How'd I miss this thread for six pages? I watched Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders three times in three nights recently, thanks in part to the rib detailed in my avatar.

Straight trade? Sure.

God bless Chris Woodward. And fuck Braden Looper. Fuck him right up his useless, overpaid ass. Mets lose and I'm confident that this marks the end of their season.
-
Looper blows ANOTHER save. Mets and Braves go to extra innings tied at two.

I can say without question that Kirby is. It's got a fairly lengthy main game to begin with (eight levels, three stages apeice) as well as something called Rainbow Run. In that mode, you need to complete each stage in a certain amount of time or by using a certain amount of ink. Doing so awards you medals that you can use to unlock music, different-colored ink, and other tidbits. Also, there are medals hidden in each stage of the main game, and I imagine it'd take a while to find all of them. Plus, there are a few extremely fun minigames that also award medals depending on how well you perform on them.

That iPod Nano is amazing. I'd get one if I didn't already have a regular iPod. Christ, Apple's just got a liscence to print money with iPod and iTunes, don't they?

77. (At the time) Nobody questioned ELM driving two metal stakes through Chris Wilson's hands. I think everyone was secretly delighted at his impalement. 78. The whole thing started when somebody typed *scoop slam*. -
Hey, all I know is that Fulham FC came to Columbus a couple months ago and got their asses handed to them by the MLS (US Pro League) All Stars. I have no idea how good Fulham is, so it's quite possible that means nothing.

Yeah, I had it spelled incorrectly for about a year and a half into my career.

Ho damn. Happy birthday, Kibagami.

Gotta get Kirby: Canvas Curse for the DS. I love Meteos as well, but it's done nothing but collect dust ever since I booted that up. Innovative and fun gameplay, vibrant and sharp graphics, catchy music, and gobs of replay value adds up to one of the DS' finest games. Also, I'd reccomend picking up Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I haven't played it yet, but the reviews I've read have said that it's even better than the GBA versions, which were excellent. Regarding Katamari Damacy; pick it up if you can find it cheap (though $20 is pretty cheap to begin with), but otherwise, wait for We Love Katamari in a couple months. I imported it and, even though I love KD, the sequel is about ten times better.

Thanks folks. =) Yeah, I'm a young'n. I think I was sixteen when I started doing this; I'm pretty sure IL was the only writer of consequence younger than me.

Mets come back from 4-1 to win 6-4. I was leaping out of my seat when Castro hit that three-run homer to take the lead. Half a game behind the Phillies and Marlins.
-
Sorry for the rushjob; neither Rando or I had much time to write this weekend. Full comments later. Congrats Danny.

Mets have a very big week ahead of them as they face the Phillies at Shea and then the Marlins in Miami. I have a feeling that that's who the Mets'll mainly be fighting for the Wild Card until the end of the year, hence why it's so important to get a good jump on them right now. And yeah, the Cardinals/Marlins game tonight should be fantastic. I'll definitely be watching. Edit: Also, this annoys me. http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/new...t=.jsp&c_id=nym Yeah, Trachsel's getting kinda pissy about it, but he's got a point. Zambrano is an astoundingly mediocre pitcher and I'm amazed that they'd pick him over Trachsel after the terrific return start he had.
-
Which is kind of a strange precursor to the next five weeks, where everyone involved (save for the Astros) face arguably their toughest stretch of schedule all year. Marlins half a game back, Mets and Astros a game and a half back, Nationals two and a half back. This is gonna be amazing.
-
Oh my God. Roger Clemens is going to kill somebody. And I'd completely sympathize.
-
Not quite how I wanted the road trip to end, but still a good trip overall. 5-2 is much better than I expected. Now to just hope the Phillies lose tonight so that they're within striking range (well, MORE within striking range) on Tuesday.

Funny; when ELM and I were discussing how he should handle his heel turn, I (in my puro-ignorance) was trying to sell him on doing his turn like Backlund in '94. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speaking of which, I never got the chance to thank you for thinking the turn up and selling me on it. So, thanks.

Quite all right. I'm hoping Yahoo! will automatically pick for me based on my pre-ranked players...

No, I did. In fact, I've been waiting for something to show up in that spot before commenting.
