Attacker in ring, runs at ropes, cartwheels, into a backflip, backflip dive over the ropes and twists into a senton.

Surfboard: Opp on front or knees. Stand behind. Grab arms, pull back and place foot between shoulder blades. Indian Deathlock: Opp siting down. Place leg between theirs and wrap their legs up Lotus style. Press down on knees/thights to force legs apaart/down into each other. Inverted Indian Deathlock (One you'll be thinking of I guess). Opp on front. Place foot between legs. Cross legs over each other, then hook your leg over their top one. So as you lean back it presses their legs together and they can't be on unhooked. Fall onto your back to apply pressure to the legs, forcing them together.

Well, he's giving us a kick up the arse for sure. Just like Atlas, just like Grappler. Come on people, feel the burn!

Really good show guys. I love that we have all these storylines going on at the moment. It's what we need. Along with the great wrestling we're writing. Congrats to Toxx..sorry Randy Orton. Keep this up man and you'll be getting the world title in like a month.

And the heel section blows it's load at that segment. Gee, I wonder where this is leading. And Duran, I think you might have started a new promo trend.
-
"Oh dear, it's Tom Flesher....we're all going to lose, very, very badly" (God I'm paraphrasing Top Gear qoutes from years ago) It's great to have you back Tom. (Y) Now let the storylines roll.

NWA Wildside finishing/signature move list
Dace59 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Yes, with both the Tiger Driver and Death Valley Bomb, they are both gimmick names. However, it should be called a DVB as that's what it's inventor called it. It's not the fact that Bomb and Driver are often switched at all. As with Tiger Driver, TMI had the Front Facelock Suplex called the Tiger Driver, then Miwasa was under the mask and then he brought along the Tiger Driver move we all know today. But there's never been a move called a Tiger Bomb that wasn't already something out (eg Sitout PowerBomb Mr Styles!) That's it in a nut shell. -

It was never called that to my memory. And the fact it's NOT a Tiger Driver means it'd be wrong. Well, inconnist with all the gimmick name and history behind the name Tiger Driver to a move anyway. As before, a Tiger Driver is a Double Underhook Sitout Powerbomb. Every Tiger Driver apron from Tiger Mask I's original has been a variation of that. The J Driller is a Double Underhook Piledriver. Piledrivers and Powerbombs are not interchangible terms. -
He was called the Crippler before he broek Sabu's neck. I'm pretty sure.

While mat work doesn't have to mean the same thing in every match, and not every match is going to be great, the work has to be consistant with the match. If you're going to use mat work to slow someone down/wear them down for big spots, but aren't doing any real body working, stay away from limb psych spots. That way, there is no limb psych to sell, and the focus is purply wear down. OR if you have two guys in a series of matches progressively building up counters and new spots in the series. You've had some start with mat work, move away from it in other matches then suddenly move back in latter matches as surprise. With all the moves focusing on being take downs/quick wins and lots of reversals without being anything that's working a body part or general wearing down. If mat work is trying to do everything at once and not getting very deep, it's going to look bad. You can make it have a meaning, without it straying into other areas. But if you don't need it, there are other ways to start up.
-
If you're going to spend five or so minutes on the mat trading the fancist armbars and armlock counters, at least sell them when you get up. You dont have to sell it all match long either, as long as you can show it wearing off. Shake out the arm less and less after next, as long as it's not worked on. I think writing wrestling has made me aware as much as I can write pretty and fnacy chain wrestling, it doesn't help me win if it does nothing.

NWA Wildside finishing/signature move list
Dace59 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Lol. No problem. It's a mute point to most calling it a Sitout Tiger Driver. They're just trying to over hype the move. But calling it a TD'91 is just wrong. But barring that slightly mute point, damn nice effort man. Keep up the good work. -

1) Fall to his knees instead of siting down. 2) Make it a sheer drop powerbomb (eg a neck drop) 3) Not be a piledriver. Tiger Driver = Double Underhook Siout Powerbombs (TD'91 = Kneeling Sheerdrop Double Underhook Powerbomb). J Driller = Double Underhook Piledriver. Now, Dan Koffat's finisher.. that's a Sheer Drop Tiger Driver. Looks nothing like a TD'91 or a J Driller though. -

Expect it isn't a TD'91, unless he chanced it. It started off as being a straight up Double Underhook Piledriver AKA Money Maker. Just CZW then later ROH pimped it as being a TD'91/Sitout TD'91 etc. Which it isn't from all the times I've seen it. -

Ahh, the move questions thread, how I remember that. Yer, that was the best clip I've seen. I've seen other videos of it since, and it's a Piledriver. Super Dragon is just an evil bitch with it at times. Throw them up, catch then, spike them. Bye bye neck. -

I was talking about JokerDriver/Rubix Cube/Electricchair SquareDrive. I remember Logan used it, he was around for a show or two when I joined the JL. What move where you planning out using then? -

It's ok about the move man, no worries. Storm Cradle Drive: Half Nelson opp, over arm around waist. Lean back, lifting them opp from the mat, then push your arms forwards, doubling the opp over (the opp is still held in mid air, their legs around your waist, under your armpits) Sitout, dropping opp on their head while still holding on. I'll try to find a clip to upload in a minute. Edit: Clippy clippy SCD
