Just like Bubba and Flair, he HAS hit that spot. But due to how he feels about it (IIRC, he feels it's a dangerous one to land on some) he uses it as a reversal spot, just like Flair and Bubba often use their moves. However, with a move like that, it doesn't really matter if you hit it or not, all the stuff takes place in the air and you hit the mat or the opp one way or another. But I'm sure he's not the only person to use it. With the amount of Yardtards come wrestlers these days.

Feel the hype people, feel the hype. Tis all great stuff J.

The fed is getting very grim and real it seems. That promo strikes all the right chords. It's bringing up so much stand. Great work.
-
Mmm build up. And dealing with such issues. Another great promo from this angle. This ladder match is going to be hyped off the charts.

Ah, another guy using Saskue's spot.

With a twist. I'm just really playing around with the rating thing at the moment. Please note, I'm predicting the rating of the WRESTLING going on. Not how good I think anythings match will be over all. I'm not rating Emotional stuff etc. So don't worry, it's not a slight on anyone's skill. And of course, I'm just predicting, I've got no way of knowing what people might pull out. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BOUT SINGLES MATCH Charlie "Grappler" Matthews© vs "The Notorious" John Duran I'm gonna give it Duran to FIANLLY take it. Danny made him look like a huge threat, and the tag match with Tom carried that on. ****1/2 Predicted - MOTNC LADDER MATCH Ann "Ichiban" Onita vs "The Superior One" Tom Flesher Flesher with something avant grade and a ton of pyschology he's been building. ****1/2 Predicted - MOTNC LAST MAN STANDING MATCH Nathaniel Kibagami vs Alex Zenon This one is going to be intersting. I get the feeling the wrestling action wont be great, but the emotional storyline will be. **1/2 - *** Predicted, blood bath of the night. ICTV/TAG TEAM/HARDCORE TITLE BOUT TRIPLE QUADRUPLE MATCH Wild & Dangerous© vs The In Crowd vs Aecas and Janus© vs Toxxic© and Liston Gotta back Aecas and Janus in Trinity pride (for their match to win, not about the various titles). It's a spot fest cluster fuck though. *1/2 - ** Predicted. USJL TITLE BOUT SINGLES MATCH Coy "Wild" West© vs Todd Royal Coy to retain in a close one. Going to be very old school and passed agains one or two big fast high spots. ***3/4 Predicted. EMPTY ARENA MATCH Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix vs Alan Clark Another one that might be a big brawl with more emotional stuff and external story than wrestling. **1/2 Predicted. SINGLES MATCH Edward James vs Crow James, as I dont think Crow's going to be showing. Nice little singles match. ** Predicted. SINGLES MATCH "La Sensation Senegalaise" Said vs Tryst Said, in a fast and fun number. Lots of heelish doing and manager stuff. **1/2 Predicted. SINGLES MATCH Stryke vs "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Spike because..well, you never know. Soild and decent easily. ** Predicted. HARDCORE MATCH Austin Sly vs Insane Luchadore This one will be a bloody mess. Probably leaving wrestling well being for spots and action. *1/2 and lots of bumping predicted.

You know I've already read it and found it halarious. Not a serious match at all, but great comedy...even thouhg you just stole it completely. You did admit that, so no matter.
-
I starting to turn into an offical reviewer. Adding in star ratings is just making it scary. Anyone got any view of my use of those. Good, bad, nice addition?
-
Ahhh, right, ok on that one then. It's just I didn't remember back to FBC, and just remembered Danny have you try the same stuff against him. But yer, it was a very good match.
-
Time for my fairly usual comments: Please note, I'm just experimenting with tossing in star ratings to see how it goes. Just ignore them if they seem like crap, I probably wont have them right. Evil ass opening promo, playing on slightly out of kayfabe comments and some lovely twisting of how wrestlers feel about the normal action of a match. Nice history stuff with the M7 as well. Very evil stuff from Flesher. ***1/2 Nice little bit about Comet taking his mask off for the opeing match. Starts off pretty brawling, but it's not bad by any means. Tad description light, but soild. Usal triple threat finisher finisher ending. But from Sly, he's showing, he's winning and he writes well. ** Boo and hiss at the DNS. Nice evil punishment though. 1/2* And the fictional commeraicls continue, I always like those little touches. Good promo, relfects on stuff, like Superkicking Clark too hard as he later lost the title. And the president jokes. Sweet build up, really driving hype into the match. *** Nice old school heel duck out and little pysch up start. Hot start, with the beatings and the run it shots showing the build and hatred between Clark and Maddix. Really good trades with Maddix jumping in to save Todd. The shootish line about Coy and Ejiro was another like little winky winky touch it's good to see in matches without being out of place. It's all simple but affective, the leg work form Todd, Half Crab, grab the ropes only for Maddix to kick Coy's hand, another classic. And then we have the Tag Rope Choking. [Aside, the Fed seems to be getting very old school lately, and we're keeping tag teaming alive damn it!] Playing off Maddix/Tryst as Megan saves her team from a big dive. Clark gets some payback with a Superkick off his on, but only on Todd. It builds towards the PPV and was a really good soild match. ***1/2 Neat promo from Toxxic, picking up on classic UK/US things, and I do mark for the stuff about the French. And more Toxxic/Aecas stuff. Futhur carrying on the saga and also building Terrence/Janus stuff. I love the whole ghost thing going on. Janus + Gabriel = many dead peple. **1/2 Now onto Said vs Toxxic [man with show seems long]. Toxxic is bascily the deafult face, but doesn't over do it. Really fast start, usal crusier stuff. The interlaced commentatry and action carries it over well. The two out posing each other is a fun little element. The punch combo clotheslines get traded off, keeping it pretty simple, with the roll ups from Toxxic leading into roll ups from Said. No great plan, but for a Heel/Heel match it worked, and works very well for Said. **1/4 Me and Aecas kill Cutthroat and Teddy 'I'm a twat and I'm pissing on the family name' Hart. DUD but such a fun one. Another evil promo from Flesher as the games go on. I do like all this with Allison. **1/4 Little promo from W&D just to hype the tag title match. Nothing great, but good old hype. *1/4 Huge build up promo between Clark and Maddix. Massive drama and relaly big hype. Awesome stuff. **** Tag Title Match now... big fast opening as that's everyone's playbook. Niec crowd popping stuff from WC to open. Slighty OTT clusterfuck if attacks. But it's a ladder match as the rapid spots continue, both Johhny and Cortex stay down long enough from their two big ish moves, gives it more tension. More mention of selling and such a talked comment on Johnny's last match, good thing. Transistions are spoty, but this is a clearly defined spot fest, and they keep the pace and still keep in line with selling seen earlier on. Wild and Dangerous pretty much kill the in crowd, though it's not totally one sided. Good spot match. **3/4 Big evil promo about Janus and Kibagami. Evilness around, and build up. *1/4 And it's Janus coming up to bate against the River Dragon. Brawling at each other, both big evil characters just taking it to each other. Almost feeling epic in some places, with big spikes of impact. Shifting back and forth as they just unleash on each other. Both of them fighting through big impact just to come back with their own big hits. Janus finally just crushes the life out of Kibagami. A big hate filled match, with the action telling that story rather that one in ring story. **1/2 And after the match Zenon comes in and kills Kibs completely with some help from Janus....ohh...more evilness. Zenon vs Kibagami just boils over in the promo. Alex is just loosing in. With just is just evil to the core. These guys are both insane. Just damn... **** Finally to the main event. Start off with the obvious build for Grappler/Duran, these two guys feeling it out, just adding to building tension. And that changes into Flesher/Onita, to keep the build pace going. Ann starts of strong but gets beaten down and out wrestled by Flesher, who's back in his great uber heel roll and he builds up by crushing Ann. And making her tag in Grappler is another excellent touch. Then a role reversal as Grappler attacks, small payoff for Ann's punishment. More beating on Tom which switches back to him out wrestling and destorying Onita again. Then Duran takes over the dismantling job. Duran's attack is just as nasty as Tom's and severs to make him look like he could do just as much to Grappler at the PPV. After playing off the Running Knee Strike into the steps from Duran/Danny the faces are incontrol at last. Austin/Michaels style kick, caught, spun, kick wham finisher. Big tease as Duran breaks it up. Tom finally crushes Annie with an Ego Buster. Huge build to then PPV, hot match, great action, very good story. **** MOTN And just a final closing promo to round it off, show how on edge Zenon is and fix Flesher/Onita PPV match. *1/2 A job very well done people.

What is the last thing you spent money on?

£80 on my Bus and Rail pass for the next school term. -
Kerry Macfadden (sp?) the one that used to be in Atomic Kitten I think.

Right, comment time (finally) Tryst breaks out his usual madness in a huge ass opening promo. Someone is channeling HHH and comedy at the same time. An opening match that flips the play book around around and has the heel with a body part being worked over. Had me thinking at times, how the hell is Maddix going to win this one? But he turned it around pretty well and didn't totally break all the work he'd be doing on the arm. A little tweaking on the damage done and the selling and it'd even better. It was a nice change and a very fast match. Promo between Clark and Maddix. With have insults flying and a good old fashioned attack at the walk off. Does Maddix look like a rising star or what people? DNS makes this shorter. Really evil promo between Kibs and Zennon. It's almost like it's not completely kayfabe...geee. Battle for the contract. It's good to see Card back in action. While I was rooting for Mexico to defent France, the ending was sweet and really fitting. They where trained by Card, so of course will back the most evil cheating sod. Triple threat stats with the old two on one you'd expect, even though you know it'll break down and it does. Starts of pretty fast, but things are kept simple, no over the top confusing spots. Just like his tag partner, there's something about Todd that makes him read like a future star. Nice to see some good old hand stomping used as well. Finish a tad out of nowhere, but a nice using the heels against each other to get there. After match attack, and Clark makes the save to move the story on. My shoddy ass hardcore match. Still, a few bits I was atleast happy with. Also another fast paced number. Seems to be the standard for this show. Onto the next title match. Johnny's ego shines through in parts, I thought it was wrestling, not a fashion show. And the cheap shot about Terrence in drag? Standard back and forth stuf. At the start, Johnny seems to make come backs straigh after being in close ish falls. And he kicks out, looking exhusted, but then makes a reversal and goes back on the attack. Maybe needing a little more work to set up the finish, but it was held on for a while and clamped up. And here comes Toxxic to carry on his Orton impression. Opening up the arm work with the very first move, so clarely carrying over the arm work from the strap match. And Toxxic is working to avoid having the arm worked over again. Kibs isn't taking some of the obvious moves into arm work, but that could very well jut be Toxxic not know what they arm, and he has Kibs fight his way into attack the arm anyway. Toxxic trying for roll ups to but the tougher man away fast, something he's done before. Not to sure about going from a reversal to a pin rather than going after the arm, but heat of the moment and all that. Kibs is trying to strike Toxxic down rather than just going after the arm, but it is Kibs. Toxxic gets a win with a version of his finisher he can do one armed, good stuff. Toxxic's running his mouth, trying to build a name for himself. Would you like to de-poll Mr. Orton? Nasty little number between Danny and Duran. Huge shit kicking from both guys in another fast paced number. The running knee strike against the steps is just sick. Danny gets a win, by another roll up. He's beaten the champ and the contender, but only with roll ups and it's been hard fought against both of them. Tag Team Title action. Boo-urns to the Mike and Zack. Damn you. And Tom goes all evil unhelping tag parnet. It's another fast paced fun little number. The champs dont lose though, and the poor Ann Onita finally goes down after being left high and dry, which makes sense and keeps up Aecas and Terrence and big tough mothers. Very good show over all, good work people.

PROMO:Knowing Is Half The Battle
Dace59 replied to Zack Malibu's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Interesting promo. We have the ever handy tag team tension already. This could turn out to be something big. -
The Opp is laying on their back, Delfin stands by their side. He takes both the opp's arms and crosses them over their chest. Delfin then stands over the opp, facing towards the opps legs, with their names behind him. He uses one leg to hook the opps arms and keep them pinned down. He then grabs the opps legs and pulls them up, crossing one behind the other figure four style and pulls back on them. He ends up squatting over the opps chest, with their arms corssed and hooked by his leg, with their legs up in the air and crossed in a four.
-
It's got nothing to do with a Vertebreaker. Some people have said the KK/ARC is an Inverted Backdrop Version of the EF (eg the opp is facing the same way as the attacker and hanging down their back). It's one of the harder to call moves. The Nova Inventing jokes haven't been funny in 4 years. As for the Spin Doctor being an Inverted Swinging Neckbreaker going the short way. A Swinging Neckbreaker goes the short way. The Last Rites/Roll The Dice/Test Drive/ etc are Reverse Inverted Swinging Neckbreakers as they go the other way. I'm suprised Nova hasn't stolen anything else lately. Or maybe no one wants to team with him anymore.

Yer, I think the man took lessons from Styles and Cole.
-
Ah, the Christo. Nice little spot that.
-
I have to compliment you guys on these things. You churn out some great stuff. One of the best features of this folder.
-
I'd so love to be there, as the trip isnt that far for me. But it's all a case of money and getting it together. As for Mayhem, I'm seeing them next month in a lovely tiny venue (600 people tops) and it's going to be very interesting.
-
Once again Bloodstock is the only thing that catches my interest. And even then I'm not sure if I'll go.
-
I've seen some of his stuff in CZW.. and maybe a few other places. Pretty decent, had a little more about him than some spot monkeys.
-
Bar Promo! How did Toxxic make it in there alive anyway? All good stuff.
-
Ahh, thank you. I dunno why I said it's CIMA's....oh well. I haven't seen a Senton Bomb I've liked since Dick Togo's. Mainly due to Winger and Briscoe Bros in CZW failling to connect every time with it.
