sold Face in Peril situation and frustrated partner thing is set up here and it's working well. Hunt is'nt doing anything great, but he doesnt seem out of place or out of his depth. Maddix treating Hunt like cattles shows his ego and all, as well as making for a good heel dyanmic. It's a really good and extended heat segement, but the crowd begging for the tag and cheering Johnny on seems to be slightly lacking in the situation. A teased come back that gets cut of right away for even more heat. A seconded teased come back before Johnny finally makes the hot tag. Dustin and Hunt take things to the outside as Maddix and Johnny carry on the fight in the ring. Dustin comes back into the action to take Maddix down and score a close fall. Hunt finnally has enough of Maddix shoving him around and ends up tripping, just to get slapped by Maddix but Hunt slaps him back. Pair of ducked Superkicks leads to a fast roll up for a quick fall. More hot hots that dont get the job done. Hunt and Johnny are busy on the outside, as Dustin gets caught into the exposed buckle and pinned. Pretty good take match where the only thing that doesn't get played off is the work on Johnny's face. And now for another 'n00b' match: Interestingly, the first match of Aecas' I've actually reviewed since I started doing this you know. Little mask joke to break some of the ice and a some background about Vlad to fill in one ot two things that's good. Just like on the last show, Manson gets offered a handshake and slaps it away. Manson takes control quickly, working over the newer, less expereienced wrestler. But Vlad shows off some of his speed to get control back. Aecas hasn't had any problems shifting over to writing with his new character, so he has no problems with his commentry or the way he calls his action and how everything plays out. Manso gets in a flurry of offenece, but Vlad goes after his bad knee just like Dace did, again following on from the show before. Once again, Manson ends up almost losing to a Single Leg Crab. And again, Manson fights out to a desperate counter to score a Dragon Suplex for an ultra close fall. And again the Diamond Cutter is countered and into the Drop Toe Hold, STF, rolls over to Invert it and Manson taps out. Plays a lot off the match against Dace, steps up the the new character nicely and shows what he can do without doing a squash. More match goodness: I'm really worried about that Allison Onita strapon sight. Really worried. Flesher breaks out his usual range of jokes and witty comments to open things up. And it's very good to see the whole ego trip entrance announcments again as well. I see Flesher's finally dropping the beer belly to as well. Starts off fast and free, with Tom scoring an early one count just to have Ced out pace him and trap him in the counter with a wall of kicks. Flesher dodges and elbow drop to get back on the offensive with a palm strike fully just to be a dick. Allison gets invloved and starts to choked Ced while Tom keeps the ref busy because it's Tom Flesher and he's a dick damn it. Another fall, Ced fights back and again uses his speed to outpace Flesher and take him down to win back the advantage. Another nice Allison spot as he pushes the rope towards Tom as he tries to stop a Mexican Surfboard from being locked on. But it's not enough to stop Ced to out pacing him once again and nail him with a dropkick for another cover. Bwahaha @ Allison being the slut to destract the ref as Flesher just dumps Ced over the ropes to the floor. Back in, Ced takes a Railgun but avoids the German and scores a roll up. Flesher has no problem making the match fair between these two and balancing off their strenghts. And the Springbroad Rana to the outside plays that up perfectly as Ced wipes Flesher out. Very nice little psych with not going up top for a dive, after the missed elbow and the Dangerous match from before. But Flesher recovers, shove off, Double Stomp again playing off and using the ADFII just like he used the Caffine Bomb and it gets the win. Another very good Flesher Match that I can't really say anything bad about. For even more Smarkdown action now: But it's not a match. TMM is out to talk to Todd about the Tag Situation and what's going on...they're teaming up to defend the tag title! Snazzy little promo number and it ties up the whole needing a partner thing. TMM's writing style just makes it so funny to read anyway. And now, for out Main Event of the evening Folks: A sweet range of joke signs in the crowd because all our fans are smart. Damn Smart. It's all just there to show Janus doesn't care and that he's going to rip a path of destruction because he's going to hold onto the World Title. Eddy J might be able to match Janus in power, but he doesnt have the size, skill or expereince to use it, so Janus just goes straight throuhg him like a hot knife. James franticly tries to beat Janus down with power he's not used to facing but doesn't have the skills to face the Hell Machine and just gets planted again. The Wayward Sons have the break out the double teams to really hurt Janus, but even a Frog Splash from Clark doesn't really do anything to the Hell Machine. The just plan dsetroying of Clark and throwing him into the corner for Eddy J to tag to just makes Janus look like that much of a sick monster that can crush all. Finally James looks threatening as he uses his power to take it to Janus and evend o some damange to the big man. But again Janus just tosses James out and leaves both of the Wayward Sons' down on the outside. Oh.....my.................fucking........................god! Janus with a Diving Double Clothesline. I'm not even sure if that should be possible for him....but what a fucking image....my god! Press Slamming Clark back into the ring just to show off. A wild low blow is the only thing that stops Janus' murder advance. Now the Wayward Sons have a chance to get in some real offence agast the monster. Janust just stops that though when Eddy J coes for a Lariat and just gets Knuckle Bombed. But the Clark shifts to the attack, using his speed to dodge away from Janus and nail him. Janus doesn't look invinicable but it still looks like he's only in any hint of trouble because he's facing two men at once. And play size and experience against James being just as strong as well. James tries to interfere and save Clark but Janus just brushes him aside and kills him again. James comes back in again, only to take a Knuckle Bomb combo and get booted out. Again Clark goes for the Rana, but gets a Demonstar Fucking Driver for his troubles. Kibagami created the monster...and now the monster twists the legacy. Brilliant. Janus is the World Champ and again shows he definatly has every right to be. Great match, commentry picking up on everything and even furthing the dynamic of the Wayward Sons. Good work mate. Match Of The Night: It's...... Martin Hunt and Landon Maddix vs Ryan Dustin and Johnny Dangerous (because it was a cool old school tag match and all) As will always be, a mass write in vote for another match will result in a change.

    SWF Storm Card, July 17th!

Zed has said why Janus should have hit the move and why it makes sense. So Rando's got some crap booking to deal with, he can try to work around it. Come up with a range of ways to make the match work. You managed it against JD in the Boiler Room Brawl.

    Promo: "Dead Time"

An interesting and pretty serious promo. Few notes about a lot of real life wrestling situations and all. Certainly the best insight I've seen into the Munich character as I dont really know a lot about him.

Thanks for the comments man. And see people, it's not hard. I think the above is a good way to handle quick comments just so you can say something. Pick a match, read it and just say 10 short things about it and there you go. Simple.

    SWF - THE MOVIE!

I think Necrobutcher from Mayhem could make a decent Dace Night. I've got no ideas other than that. I've never really seen anyone to model Dace after.

    WWE going after E-feds?

There may be no wrestling in Hardcore Natches and Tag Matches will always have a hot tag even if there is no heat segment. You may only use the catch phrases the writers give you.

    WWE going after E-feds?

No woman wrestlers, period. They must all have fake DD chests and have no more moves than a DDT and botch Dropkick.

    Lockdown Comments

Ahh, thanks for that rundown of the show Spike. Nice one man. And now for my usual comments. Opening promo of...opening-ness:- Ahhh, the old Flesher ego is in action. And we have a little speculation of what the World Title Match of doom might end up being like. The clash of egos here and both men's styles makes for some nice little banter. And we have a good old fashioned beat down people! Flesher just gets mugged here, ouch. And here's Zenon who's pissed as well. Good old SE style twist where both men are taken out of the ME. And 1-UP..oh this is going to turn into a WAR. And our first match of the night:- A Johnny Dangerous loving cripple called Johnny. Ok, Spike's on the drugs again people. Nice way of handling heat for a newly turned Spike, having it all against Toxxic. Wrestlers need to drink now? We are finding new and fun ways to stall the start of a mach these days. Gilbert cheap shots Spike after offering him the water and the match is on. But Spike sprays the water into Robzilla's eyes to counter. Palm Strike to the throat, nasty. Still, at least we're seeing that yes Spike can write and the writing itself is far from terrible when he does get off his ass to show. Gilbert with the uber heel roll up for a nearly near fall. Ref gets distracted again as the turnbuckle pad comes off. This is feeling a tad disjoinred byt not completely so. More just a slow match so things arent so firmly linked. Spike blocks a whip to the exposed buckle but Spike outsmarts the rookie and hot shots him onto the buckle. Bed Beat to follow up, Jet stops the assist and Spike gets a pin fall. Again this shows it's pretty hard to have much wrestling in a short match when you want a little story to it. Doesn't flow great but it's not bad. Match two, with it's own flash back:- A recap of the DQ casuing action from the last time these two men meet up. Now it's going to be under hardcore rules. Pre match banter and this one is one. Sly just shoves Dustin off the buckles before the bell because he's evil like that. Sly goes for the hardcore goodness, but Ryan's waiting for it, after winning the Hardcore Title. But Dustin's getting cocky and poses against a no-nonsense guy like Sly and he gets dropped onto the ring steps. Ok, Super Bouncing Balls? We break out some werid hardcore weapons these days. But they get treated as real weapons (sort of) after a bit of covering commenty and the flashy sound effects so I can deal with that. The writing style certain leands itself to that as well, rather than breaking out the Lightubes and barbed wire. Dustin catches Sly as he tries to be all cocky and poses now, in a pefect play off to earlier in the match. Sly cheats back and gets of the first pinfall of the match. Sly gose for a submission but Dustin fights out only to get nailed with a parking sign. Trashcan and Chairshot combo to take Dustin down, he doesn't want to hurt people really but Sly's got no problem beating the hell out of him. Sly takes a risk and ends up going through the table himself. Cover but no good and two belt shots later, just like from the last match, Dustin is down and out. Certainly an interesting story going on here alongside a decent little hardcore match up. Sly definatly can write at this level and probably higher as it's all nice and easy to read. Promo time again:- Looks like Todd isn't happy about being left high and dry. But at least we've got long term tag champs once again. We've got the old partner switching going on here, but it's looking to be interesting. Got to wonder what's going to be happening with the Tag Champs after MVS knew what was going on. Ohhh...mystery! And onto our next match:- MVS is out at ringside with Todd...even with him being on vaction...odd...odd indeed. So Eddy J is out as well to even up this score. Clark playing a technician against Todd's cruiserweight as he blocks and suplex into a quick trade off, dumps him onto the apron, gets drops but dodges a leg drop. Todd finally scores with a leg drop, but for a Two. The art of a one count is a lost thing and I really does go to hurt some matches when the count starts off to high to fast. Todd continues to play the cruiser role, out pacing Clark and allowing him to nail a huge flurry of strikes. Nice little heel distraction work, playing off Eddy J's character as Todd insults him, so he gets mad, distracts the fed so MVS can nail Clark with the tag belt. Clark just kicks out after a foot to the face as Eddy J is taking out some anger on MVS (But he still doesnt scare anyone) STO and another cover on Clark. Certainly going for the poor face getting attack by the heel partner at every turn as MVS trips up Clark. But he's still able to pop up and dive to the outside to wipe out the tag champs, thus breaking the balance of the match. It's almost enought some how to get a near fall on Todd. Clark goes for a Superplex, gets shoved off and Sunset Flipped for his troubles. Superkick, ducked, Superkick and a heel schoolboy roll up gets another close fall for Todd as Eddy J saves the day. Special Place on Clark and a pair of Superkicks to Eddy J. Ok, Clark kicks out a tag finisher, even after the stall. Almost heelish finish as Eddy J aids Clark in getting the win. And Ced comes out to stop a beat down. Well, Clark can write when he cuts the fluffy, but it's internal stories are still a little in consistant at times so it leaves the story of the match lacking. And now for out next match up:- Sean "Wussy Music" Davis us back in action folks. Nice to see I've got my share of crowd signs as well. Bringing back some old history with Munich's broken leg from a long time ego in e-fed world. Always a good touch to see in matches. And again with all the talk of muscles bulging...if I want homo-erotic I'll talk to Janus But on more serious notes. Munich plays the speed roll against Davis' power one, taking him down quickly and dropkicking him in the back of the head. Now we see a good old one count. Munich tries for a power attach, but Davis over powers him and just drops him. Brawl ensues and Munich gets out punched easily then dropped with a Press Slam Gut Buster. Munich is able to out move Davis and score a quick jaw breaker. Again the speed verus power balance comes into play as Munich shoots up top and nails a Legdrop for another quick cover. Davis makes come back, making for slightly spoty selling as the first few moves there was a talk of selling and still feeling the effects that but that idea's gone now it seems. And again, Munich slips out and hits an Inverted DDT. Davis kicks out again an trainwrecks Munich to apply...a Chinlock? Easy heat spot I guess, Munich fights out just to take a chokeslam for another close fall. A finishing move that I dont thik works, gets the win on Munich. Davis certain has all the desc in place, along with some soild groundwork for pyscho, but the selling pace and the moveset lay balance hurts the match/character. My Match:- W00t, go me and all that. All I have to say. The Tag Team Main Event Clusterfuck:- Ok, this is just going to be a horrible cluster fuck. Just completely. Werid as booking and no set heel/face teams really DOESNT help in matches like this. And the fact clusterfucks are bed enough without outher things going against them. At least there's some effort to address the messed up balance within the teams, if nothing else. The fact the the sections of writing don't join up either isnt much help, but what you gonna do. The second half of the match is certainly easier to read though. Either part is completely terrible and I think both teams could have made a lot more from this match if it was just heels on one side and faces on the other. At least that problem would have been out of the way. The Random Comerical break is just cover for a tagged on ending, but hey, at least they showd and got something in. Huge cluster fuck with finisher flying. And finally the match gets stopped after JD goes on a nut crushing run. I'll blame the booking and the team balance for that one being bad ok. Match of the Night:- The MOTN of this show is: Austin Sly verus Ryan Dustin! Right people, from now on I'm going to be picking a MOTN from every TV show we do. This will be my choice (barring massive difference of opinion from the rest of the fed.) Also note that I will never be choosing a match of mine. So you'll have to shout up if I ever write anything that good At the end of every month, all the MOTN's for that month will be put into a Match of the Month Vote (using the boards poll featur, where everyone can cast their vote). Just for even more input, ok people. So feedback on this idea and extra is weclome. PPV matches will be handled seperatly, just having their own MOTN Voting Poll along with a comments thread. Ok, there you go peope.
