Be happy you don't live in NY. They have instituted a smoking ban on all public indoors places, which means that even if you're out at a bar with friends, you STILL have to go outside to smoke. I've gotta give Crowe my support here (even though I hate his guts on that other thread ) because I'm fucking sick and tired of people treating smokers like we're some kind of alien that needs to be quarantined whenever possible. In a lot of places here in DC, not only can I not smoke inside (which I understand), but I can't even walk outside to smoke...I have to go to some designated area outside to smoke...you know, with the rest of "my kind". Or the fucking airport...WTF?? I mean, if you're gonna make us go in that little smoking room, the least you could do is put a fucking fan in there you dipshits. You walk in and it's like you've already got your fix...and cancer to boot. They fuck us constantly with their laws and their bans and their "You can't smoke here...you can't smoke there". There's such a huge push to tell everyone that smoking is bad for you (somethign we already fucking know), while alcohol remains relatively untouched. They're a few things about alcohol out there, but not nearly to the extent as there is with cigarettes. But what's more dangerous to more people?? Huh? Drinking or smoking? Smoking might kill ME in like 50 years....but drinking could potentially kill not only me, but any number of other people RIGHT FUCKING NOW! Dude? Where do you live? We had some crazy bad storms yesterday, and a ton of people lost power. I live in Montgomery County, MD right now, and almost the whole county lose power. A huge HUGE tree got uprooted and fell on a house, knocking out all the power lines in its path. It was slightly annoying seeing as how I was taking a shit...and there are no windows in my bathroom. I was slightly preturbed when it all went dark, and you know when you're in the position I was in, you just think anything bad is your caused by the crap coming out of your anus. About the "Thugg-speak", I thought about that as I was writing it, and decided to speak subtly like Thugg. I figured, it wouldn't be realistic to have him talking all proper just to fool everyone reading, because that couldn't happen in real life. I thought that people like you, Sacred, probably Frost and Tom, would know it was me easily, but some of our newer people wouldn't know. The idea was to try and surprise, but be realistic...also, this wasn't the mark out moment for the angle, so while I wanted to surprise people, it was more important for me to tell a good story. Also, anyone that's seen me write here knew it was me cause the "() - " is my style. I would like to thank all the people who let me use their characters for this. I know that I butchered most of your characters (especially Va'aiga), but what can you expect from someone who's been gone so long. So, thanks for letting me use you...and I may call on you in the near future for more help. A note about the Thugg character... He is like King or any of your IC management guys. In that, he can be used by you. You know, if you wanna have him make a match for you to set something up or something, you can use Thugg to get it booked (assuming you clear the match with your opponent and CC). Please don't PM me asking me if you can have a match...I don't make those decisions. Thugg's role as part owner is only IC, you still have to go through the normal process you have been to get matches and such. If you wann use Thugg to set up a match or something, you don't need my permission. I trust people will use him in the construct of his character and the framework of this angle. However, you may wanna drop me a PM because I can probably help you out or help you place your promo better since chances are i'll probably be promoing too. Just a note is all... Da "just notes" H

SWF Loses 3...Commissioner Takes Heat Backstage How long will King stay at the helm? The Smartmarks Wrestling Federation, one of the world's top wrestling federations, has lost three employees over the weekend, Frost, Janus, and Thoth. Frost has been in a contract dispute with the SWF for the past month, but even with his contract expiring after the Ground Zero, the two were never able to come to terms on several key issues. Janus, a newcomer that has made a serious impact in the wrestling world, has reportedly taken an unpaid leave of absence from the federation, citing personal reasons for his departure. Thoth, a long time employee of the SWF has been missing since Ground Zero on Sunday. He missed a mandatory employee meeting Monday morning, and he has not returned any calls from the SWF Creative Control. A report leaked out during the aftermath of the highly-attended PPV, Ground Zero, that a shouting match could be heard coming from one of the luxury suites at the arena. Gus, the SWF camera man, told reporters that he the SWF commissioner, Brian Applewhite, was watching most of the show from this box, save for the times when he was needed on TV. Gus also said that he saw Thoth enter the box after the show, leading many to believe that this argument with King has lead to Thoth's departure from the federation. His contract status is still unknown and Thoth was unavailable for comment on the matter. These losses for the SWF are the latest in a string of disturbing reports from the federation. Over the past weekend, as the SWF finished up it's PPV, Ground Zero, a number of reports have come out about the commissioner of the federation. Brian Applewhite, known to the world as the Suicide King, has served as the SWF commissioner for roughly 8 months after serving as deputy commissioner under former SWF commish, Stubby McWeed. A short time back, the Japanese conglomerate that owned the SWF sold it to a company who wishes to stay anonymous. It was widely knows that Applewhite was integral in securing this lucrative deal for the new owners, and used his inside knowledge to force the selling price of the federation down. It was rumored that for his assistance, Applewhite would receive a pay raise and controlling interest in the federation just as soon as the time was right. Three weeks ago, the SWF's parent company awarded Applewhite a raise for his help during the sale of the federation and his tired efforts on and off television to keep the federation lucrative. Much to the dismay of many, King's raise came in the form of stock options with the SWF, options which King quickly took advantage of...purchasing 25% stock in the SWF. It has been learned that while there are many different investors in the company, this stock gave King controlling interest in the federation since none of the other investors wish to take an active role in the company. Applewhite said, "This is obviously a great day for me and my family, but it is also a great day for the SWF and all of it's employees. We still have some systems in place from when Stubby held this position, and finally, I have the power to implement certain plans to take the federation to new heights. I belive that the board of trustees will be very pleased with the return they will see on their investments, our staff will be pleased with the better working environment and better benefits, and our fans will be very pleased with the increased quality of our product. This is a great day for business, and it's a great day for wrestling." The board or trustees, who were unavailable for comment, seemed very pleased with King's plans and his new position of increased power. However, not all is well inside the walls of the SWF. According to one superstar who asked to remain anonymous, "dissention is very high in the locker room". He went on to describe the backstage atmosphere as "dark", "bitter," and "violent." Another source said, "Everyone's pretty pissed off about the way King has been running the show. He's letting the power go to his head. And what happened to Grand Slam [Mark Stevens] was just terrible. No one feels safe, and a lot of people feel that King has over stepped his boundaries as the commissioner." In an unscripted, on-air dispute during a show two weeks ago, Applewhite publically repremanded SWF Hall of Famer and the current play-by-play announcer, Mark Stevens, for his comments about the commissioner's actions. King proceeded to cancel the former SWF star's highly recognized training facility, which up until two weeks ago, was very closely tied with the SWF, sending 95% of it's graduates over to the federation. And in his most recent act of public humiliation of SWF personnel, Applewhite and Stevens erupted into another unscripted, on-air dispute during the Ground Zero PPV, which ended with Applewhite firing Stevens in front of the whole world. Many backstage were apalled with the actions of the commissioner. One employee said under the condition that his name not be mentioned, "I can't believe he fired Mark on world-wide television. I mean, it's a PPV...everyone is watching. I wonder how Lynn [steven's wife] took the news while watching it on television. That's just wrong. I mean, maybe Mark shouldn't have been saying bad things about King, but that's no reason to take his manhood like that." Many of the other employees feel the same way about King's actions, and there is a rumor that Mark Stevens has retained a laywer and is preparing a suit against King and the SWF. Neither Mark nor Lynn were available for comment. Applewhite said to reporters yesterday in regard to the losses of three wrestlers, "This certainly is a loss for the SWF. Frost, Janus, and Thoth were great talents who we would have liked to see stick around the SWF for many years. Unfortunately, we were not able to come to terms with Frost before his contract expired, after which he terminated the negotiations. Janus came to me personally and asked for time off. I will not give the reasons for this sabbatical, but he will be away from the company for a while. Of course, in this business, if you don't work, you don't get paid. That is, unfortunately, the nature of our business, and my bosses wouldn't be very happy with me if I was handing out paychecks to people who were not working with the company. Janus understood that and then chose to take the time anyway. That was his choice. As for Thoth, we are still attempting to contact Thoth as we feel he is a great asset to our company. Once we are in contact with him, we will determine what to do from there." When asked about the public firing of Mark Stevens, King replied, "I'm not going to discuss that at this time." With the loss of Mark Stevens, who has been regarded as the best in the business at calling matches, and the losses of three of their top teir superstars, the wrestling world could see major pushes by other federations such as the XWF or GPW.
