I'm so so on them. I can listen to them but there aer other Power Metal bands I'd rather listen to.

I'm not. Along with Kerrang! it's one of the worst "alternative" music mags out there in the UK. Each to their own like, but I'd rather not touch it.

For some reason, being a Black and Death Metal fan inclines me towards hating it.

Hurt's the only track on the singles list I touched. I have this stuff shoved at me by the mass media, so I ignore it after seeing it sucks to me.

It's musical wankery and lots of people, myself included want to hear it. There's lots of arguements about if their music has soul or direction, but most of the time it's not something I look for. Dream Theater are amazing technical and always deliver on that fact and there are few bands that top them. They way they are probably makes them very marmite to some people, but you can't doubt the skill that's there.

The 3 CD version of Alive In Athens (which I think is Europe only) is kicking. The extra CD has a bunch of really nice stuff on it.

Has anyone heard I&W Live In Tokyo, I wonder if it's any good. Live Scenes from New York is awesome. I think this might be what you're missing. Northern Lights Suplex and Northern Lights Bomb are just gimmick names. Yes they've come into common technical use, but they're still gimmick names, just like Stunner, Style Clash and Mad Splash are. The only thing that links their technical names are they are both suplexes. I'd have to do some digging to see if they have routes in the same creator or something to give them both the name Northern Lights.

In a Suplex you put the Facelock on FIRST. And the arm of the shoulders is not a Facelock as it is not closed around your neck. You're finding very contrived ways to say they're similar. The original Tiger Driver was a Front Facelock Suplex. Has nothing to do with a Piledriver or anything. DVD/DVB has nothing to do with a Powerbomb or Piledriver. Having Similar Gimmick names does not mean they are similar moves. Maybe it's the fact I have a cold and I might not be thinking straight, I dunno.

Ermm, they dont. Been as you don't get put in a Facelock for a Northern Lights Suplex. Yes you can counter out of one with an NLS, but it's just a way of trapping the arm. You put your shoulder in their guy and wrap your arms around them waist. They jus have similar gimmick names, nothing more. Are are aware a NLB is a Scoop Brainbuster, looks like the Snow Plow only much better.

Pumphandle Suplex is under that name in SD5. Pumphandle arm between their legs, bar other arm under yours and them backwards over your head. Pescado = Fish. Styles miscall for a Plancha. Nagata Lock: 1 = Reverse Figure Four 2 = Cross Face 3 = Double Laying Armbar (Original Rings of Saturn) w/ Crossface.
