Man, when did I get so over? This is what I get for being in angles where the heels have a crap load of heat. I think I'm gonna have to start doing something along this line (MOTN) or something in my show reviews.

Masato Tanaka - Dangan I can't find it on Yucube so uploading that one would make me very greatful.

Right people, this one needs to go up as well. Just for reference. And so a set will be complete as it where. Building a good moveset (This will need input) Firstly: Start at the top. Look at your wrestler’s gimmick, style and stats. These should all be interlinked and set up already. It’s obvious if you have a cocky face cruiserweight, you want lots of flashing high flying and fast offence. And on the flip side, you wont have anything that needs lots of lifting or power as you wont be able to hit it on many people. Secondly: Next order of business if your finisher. Good Finisher will cover what makes a good finisher and how to pick it. This is what a lot of your moveset should be built around. It’s there to end the match, so you need to be able to set it up and work your opponent over to hit it. Thirdly: Placing and spacing. Stick to the order of things in the way the fed sets out moves. Rare moves should be rare and something special (as it says, moves that push the limits of you stats a little bit.) This is a good place for Cruiser to have their Cruiser Killer moves like an Orange Crush. It pushes their strength, but they can just break it out against other small guys in big matches when it’s needed. Common moves. These really shouldn't have names unless it’s your characters gimmick (eg Taz’s Tazplex thing. So having an old Snap Suplex in there would be a Snap Vertical Tazplex but that’s it.) There shouldn’t be anything flashy or fancy in here. Defiantly none of this Tiger/Dragon/Exploder, etc etc Suplexes. Things that are complex or hard hitting don’t fit here. Things like DDTs, Backbreakers and all are what fit there (but that’s not to say they can’t be sig moves if they fit your character either. See Danny Williams’ Elbows, Duran’s DDT, etc) What’s common will depend on your character. A mat wizard like Flesher has his Front Facelock Takedowns, where as a monster like Janus as his Powerslams. Signature moves. This is where all your stylish stuff goes. The moves that show what your character is. These moves can be pretty much anything within the limit of your stats, what isn’t so flashy or hard fitting it’d be a finisher. Good Character talks a bit about what shouldn’t be in signature moves. These can be things that could be common moves maybe, but if it’s specialised to the character and they’re good at it, it can make sense. This is where the Moonsaults, the DVDs and the Yakuza Kicks come in. Fourthly: Focus again this has been talked about in other places. All your sig moves should be built around your main style and your finishers. Target the same area as your finisher does, just with small moves to add damage. That or if should work to set them up (eg a Cruiserweight hitting lots of fast DDTs and diving kicks and tackles and stuff to get someone down on the mat long enough to go up top and fly) There’s no point having lots of Shinbreakers, Single Leg Crabs and Knee Crushers if your finisher is a Triangle Choke. Fifthly: Common Sense. As covering in the Finisher’s article. Don’t use moves you can’t write yourself or because they’re flashy and cool at the time. The moveset should be part of the character almost. Look at Tom Flesher, his low end offence is all technical, amateur wrestling based stuff that he uses to again control and dominate people. His high end offence is powerful, hard hitting and works on almost all of the fed. It all gives him room to be cocky and down right insulting to his opponents. That’s Tom Flesher’s character and that’s what the moveset fits for him. Sixthly: Some of the old, some of the new. Some things you have to keep constant in your moveset, so they can become over and credible in a range of situations. There’s no need to be changing your common moves around every few days because you’ve seen another simple move you like. The more the little things stick, the more you can really focus on the character and the more familiar you’ll be with writing a match based around those moves. But on the other side, you have to change a few things every now and again. Maybe bringing out a new move during a long feud and dropping one you haven’t written in changes or just changing one move for one that better fits your character. Seventhly: Talk to people. If you have a good character, you should know how they will wrestler and the types and moves they’d use. Doesn’t mean you’ll be able to think of them all the time though. Ask for advice of where a move might fit or what else you can use to make it better. Also ask if your moveset works to right against, because other people have to be able to use it and not just you. If all else fails, PM me. I know enough move crap to at least give a load of ideas.

Very sweet promo man. Though you probably know far to much about the pyschology of heavy drinkers. It's making for a very interesting character.

And again JD beings a very interesting point. There's a line to walk with how as to how far you can get away with doing things like that, but some of them can be justified to some love.

Comment time: Intros are up first. Someone's breaking out the funny signs again. Always nice to see. And a little promo from Sean Davis. Always important to set up new characters and good to see the n00bs giving input. Opening match. Ok, Trapt is a wussy ass band for some big man to be using, but anyway. Certainly not lacking in description like a lot of n00b matches do, which is a change. Definatly not dry and easy to read so far, also with a good grasp of Comet and Riley. But the full song lyrics being qouted should be left for the PPV. Very slow and stalling start, and all the desc that doesn't talk about the action makes it seem even slower. That's a good thing, for now anyway. Nice blanace between the two, with Gilbery playing hit and run heel style on the big man. Walking a fine line with the description, it's good to see but too much is a bad thing. Very dusty match as the managers start beating on each other as well. Gilbert goes flying but Davis is too tough and squashes him in about three moves. Pretty good opening match, only down side being that hardly anything happens wrestling wise even with the low limit. And match number two. I like the Batman and Robin joke, another nice comparision between Comet and Riley. Nice bitter of banter to build this match up and pimp both guys out. Nice change of pace in the match start up and showing Sly to be the more agreesive sort of heel when it suits him, with the language showing this isn't something that common. Dustin shows off some of the flash and effective flying of his last match with a sunset flip out of the corner. I mark for the Cocky Pin and Sly again moving into the cocky heel role. Little rib work without breaking into power stuff. Dustin comes back with his speed again, setting up a balance between these two that isn't just speed verus speed. Dustin makes a leap of offense with the old sudden roll up of doom for a close fall. Doesn't seem to be selling the rib work though, boo and hiss. But Sly's had enough, getting the title from NTD and taking out Dustin even thouhg he gets DQed. Looks like something might come from this. Nice little story and the DQ ending is to further Sly's character rather than just a lame screwjob, good good. Elimation Six Man Tag of DOOM~! Intros are the old, crap get everyont out fast and clean but they're nothing to bad and they do get everyone out. Opening stuff is a little dry, not much desc of how one thing moves to the next it's solid. King's ego running again, not letting Manson break up the cover because he thinks he doesnt need anyone. No one seems to like each other and that's right, as Petey gets KOed going for the tag out and Manson manages to pin him. About the only thing that could be done with the manic booking of this match. Blind tag from Manson and King almost gets taken out on the outside before Kelly saves him. There's a bit of a lack in what the crowd feels most of the time along with a lack of exsention from the basic description. Doesn't seem like that much of a tag match either, with team mates attacking each other all over the place. Munich gets counted out and Hunt goes to work on Manson and his knee. Manson quickly taps out. Now it's down to two men and into back and forth action. Kelly just save's King's ass as usual from Hunt's finisher but she's not fast enought to save him from the second one. The writing is growing, but a match like that isn't the best one to show it on. Not the best handled of Six Man's in the fed, but soild for someone new. Small and crappy promo from me because I needed to say something. US Title Match Time. Alan Clark wants his belt back...but the poor Wayward Sons are getting ripped on, with the wit that TMM has down to an art almost. Things look like they're going to start out fair, til TMM proves there's no chance of that. TMM definatly has all the writing down and this looks to be an old fashioned brawl to start with. Clark goes for the knee for that Wrath of Clark, shocking game plan that. TMM goes to the outside at lets Clark make mistakes on the chase before taking him back in and grounding him, slow, heelish, middle weight...TMM rocks. Clark struggles out and goes straight back to the knee, almost unphased by the facelock but TMM still fight backs, being in better shape that Clark. TMM continues his style of playing off mostly serious action with mostly comedy comments, which really works with Riley and Comet. TMM goes after the neck again, elbowing out of the suplex and hitting a tornado ddt. Chinlock, fights out, counted but with the bad leg and we have selling of doom as Clark goes after the leg again. Clark dodges a pair of kicks then flips out of a German Suplex, bringing the speed advantage over Mask's mat skill. More knee work, but the Fisherman's Knee Crusher is countered and the German Suplex conects, working the neck again. TMM goes on a run, but uses the injured leg again and it's even covered in the desc, so it makes sense and isn't a glaring logic error. TMM stalls on the outside...Clark fakes a dive and scores with a double ax handle, another speed advantage spot. TMM blocks and nails a Clark on the neck again. Reverse Brainbuster blocked, Dimaond Cutter blocked in a nice double twist. Wrath of Clark, but they're still by the ropes and it's broken. And finally TMM stops using his injured leg to block a corner charge and just goes postal on Clark's head. Reverse Brainbuster to cap it off and it's over. I really liked the story with the leg as I didnt see it coming til the end and it was just below the surface and made the finish work. TMM keeps walking the comedy/serious line and pulls it off very well. Tag Team Title goodness now. HB certianly have quite a hold over the tag titles as of late, as the Wayward Sons are stepping up to try and claim the belts. Nothing fancy in the intros, just getting both teams out to start the match. Bit of suffling around to start things off and Ced gets pasted with a Powerslam, MVS playing a power guy against the cruiserweight. Edwards tries to break it up, allowing MVS to go all Memphis Heel, choking Ced on the ropes. Todd comes in but he's not fast enough to keep up with Ced straight on and gets flipped flopped all over. But then Todd stops short and just plastered Ced in true heel style. More work and tag back to Mike as Ced tries to fight back. Mike whipping Ced across the ring gives him the speed he needs to go flying again and this time connects with a rana, playing off the opening spot. No hot tag this time, instead Ced gets a tag to Eddy J, which is odd, as Ced being worked over and finally making a hot tag to his stronger team mate is more the plan, but we'll see. MVS and Todd certainly jell as a team, though and the only thing they lack is building more selling and deeper psych. Mike cheats his way out of Edward's offence to take control again, but it does high light Edward still moving away from his lack luster roll and personna. But then Edwards over powers Mike and takes him down. Again a Wayward Son misses an Avalanche in the corner and Mike again dropkicks him down but it's no good. But Mike outwrestling James again and scores a Backdrop Suplex before repeating the go home spot from their last tag match. But this time Edward is fired up and just flattens Mike. Cover, kick out and Todd dives in with a heel save. Tag Champs retain. Nice match, lacking on a few psych threads which they dont type up, but with the story, breaking from the tag base formula does work and helps to carry the story along mostly. Promo time. Much More Maddix and Pepsi Max! Maddix runs his ego again, and draws parrallel's between not getting a shot at the CW title when Johnny had it and now Johnny not getting a shot at the ICTV title. And then about his history against Aecas (and that FBTW match that ruled!) Maddix makes a few jokes he only could being a Birt really, like the football one about Toxxic, even with the fanit hint of respect for a heel he's never crossed paths with. Maddix's character is definatly growing these days and it really helps him. Cage match of doom with dodgy rules. Johnny plays the fast man, trying to keep away from Aecas and take him down with speed because he knows a one on one fight will see him killed. And after early control that happens, Aecas scoring two back breakers, a huge german and even a chokebreaker, all for close falls. But then johnny restores to a low blow to escape because he'd written himself into the corner and there was no way he could believable get out. But WTF is with Johnny climbing back into the cage? Having Johnny just help Aecas back up and start from standing would have made much more sense. But still, they start off again and Johnny gets flattend againt for more close falls. A huge Yakuza Kick but Johnny is still kicking out. But then Johnny suddenly fights back, and even after all the damage he's taken, he's some how strong enough to slam Aecas. Death From Above and Johnny escapes, almost quickly. Eh, I didnt like the way that was handled. As there's almost no selling of all of Aecas' high end offence on Johnny and he's still moving fast and flying at the end of the match. And now for the main event...the tornado tag match of ultimate death. Toxxic and Drazon have to work together...oh fun. Only Megan is out with Maddix...probably just to keep the number of people in this clusterfuck down. And Uber ego intro ROCKS for Flesher and Maddix. Dunno if the team would work long term, but as a one off thing, it works very well. The Dream Team with the whole round of golf claps after the opening stop just shows them off so well. But then Toxxic breaks on of his own rules and just low blows Flesher to scramp back into the match. Man this match is mad, as all four guys break out all the stops. Drazon taking out Flesher and Maddix with a suicide dive. Toxxic just targetting on Flesher, to hype up the title situation and cracking nice English Football joke aswell. Flesher breaks out a rare enzuigiri to take Toxxic down, playing his own game. Just having Maddix/Drazon brawl and playing off the Boiler Room Brawl that it can happen leaves Toxxic and Flesher to almost have a straight match. Flesher outwrestles Toxxic easily but Drazon breaks it up. Very out of character, Flesher tries to beg off. Toxxic and Drazon just about manage to work together to make the double team on Flesher and control him. Flesher ducks a kick into a sleeper only to take an Enzui-Lariat then sends both men flying. Maddix tries to go flying on Drazon, but he gets caught, and then again, getting thrown over the ropes onto Flesher and Toxxic..nice spot. Maddix comes back in only to get planted to set up the Shining Black up Flesher trips him up. By using a few nice spots, this match is playing out as a set of one on one matches at some points and as a normal tag match at others. Toxxic chair shot, Flesher chair shot, almost a bit of self paraody that makes these matches funny. Drazon tries to take Flesher on, but gets three Railgun suplexes for his troubles, showing he's still better. But then Drazon tries to copy him, going for the same spot, only to take a classic Flesher low blow. Toxxic superkicks his own partner (shocking!) But just nails the Underkill on Flesher then the triple jump moonsault for a close fall that gets broken up. Maddix takes Toxxic down and goes on a run only to get flatten by a returning Drazon. Maddix repays Toxxic for the charishot, only to get plastered. Toxxic back against Flesher, and the Discus Combo gets cut of again and just drills Toxxic for a close fall. Toxxic flips out of the German only to land straight on a low blow as Flesher gets fancy. DVD for another close fall. Again show that Toxxic may be flashy and upcoming, but in this virtual one on one setting, Flesher is the better fighter and wrestler. Toxxic just fights back with his speed, surprising Flesher. Springboard Rana but Toxxic gets planeted and almost wrapped up but Toxxic fights out only to get nailed again for another close fall. Toxxic desperatly battles to not get tied up like a pretzel, but Flesher out moves him again and hits a Caffine Bomb on Toxxic for the win. We have build to the coming clash over the title. This is gonna be interesting. Not as much as a clusterfuck as I would have thought and turning it into singles matches at some points made it work much more. Man...show of doom in places. Man the 10 man tag on the next show is gonna kill me.

Make your return, if you'll show that it. It'd be good to have you back. And you need to come back into the fold of chat as well.

It's defintly NOT a Nagata Lock I. I = Reverse Figure Four (leg crossed under rather than over) II = Crossface III = Armscissors w/ Armbar and Crossface (think original Rings of Satur with a Crossface) Edge's move, is as far as I remember, an Inverted Sharpshooter w/ Ankle Lock. But eh, it's an OK move for WWE land I guess. But he has far better stuff he could be using.
-
I'm pretty sure the package that came with my site is paid invision boards. I'd have to check, but they'd certainly do any work we needed.
-
Duran, my boards are a paid full Invision Boards, just like this site. Just one of the things that came with my site. Anything they can do here, it can be done on my boards.
-
Well people, I still have my invision board. We can always move there on mass if an emergency calls for it. Other than that. If this site does go down, I'm sure there are other places we can get hosted.

Commet Time People: Opening promo stuff. Nice little show hype to get the ball rolling for the rest of the evening as it where. JD gives me props...w00t. Very interestring words about trying to return to the and all. Usual JD threatens to kick ass all over the place. And yes Maddix has lost his mind, he really has. Standing upto JD like that. Good opening number to hype things up. Triple threat of doom for another returnee. Bwahaha at mentioning the bees verus the giant japanese killer hornets thing (go wathc that video people) Gilbert certainly is a cocker guy. I thnik Gilbert is still finding his groove again, as it's suffering from your typical problems, a little dry and thin, but the actio itself is good as are the ideas and commentry. It's pretty fast action, not hard to keep track of. Usual triple threat clusterfuck affair. The style is almost like PBP recap, but could be expanded on to work very well I'm sure. Match was pretty much spot to spot without any selling but nothing can can't be imporved on. And Gilbert is making for a good character. DNS, just makes my job easier. Video package...with Spock as the voice...ROCK! Really sweet and a nice round of jokes as well. TMM brings the comedy and the pimming while he's at it. Good work. Cruiserweight Time it is. Some back history on Sly's rise to glory. Usual jokes about the over pushed n00bs. And Comet has a small dick...charming. Poor Riley, around all those Country Music fans. Sly slides right int the roll of the ccoky heel champ, cheating on the opening lock up. He just does get better with everything he writes. Playing bob and weave with the big man is nice work. Breaking out the Cocky Pin I really mark for. Sly looking like a strong champ arleady, just out working the new guy. Hunt comes back, getting luck with a Spear and it moevs to the outside. Hunt goes for the injured leg, keeping it simple and playing the power guy to Sly's little champ. Sly rolls out after the leg work for a breath. Sly's definatly impoving on his pysch and selling as well as carrying on the style of the crusierweight champ from Dangerous. Ahh, I love that DQ ending. Hunt looks strong without getting totaly beaten, Sly doesn't get beaten either and it really fits the cocky character he's build. Onwards with the show. King continues is ego trip, he even gets his better half to introduce him (does that top the crowd call in my entrance I wonder?) Quickl the power/speed balance gets set up in the opening two spots, which is good work. Nice run climbing reversal spot from Ced, even if it is early to break into the two counts. King bails out like a true heel, with the usual spot that stalls for Ced to hit an Missle Dropkick. Back inside and Kick shifts back to the power guys, mauling Ced on the mat and going after the neckwork he starts. Flying Elbow Drop misses, gives Ced time to recover, nail a speed rusha and a rana for a close fall. Cross Lightning attempt to a roll up. Another roll out, another top rope dive but this time King catches it and planets Ced on the floor. Back in and Ced just makes a reversal, but the Fire Soul is blocked, King Buster and it's over. Defiantly an imporvment. Still needs some work on selling, but as a real match goes, it's got a basic story and psych being in. So King's showing he's got the goods to take it further. Promo time. Johnny is training hard for his match and even admits that he's probably gonna get his ass kicked. This one should be interesting. Hardcore Title Match Time now folks. Flashy cruiserweight action to kick things into action at first. It's Headlock-O-Rama in the SWF once again, with Dustin and MVS taking the technical cruiser appoarch to things, as Dustin drops down to Headlock MVS again. Back up and the same spot again, but this time MVS gets a gut wrench and Dustin pulls out a Dragon Kid style Satitle Spinning Headscissors, to show off his speed. Dustin out paces Mike's offence and just drops him with a Release German. Springboard Rana gets blocked...but a handwalking spot...that's beautiful and a wondeful way to play up the speed advantage (one of the many things Wildchild should have done but never did) Into a Sunset Flip but no good. Aborted dive to the outside, and a big ass Springboard Moonsault to the outside. Dustin really coming into his own in the cruiserweight aspect. MVS cheats his way back to the lead and starts to bring out the toys for this one. MVS using the weapons to take out Dustin and keep him from flying. Bit drop on the sign and three ultra close covers form Mike. Dustin fights back with a desperation superkick and hardcore wizard. But it's not enough this time. And now the ladder's in play. Dustin takes MVS down and goes up, but the old ref shoved into the ropes spot comes into play. Real Deal of the ladder finally and it's over. Interesting mix of Hardcore and Curiserweight action. Lacking in both their usual areas but a fun match, Definatly showing Ryan Dustin coming into his own. Another promo. And Alan Clark goes heel on Eddy James...? To get him to hit him and channel his anger....right.... I see, sure. Clark is trying to fire him up. And now Ced is a Wayward Son...ok that's left field people. Really left field. And another promo. And Allison Onita is not happy about Zed's booking. Flesher is getting screwd and not in the right way apperntly. And Flesher isn't happy about having to face Johnny it seems. Ohh....tension and it looks like Johnny is in for an ass kicking. Number one contenders match now. Ahh Toxxic, you're so lucky you changed your match boy-o. As you actually won. Toxxic goes at it straight from the bat, trying not to having to lock up with Danny. Bt Danny catches him and just starts to batter him. Toxxic only just holds his own on the mat due to his speed advantage. Toxxic tries to keep moving but gets plastered with a rolling elbow and it's almost over right there. Slight lack of follow but, but Danny tries to drill Toxxic with a springboard elbow but just gets dropkicked out of the air like Spike did. Roll up run, trying to end it fast but it's no good. Toxxic uses his speed to stay ahead, and flattens Danny on the outside. Danny busts his arm on the outside just like his submissions match on the last show. Toxxic takes in back inside and uses his speed to work over Danny's arm. Finally works up to the Repeat to Fade but Danny escapes and eblows an eblow smash with his bad arm. Another close fall and Danny goes back to work, just plastering Toxxic again. Toxxic tries the Role Reversal but this time Danny dropkicks him out of the air. Dangerous German, but Toxxic just flips out and finally gets on the Repeat to Fade again, the armwokr allowing him to hold on for the win. Yet another promo. Toxxic looks to be slinking off into the night after his match. But Spike of all people wants a talk with him? This looks to be interesting. Spike want to pick up Toxxic's style..odd but interesting. And now, the dreaded Boiler Room Brawl. Maddix seems to have regained his mind and is bringing back up with him. And now he's afair of JD again.. smart man as he just bolts for the door as soon as he sees him. JD cuts him off and just starts to beat the hell out of Maddix as it's JD's home turf. So Maddix resorts to being an old school heel to save his ass and just legs it. JD gives a Shining Black to a filing cabinet, nice. Maddix is just playing cat and mouse with a little comedy edge here. The best way he could of handled this situation. JD jsut ends up completely out hardcoring Maddix and exitting it boiler room, only take take a Calling Card for his troubles. And now there's an crowd for this fight! And now they're battling into the commisioners office as well, poor Zenon. Just a completely clusterfuck of a brawl with shots into every single fixture and fitting they can find. Battling out onto the ramp, and Maddix keeps getting his ass kicked. Big ass suplex to the floor. And we dont have the usual finish...my GOD! Ref bump and the match carries on. Maddix retains but gets his ass kicked one last time for good measure. And now for the main event of the evening folks. The entrances if supreme flash. That have been c/ped I see as Johnny magicaly turns into Dace at one point. Flesher starts things straight of with the old tidal wave crush routine, taking Dangerous out. Flesher so goes to ground with Chinlock, keeping it simple and heelish. Johnny fights out only to be taken down again. Deadlify German and a bootchoke. Ahhh... the good old dick heel Flesher, how I love the character. Flesher is just dominating Johnny and kicking his ass at every turn so far. As Dangerous faces a complete reversal from his usual roll as the man. Flesher just throwing Dangerous over the top rope is another nice heelish touch and further playing up his usual act as the man and a dickish heel vet. Headlock of doom...but Johnny fights out~! Johnny uses the shock to his advantage and seems almost to be in the underdog role now. Flesher finall rolls back in and Johnny launches off a frantic series of kicks and dropkicks to get himself an advantage. Enzui-missile dropkick for another close fall as Johnny takes the fight to somewhere that gives him a better chance against Flesher. Rolling Suplex for another close fall, as Johhnnt is running his spots, trying to put Flesher down. Flesher escapes the MI Slam and score the old low blow then takes it to Johnny, ramming him into the buckles. Flesher goes to work on the shoulder and takes it apart. But Johnny reverses and now pulls the same stuff Flesher did at the start of the match. Death from Above misses, Release German, Ego Buster and it's all over. Another kick ass Flesher match with a good story that puts everyone over. Damn you and your skill Tom. Good work man. Over all (Y). Good job people

Ok, this has to be talked about somewhere. And when it's not 2AM and I've gotten something now, I'll add in what I can. Until then, here's a little something everyone read. To see what they can pick up, to say about it or any other advice they can give on this area. http://robbo.oeck.net/Stuff/psychology.txt Ok, that's about 5000 words long so it should keep you busy for a little bit. It's not mind, credit belngs to the whoever wrote it (I'm assuming the poster named at the end) And if a few other people can post their own articles on this, or about something indepth, that's what I'm after. So read people.
